Treated shamefully by these people

I don’t know if this is an external company that nhs uses or if it’s a part of them, either ways horrible! I referred myself in January, only received an appointment for today, about 5 months later. My back was getting worst so was really looking forward to seeing them. Planned everything with work etc. My appointment was for 4 pm, about 11 am the notify me via email that the time for my appointment has changed to 2 pm, worked around that and got to the clinic for 2. No one acknowledges me until 2:40. Then a lost looking man comes out and calls another patient in, she very kindly points out I have been waiting much before her. He asks for my name, says there is no appointment for me on the list, offers me a card to call someone. By this time I was at breaking point, I just declined and walked out. Shame on them, messing people who are in pain around. Never again.. now contacted someone on private Good for nothing!

Gauri was amazing

Gauri was amazing. My experience with her was fun and informative. Understanding and makes you feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend her. I had problems with my shoulder and in the next few weeks I was back to being able to do my daily activities and sports. Even on the last appointment just before discharging, gave me a couple of tips to strengthen and protect my body. Overall, Gauri did an amazing job and If I have another problem would definitely come back to her.

Shoulder injury

Zeeshan helped me to recover from nasty shoulder injury caused by a fall. He gave good clear advice over the few weeks of treatment including exercises, stretches and the appropriate use of ice and now 6 weeks on, I am almost back to normal. Very convenient location near my home and he had a nice, clean, spacious office room. The app was easy to use at home with clear instructions for each exercise. Would definitely recommend.

Poor Customer Service

I have been trying to get an appointment for weeks now, but they have been unable to help me via any other means than phone, which is N/A to me atm. Email responses are few and far between. My ticket was closed, and they seem to be at the mercy of a poor internal technology system. The app and live chat are also not working despite what the contact us page says and what they have suggested. Once I can get some assistance and actually see a doctor, even just on a video call, I will update this review, but very disappointed atm. All the while, my issue worsens.

Quality Physiotherapy Care

I was impressed with my physiotherapist Mustafa Elmouna after he made a diagnosis of dextroscoliosis of my thoracic spine which I was unaware of and wrote a letter requesting my GP refer me to a specialist, In addition I benefitted from gait training, a suitable exercise plan, advice in response to questions and support with extra physical examinations which helped manage my painful osteoarthritis. This was provided with kindness, understanding, patience and a mind over matter approach.

I was very disappointed with the…

I was very disappointed with the assessment service I received.
The assessor appeared tired, bored, distracted, and not fully present throughout the appointment. During the assessment, she mentioned several personal matters, including needing to use the toilet because she had been drinking a lot of water and had been busy all morning without a break. She was also stretching in front of me during the session, which felt unprofessional and gave the impression that my assessment was not being taken seriously.

Throughout the appointment, I felt rushed. I was repeatedly told that there was only limited time to assess me, and towards the end she kept mentioning that her next appointment had already started and that I was cutting into the next client’s time by “five minutes.” This made me feel uncomfortable and unable to fully explain my situation properly.
I understand that professionals can have busy schedules, but I believe time management and professionalism are very important in a service like this.
Clients attending assessments deserve full attention, respect, and to feel listened to rather than rushed through the process.

The physiotherapist (Maryam Rani)

The physiotherapist (Maryam Rani) at the Cannock centre provided excellent support and treatment for my plantar fasciitis, helping to significantly reduce the pain and discomfort in my foot. I truly appreciated her professionalism, care, and effective guidance throughout the 3 sessions I had.
