Waste of money

The 2 packs of chicken roll slices i bought had the date the 12th on, I opened one on the 11th, day after delivery and it was already off. I opened the other and was the same. Both had to go straight into the bin. Totally let down and dissappointed

Bought petrol at Eastleigh Asda on 4th…

Bought petrol at Eastleigh Asda on 4th May and my card was charged twice. Eastleigh is 3.5 hours drive from home and the store said they couldn’t do a refund over the phone. Nice lady there said I could go to my nearest Asda to get my refund and she sent me a copy of my receipt. Got in touch with my local Asda in Market Drayton and they were not at all sympathetic and said they couldn’t do anything about it as they don’t sell petrol.
This is not my mistake, it is Asdas and I’m £45 out of pocket
I got in touch with head office and the advisor kept insisting that I had to do a 7 hour round trip to get my refund and there was nothing she could do. She was actually not listening and was awful.
Refunds to cards can be done over the phone, I have done them many times. Asda is deliberately being difficult
I want my money returned to me

NO DELIVERY

NO DELIVERY.
The delivery service is or was appalling to say the least.
Booked a time, last had a text from them was two hours before delivery due, nothing since.
Checked their tracking, stated placed, then prepared.
since this nothing. I telephoned Asda, 0330053011, asked why delivery was late and no further information, I asked to cancel delivery and order plus a full refund, the lady on the phone seemed not surprised at this, she stated she will cancel plus full refund. I said I would never use their grocery delivery service. Then requested to have her send me an email message to this effect. Disgusting all-together

If I could score '0' I would

If I could score '0' I would. The worst customer service and a recurring theme! Placed an order which was never delivered, app showed 'there is a problem with your order and someone should have contacted you' which no one had or has to date. The following day the order then changed to 'order delivered' which it never was! The funds were then also taken from my bank account despite no delivery being received. Called their 'customer service' team to be told they have applied for a refund (no apology or explanation as to why it wasn't delivered!) and that I should hear within 24/48 hrs via email to confirm if the refund has been approved as its not guaranteed!! Then have to wait a further 3-5 working days for refund IF approved. Not acceptable and disgusting service only to be advised there is nothing further that can be done. Tried calling the store direct to be told re dial and ask for this extenstion as they can't help but the duty manager will help on there. Asked to be transferred rather than go through all the options again only to be told they can't and to redial. Called as directed and no answer or alternative option. Repeated x4 times and still no answer!!!! Hope someone sees this from Asda and contacts! appalling service after many issues over the last few months!!! Here we come Tesco because Asda are a shambles!!!!

I wouldn’t even give it a star if I didn’t have to.

I wouldn’t even give it a star if I had the option. Asdas quality of food is dire. Expensive prices for less than average food. I ordered duck which has 8 days shelf life usually. Whole chicken and lasagne to last throughout the week and all of these items ran out in 2 days. How do you expect people to eat everything in 2 days and also I shopped for the week. It’s ridiculous. You charge expensive prices and the food is rubbish. My cucumber has broken down to water and I have to send mushrooms back on the day of delivery because they’re brown and slimy. Shame on you. How can you sell food of this ridiculous quality. I am very disappointed. You think just because it’s being delivered you should send everything going out of date. So now I have to go shopping again because I don’t have food for the week. We spend an awful lot of money every week with you. I don’t really know why. We should probably try somewhere else we can’t keep paying for your slops.

Missing items, dont refund

The terrible replacements the awful ui in the app, drivers never properly do returns so you have to manaully request refunds, which doesnt work properly on app.

Must have made a fair bit of money by not actually delivering what i pay for.

Genuinely no worse delivery service. Apps deleted and will no longer be using asda

Terrible

Terrible, I ordered a microwave oven and you have to spend minimum £40 so I added a packet of biscuits and the delivery man came today with a packet of biscuits in his hand and I asked him where is the microwave that I ordered and he said I don’t know so I told him to take the biscuits back and I called customer service which they didn’t have a clue about the microwave that I ordered . Terrible service, I’m finished with Asda . Order 7142563001472

Another reason not to shop at Asda…

Another reason not to shop at Asda anymore
I buy Asda chicken nuggets in the orange bag and now they've swapped supplier or something for a cheaper chicken, smaller sizes. The nuggets before tasted nice and easy massive, now these nuggets are small and taste horrible.
Just more of a reason for me not to shop at Asda. They keep changing their food to cheaper alternatives and it's making customers go elsewhere.

Asda will take your money and not deliver your shopping.

To be fair, if I could have given 0 stars, I would have. So my groceries were due between 11 and 12am today, I had a wedding to attend just after 2pm so that would have left be plenty of time to get ready and go. Anyway, 1pm arrives and still no delivery, I checked the website; no up dates at all. At around 1.45pm, the website says they are running late but my delivery was next and to expect them at 2.01pm. That was then up dated to 2.23pm then 2.29pm and finally 2.30pm. At this point I've missed the wedding and the time slot on the website is now going backwards with estimated delivery at 1.33pm. So I ring customer service, who checks for and says that the driver tried to deliver that morning but no one was home. Upon informing the customer service agent that that was intact a lie and I had ring doorbell footage to prove it, she rang the store and was told that I would recieve a phone call within the next 30 minutes to let me know what was happening as their computers had experienced a glitch. That 30 minutes is now long gone. At this point, I have missed the wedding that I was due to attend, I have no shopping, I have no way of requesting a refund so I can shop elsewhere as now the phone is not being answered. Absolutely fuming at the total disregard for the customer, I will not use Asda again and would definitely not recommend Asda home shopping to anyone.

Placed a large order for delivery got sent a recite before delivery showing 1 item for 19.99 to be out of stock saying that I would be charged less when ordering arrived there was only 4 items there out of the 32 or more tems I'd ordered Asda did not have majority of order aside from 3 waters an an ice-cream they instead of cancelling pending payment of 87 pound including the price of out stock items whole amount was taken an then automatically refunded just 20 pounds I have made three phone calls promised to be reimbursed as it's there error but have still been charged 65 pounds for shopping they did not deliver feel very ripped of having paid 64.50 for 3 multi packs of sparkling water an 1 small Kelly's honeycomb ice-cream an also paying 4 pounds for delivery not to mention the waste of time an inconvenience Asda give my money back or the items that I purchased in good faith an paid for shame on you refusing to refund money that was wrongfully taken havnt sorted even though it could have been soughted out 87.00 Is most people's weekly budget for food we cannot afford to pay that out twice In one week I have kids I tried to sort this out through your customer service but have been left with no choice but to warn others of this theivs give our money back or shopping!

Soft fruit is off already

All soft fruit delivered on Saturday is off today -monday. I would say the chiller was too high as the strawberries for eg are squishy one 1 side. But the melon has just had it. Spent over £100 it just happens too often

Delivery didn't arrive. Customer service useless

Delivery didn't arrived and was mistakenly marked as delivered. Customer service were clueless. Told me it had been delivered, it hadn't! Then said it had mistakenly been taken back to the store. They didn't know if my food was still being refrigerated! They gave me a new time slot for delivery. Delivery failed to turn up in 2nd time slot. Absolutely useless second phone call to customer service. Eventually arrive 3.5 hrs late! Disgusting experience. Will never us again.

If it was possible I would sandwich give no…

If it was possible I would give no stars
Me and my friend came to Asda just before we went on a camping trip. So we decided to buy something quick and filling for on the go. Prawn mayo sandwich. Duck in hoisin sauce turkey n stuffing and ploughman lunch
Every one of these sandwiches were absolutely disgusting. Which left us in the middle of no ware food we could not eat and no place to buy anything else. Prawn tasted like plastic not fresh
Turkey n stuffing and so dry. Duck n hoisin sauce. Very little duck and sauce. Loads of dead lettuce. Ploughman’s. I refused to eat due to my friend advising not to eat So unacceptable

Very short dates and poor service with online shopping

Very poor service with online groceries. They brought 12 yoghurts with 1 day to eat them. The strawberries were all mushy with 1 day as well. When I complained they would do nothing about it.
Check everything when it arrives or you could be had and they will do nothing. I've always been pleased with ASDA until now, but no longer.

Absolutely shocking how Asda scamming…

Absolutely shocking how Asda scamming people now. We ordered 2x 12 Huggies baby wipes(24 packs in total) for £11.48
They sent us 4x4 packs baby wipes which is only 16 packs for exactly the same amount of £11.48… we were working and wasn’t gone yet when Asda home delivery arrived so my sister opened the door and collected the order. We arrived 20mins later after Asda been delivered, so could not be able to deal with missing wipes why delivery guy. So I went to the Asda app where I ordered my items and opened a refund refuest for the missing packs of wipes and they declined to refund it… is that a joke? Is Asda really scamming people like that ?? Turns around it was substitute as they run out of jumbo pack of wipes so instead of 24 packs they decided to send as only 16 packs and charged us the same amount of money as for 24 packs of Huggies wipes… are they joking right now? I’m not going to leave it like that.. Also my neighbours told me they tried to the exact the same thing with them just for different items(food related) but they refused at the door as they been home and noticed somethings not right straight away.. so BE AWARE if ordering from Asda… don’t let them fool you..

Moldy grapes.

I think i'm being fair giving two stars as the moldy grapes were only part of my order but still disgusting nevertheless. It's hard to believe that these moldy grapes could be missed by the produce staff the pickers the checkout and the delivery driver yet i spotted it straight away. I phoned Tesco groceries customer services and was told ''Sorry we will refund you and tell the store'' they have the same rehearsed sentences every time you phone.

I visited ASDA ystalyfera

I visited ASDA ystalyfera where I bought four bottles of lager 3 for 4, I informed the staff that I had not received the discount.
Member of staff went to check, he came back with a picture on his phone saying it wasn't on that product.
I know I wear glasses but my eyesight isn't that bad, I know what I saw, so just be careful, any offers please take a picture of the offer otherwise the same could happen to you.
Being a customer since the store opened I feel totally let down. I will let others who live locally to be aware of what's happened to myself.
Totally disappointed.

Useless company with terrible customer service

I paid for a delivery to my son’s home this evening so that he would be stocked up for Easter but most of the shop was ruined by leaking milk. Asda are issuing a refund but this takes 5 days and my son has been left without food over Easter. It’s impossible to contact Asda to ask for vouchers as well as the refund which he could use in store. What a useless company! Won’t be shopping with them again!
