We booked the Ashmore Brothers for our outdoor wedding in Scarborough, after meeting them at the National Wedding Fayre in Birmingham & could not have been happier - they were an absolute hit!

Their communication before the event was a highlight, giving us reassurance that they were on top of everything, without needing much from us to progress things.

We had all 3 members for the entire day and they provided an incredible soundtrack that added atmosphere to all parts of our wedding. They learned all of the songs that we threw at them + a brilliant set list in the evening. Their version of Turning Page when my bride walked down the aisle will be frozen in my memory forever.

The band not only did a great job playing music, but fit into the day with our guests too, they were a pleasure to have with us and got on with everyone perfectly.

If you are looking for a band for your event or wedding, we would wholeheartedly recommend Liam, Matt and Rich!

Ashmore Brothers were fantastic! All our guests had a brilliant time dancing along to their set, and all complimented there sound and professionalism! So please we booked the band to perform and would absolutely recommend them.

The Song Pilots - Dodford Manor 17/05/2025

We couldn’t have asked for a better band than The Song Pilots for our wedding day. From the moment they started playing, the atmosphere was electric - they had everyone up dancing and singing along, from the first dance right through to the final song of the night - Joey with his impecible timing again finishing perfectly to the second at midnight ;)

Their setlist was spot on, with a perfect mix of crowd-pleasers and singalongs that kept everyone happy. They performed our first dance beautifully in a mix of styles, slow to start and upbeat halfway to bring everyone together, which meant so much to us.

They really are a fun bunch of guys and we felt they matched our energy perfectly. Remember to drop a box of beer off to them and they'll keep the dancefloor full all night ;)

Liam was fantastic in the lead up to the day as well, great communication and professionalism from start to finish, it's so reassuring working with people who just get it.

Our guests have been and will be raving about the guys weeks for weeks to come, and quite a few asked for their name for future events – which says it all, really.

If you’re looking for a band that brings great music, good vibes, and knows how to fill a dance floor, we wholeheartedly recommend The Song Pilots. They helped make our day truly unforgettable.

We had the Ashmore Brothers play at the Dodford Inn for our evening wedding reception and we cannot recommend them enough. We had so many compliments about them from our guests, their 2 sets and DJ sets were perfect. Communication on the lead up to the wedding was perfect too. Our only regret is that we wish we had booked them to play all day not just for the evening, if I could give more starts we would! Loved that they made a short video of the night, we have loved watching this back while we wait for our video from our videographer .

THEY WERE AMAZING!

Everyone has commented on how fantastic they were and we still have guests talking about it three weeks later. They gave us the exact atmosphere we had hoped for and were one of the best parts of the day. Hire them; you will not be disappointed.

Special shout out to Liam who was so quick to respond when we had a query in the lead up.

We hired the The Sherlocks to play our wedding at Bredenbury Court Barns. I cannot recommend these guys enough! Their playlist was right up our street including classics like backstreet boys and five right through to blink 182 and green day. They had the whole room dancing the whole way through! The way they interact with the crowd kept everyone entertained and got all involved, we even had a wall of death! (A wedding first for me). Everything to do with these guys, from Liam who sorts all the admin and was quick to reply and always attentive, right through to speaking to the band after they had finished. So happy with our decision to hire them and would recommend to anyone and everyone!! Thank you!!

The Ashmore Brothers were amazing from start to finish! The booking process was so easy and they had good communication up until the day! We booked the full day package and they did not disappoint. The band arrived at Curradine Barns a couple of hours before the ceremony to set up and were super friendly amongst the morning choas!The guests (and me) loved dancing and singing along during the cocktail hour. On the evening they well and truly bought the party and honestly we did not leave the dance floor. Our guests have now not stopped talking about the Ashmore Brothers and loved every minute of them! We booked the Ashmore Brothers for our wedding after seeing them perform briefly at the National Wedding Show. We enjoyed their 10 minute set, liked their example setlist and thought they seemed very genuine and professional so thought we would go for it. We later found out that our venue had included them on the preferred supplier list after having only played there once before and we can completely understand why. They were absolutely incredible!
They were happy to accommodate playing alongside our saxophonist and it was as if they had all been playing together for years. The night started slightly later than planned due to our wedding breakfast running over but that didn't phase them. They immediately got the crowd going and kept the dancefloor filled all night with songs for all ages. The day of our wedding was unforgettable but the evening absolutely blew it out the water and that's thanks to the Ashmore Brothers. They well and truly brought the party and us and our guests loved them.
I am so so glad we booked them and I could not recommend them enough. As well as being extremely talented musicians, they are also really top blokes which made us love them even more.
If you're looking for a wedding band then stop looking and book the Ashmore Brothers!

We booked the Song Pilots for our wedding on 21st March at Dodford Manor this year, and they did not disappoint. From the off, Liam was a great help and made sure all our questions were answered. On the day, the guys were so self sufficient, we turned round and everything was ready. They were INCREDIBLE as a band. We are huge gig goers and love our live music, and The Song Pilots, were like having an actual band play a concert at our wedding. They were a great laugh and played to the crowd, really taking into account what would make our day. The guys even posted their setlist in our guest book, a great touch!
Hugely Recommend both Ashmore Music and The Song Pilots for your big day!

We used Liam Ashmore's website to select a band for our wedding at The Mill Barns in Alveley near Bridgnorth, Shropshire. There was a variety of music styles available, but we chose James and Nathan - The Squires. They arrived in good time to set up before the guests arrived (and appropriately dressed!) - important for us as we had booked them for the drinks reception directly after the ceremony as well as the evening music.
As soon as they started playing, we started getting positive comments (as we were outside at the time). Our guests really enjoyed their acoustic set - and a lot of people mentioned that it was great to have a band during the reception, but one that had an appropriate volume level to let people hold converstaions as well as to enjoy the music.
Then for the evening, although we had a relatively small wedding in terms of numbers, the dancefloor was always busy. The two sets that James and Nathan did were excellent, and they followed the brief we gave them to the letter! Great music all night long.
We couldn't be happier with our choice to use Ashmore Music, and to have The Squires to provide the backdrop for our big day!

We booked the Ashmore Brothers for our wedding on the 30th December at the Mill Barns and they were amazing! I really struggled to find a band that I liked but after stumbling across the Ashmore Brothers we knew they were the band for us. The Ashmore Brothers were amazing. We saw them at the Wedding Show at the NEC and they were stand out fanstastic.
They were easy to book and we had really good communication in the run up to the wedding, answering all our questions and making us feel relaxed!
We had them all day at our wedding, they such nice guys and interacted with the guests, played great songs and generally bought the party vibes!
They encouraged my son to play guitar with them and he was buzzing, he's so glad he did it! They fully indulged us with a sing-a-long during our ceremony which was pulled off perfectly too!

The Song Pilots were an absolutely incredible addition to our wedding at Bredenbury Court Barns back in October.
Not only are they so talented, but their presence alone added so much to our evening. Their energy was infectious - positive, fun and just happy to be there, which lasted all through their set.
We had always hoped we’d be able have an awesome live band at our wedding, and The Song Pilots were exactly that.
We’d recommend them to anyone, far and wide, they are simply fantastic.

We had the pleasure of the Song Pilots at our wedding at Dodford Manor on the 26th October and we were beyond pleased. In the run up, Liam was super helpful and had the right amount of attentiveness helping us feel confident we’d picked the right business for our wedding. The band themselves were awesome, super friendly and were just incredible - our guests said it felt like they were at a gig which was totally the vibe we wanted. The songs they chose were perfect and they kept our dance floor full the whole evening. We also had the ‘DJ’ package which was an excellent addition. We were over the moon with them - thank you for making our day perfect!!

The Squires did a mammoth set for our Wedding at Tower Hill Barns on 19th October 2024. They played our ceremony music, an acoustic set, managed our playlists during the wedding breakfast, two evening sessions and Dj'd our playlists in between!!! Give them a Pride of Britain award!Their acoustic performance of Blackbird as I walked down the aisle was just magical and something I won't forget. Communicating with Ashmore Music ahead of the wedding meant that we had everything planned well in advance and everything went seamlessly. The lads got the dancefloor full, even though I know my crowd are not generally big dancefloor fillers-it's a testament to their energy and fun they brought that everyone was chanting for them to play more songs! We can't thank them enough! :)

We had The Squires play at our wedding at Foxtail Barns Wedding Venue. They were magnificent and included all our requests which made the whole might go smoothly. They also included our guests at the end too and everyone enjoyed a fun dance along. Their music live was also fantastic!

Liam at Ashmore Music was also great when it came to organising the band for us. He was always clear in his communication and answered any questions we had. He was very approachable and friendly too. Huge thank you to Ashmore Music for being their at our wedding, truly enjoyed it! Would highly recommend!

We were so pleased with The Squires for our wedding at The Pumping House on Friday. They were so good, everyone said the band were great and there was quite a bit of dancing considering the room was very hot!! My personal highlights were Five - Keep On Movin' and Little Comets - One Night In October. I was so happy to have the latter played even if it did clear the dance floor slightly ... Stewart and I enjoyed it so that's the main.

I was actually not feeling 100% all day as I'd been ill for a couple of weeks and had to power through my wedding day quite a bit so I went to bed at 11.30. I therefore missed the chance to thank them personally and say goodbye so wanted to make sure I at least left a review to show James and Nathan our appreciation!

The Song Pilots were amazing! Provided two hours of live music and the rest of the time they provided music as DJs. Great lads and very professional. We also had Joey perform for two hours during our reception drinks, and had so many compliments from guests about how good he was! Definitely recommend The Song Pilots for any occasion. We found out about them via The Ashmore Brothers at the National Wedding Show and Liam was so easy to work with. Any questions I had regarding the band, first dance, reception drinks etc he was always at the end of the phone or responded to my email within a day. Again, very professional and would highly recommend! First class service.
