We had the MockingJays perform at our wedding at Blackbrook Barns last weekend and they were incredible. Really lovely group of guys who set up quickly and got the dance floor started straight away. They did a beautiful cover for our first dance and then went into a set list that had all of our guests on the dance floor. They responded to our guests and matched their energy even managing to get a dance battle going at one point which was a highlight of the evening! Couldn’t recommend them more!
We had a really easy time booking them and constant communication with Liam who sorted everything out effortlessly and was very accommodating throughout.

Can’t recommend these guys enough! They made our wedding so special. From the walk down the aisle to the very end they were amazing!

Absolutely incredible. We booked the Ashmore brothers for our wedding on 4th April 2026 at Whistle Barns in Heanor and 5 stars just isn’t enough to represent how amazing they were. We did loads of research for the right wedding band and from our first call with the guys we knew we’d found the band for us, they were genuinely interested to know our story and had such an enthusiasm that we just knew they would bring so much energy to the day. For every step of the journey they were so proactive with their communication and wanted to make the day as special as possible. We booked their platinum package so we had them for the full day and it was worth every penny. From the live music coming down the aisle to the reception, first dance and evening sets (and everything in between!) they had us completely covered and took all of the stress away. We’ve had so much feedback from the guests asking where we found these guys and how awesome they were.
On a final note just a huge thank you from us, so many of the memories from the day are wrapped in your incredible music. Can’t recommend you guys highly enough!

The song pilots performed at our wedding at Styal Lodge and we were beyond impressed! All day they were on top form and had us all up dancing! Both us and the guests had only great things to say. Special thanks to Liam for such a simple booking process and helping with all my questions!

Wow! I would 100% recommend Ashmore Music. Communication with Liam was simple and clear from the very beginning. I was able to review and asses different bands to suit our music preferences and budget and he was super helpful and supportive in the lead up to our big day. Our chosen band was The Song Pilots - who were simply incredible. What a lovely group of lads and unbelievably talented. Their set list was brilliant and tailored to what we asked for to keep our guests entertained all night. They brought high energy and a great atmosphere throughout both sets - everyone loved it and I’ve had so many compliments ! Amazing band!!

We enquired about Ashmore Bros playing for our evening wedding reception at COB, Malpas on Valentine’s Day.

From the initial reply through to the event Liam and the band’s communication was absolutely amazing .
They took the time to understand our tastes and requirements.

They kept the dance floor busy all night and we had so many comments from all our guests on how good they were.

Would highly recommend!

The Squires were absolutely incredible. We could not have asked for a better duo to provide our entertainment. They truly made the day and the evening unforgettable. From the moment they arrived, they were completely professional, seamless, and just got on with everything effortlessly.

They even learned our first dance song especially for us, even though it was not on their set list, which meant so much. The atmosphere they created was amazing and the energy never dropped. Everyone is still talking about them and how they were the life and soul of the party.

The dance floor was never empty, and I barely left it all evening. A solid 10 out of 10. We would never hesitate to recommend them and would absolutely use them again if given the chance. Really made our wedding day.

If you are looking for a fantastic band for your wedding I can assure you that the Ashmore Brothers will not disappoint! From their thorough organisation skills to getting the party really started they are great! I was worried as my venue had a noise restriction and another band said they wouldn't be able to help us due to this. These guys adapted and made us have an unforgettable wedding. Thanks to all the band, highly recommend!!!

Booking The Song Pilots for our wedding was a deal breaker having seen them at my sister's wedding and that speaks volumes in itself. From initial contact with Liam, we couldn't have asked for a better service, even down to checking dates so we could secure our venue along with the band. Liam was prompt with responses and really helpful to ensure we could make both align. We got married at Bennett's Willow Barn in Worcester and were concerned as there was a restriction on sound, but the guys came prepared and we would never have known that this was the case. Joey, Chris and Dave exceeded our expectations. They even went to the effort to learn and perform our first dance song request, which was not the typical song choice and we were completely blown away. They kept the dance floor full, the dancing non stop and engaged with our guests and bought the party! If you have any doubt on whether you should book these guys - don't. They are an incredible trio, down to earth and fantastic at what they do - I am trying to find another reason to book them!

We booked the Ashmore Brothers at quite short notice for our wedding at Hanbury Barns and what a booking it was. Liam and Matt (with the help of Rich) provided a special ambience for our ceremony and the drinks reception.

They took time out before the ceremony to have a chat with me, recognising that I was very nervous, and this was greatly appreciated!

The quality of the music they played was top class and I had a dozens of guests coming over to me to ask for their details because of how great they were, and I don’t think I can pay a better compliment than that. I would definitely consider booking them again for a future special occasion.

We had The Squires at our wedding in September at Mere Court in Knutsford for both drinks reception and the evening . They were absolutely brilliant!!! We had so many compliments from guests about the acoustic set during the reception and it set a great vibe :) in the evening they were fabulous doing both live sets and dj sets in between. They also learnt and performed our first dance song which was such a special moment we’ll never forget , if you’re thinking about booking them do it !! 🤩 thanks so much guys x

From communication during the build up to the performance on the night, they were amazing. So many guests from our wedding have messaged us to say that they were the best band they’d experienced at a wedding/party .

We hired Indiana, they were perfect for our wedding party! Such a vibe! Everyone was up dancing, not a single song with an empty dance floor! After the wedding no one has stopped talking about how good the music was, songs that people of all age groups know. Honestly couldn't have wished for better! So glad we decided on a band instead of a DJ and these lads were fantastic! Would defo recommend 🙌

Cannot recommend Liam Ashmore music enough’! We hired the band “The Squires” via Liam for our wedding and they were incredible!

We hired them all day from the very beginning to the very end and they just made the day! We were able to completely personalize the music to match both mine and my husbands personalities and interests and the band and Liam honored that!

The dance floor was FULL and The Squires did an excellent job of keeping everyone there once people were up dancing!

Liam is so accommodating and got back to me with any queries we had about the band and how we could expect the day to flow! It was managed perfectly and we had so many compliments on the band and how talented they were!! They truly made the day perfect and matched our vibes!

On the 15th august we had the Song Pilots for our wedding at the Maynard, Grindleford. The communication up until our wedding was great and on the night so many people remarked on how amazing they were and loved the covers they played. They sorted our first dance and even played a requested song that wasn’t included in their song list for us. The dancefloor was packed all night and lots of people asked how we found them. We also enjoyed watching our night from their perspective through their Instagram stories. Would definitely recommend! Thank you so much!

James and Nathan you were utterly fantastic! You brought the right energy throughout our entire day and the dance floor didn't empty at any point during the evening either. So glad we picked the Song Pilots to perform at our wedding in May. They played our first dance live for us, which was great! They also picked the BEST songs to play live, and interacted with us and our guests throughout the evening which really added to the vibe of the evening. And nailed the dj set list on the intervals. Really nice guys, and importantly (to me), are an actual genuine band in real life!

When I first contacted Liam (from Ashmore Bros) I was so relieved to finally speak to someone who clearly had a passion for music and bringing real bands to events like weddings. Liam was communicative and professional. And the band were brilliant, friendly on the night engaged with the crowd perfectly (not too much, not too little). Wouldn’t hesitate to book them again!

We hired The Squires band through Ashmore Music for our wedding at Brinsop Court in Hereford. What can we say other than we were beyond happy with how the guys added amazing sounds throughout our entire wedding day. They worked so hard with all the setup at multiple outdoor spaces and then again for the evening. The vibe of sophistication and soulfulness after the ceremony was just tremendous and then could get us up and dancing with popular disco tunes at the end of the day, it goes to show their versatility and quality of service. Hire these guys for your wedding and you won’t be disappointed.

We hired the Ashmore Brothers for our wedding at Primrose Hill Farm in June 2025 and they were absolutely brilliant. They performed our first dance song for us perfectly. The two sets were awesome, with a great mix of songs to keep the dancefloor alive. They also do a DJ set between live performances so we didn't need to hire a seperate DJ. The guys are really friendly too and genuinely want your day to be special. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good wedding band - Thank you!
