Do not buy this. After reading reviews I tried to cancel my order the same hour that I ordered. I was told it was already shipped. I received this 2 days ago, doesn’t even pick up a speckle of dust. Emailed company to be ignored. Have now contacted klarna who have advised to return to an address in Dunstable with tracking info. My kids toy Dyson is better than this joke of a hoover

My mother was duped by ‘David Brown’s’ reviews of the bets Vacuum cleaners around. She was so happy to get this vacuum and got an electrician to install a plug for it too.
I came to clean her house as I work as a professional cleaner. I was the first to use it. I was shocked at how useless this was on hard floors, just moving dust around. Absolutely useless item.
I urged my mother to send it back as it was such poor quality.
She has contacted Aspirato and received several threatening emails which have intimidated her. She’s was too scared to return it but I have pushed her to continue as it’s obvious it’s a scam company. Avoid

Absolutely disgusting!! Customer Service of the lowest order! I have been trying since 5th July to obtain the return address as the product I bought from this company but they are refusing to let me have this. They just keep offering me discounts and telling me it will be hassle for me to send the item back as I will have to send it back to China and "we don't want that"! I must have asked 50 times now for the return address but they still won't give it to me. Surely this is illegal. I have had to get Klarna and my credit card company involved.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! ITS MORE HASSLE THAN ITS WORTH!! And I want to make sure the whole world knows not to buy from them! They are disgusting and shouldn't be allowed to do what they do to their "valued" customers. I'm trying to find out if there is anyway to bring the company down altogether.

Absolute rubbish. Looks like it was made by a 5 yr old. Tried to return under 90day policy, told it would be a hassle as it needed to be returned to China. Unit had a UK address on delivery box. Don,t go near this company.

I ordered a vacuum cleaner on the 14th July, but discovered my partner had ordered a unit from a different manufacturer for overnight delivery, so
I requested the order be cancelled, also on the 14th July.
Aspirato Support emailed a response, on the 15th July, refusing to cancel the order as they claimed it had already shipped.
The actual notification of shipping of the cleaner arrived in my inbox on Monday 17th July, and
the cleaner itself arrived on the 19th July.
I asked for returns instructions and a refund on the 19th July as well.
Aspirato's response was:
"We are sorry for any problem.
Returning the product is a hassle because you need to send it back to China and we don't think both of us want it to happen.
In this case, how about we offer 10% off for this order and you can keep it.
If you insist to return it, you need to bear the shipping cost, customs clearance fee, etc.
Once it encounter customs problems, the items will not be delivered.
If you decide to return it, please make our product clean. After we receive the package, we will check the product.
If it affects the secondary sales, we will deduct a certain fee from you or even not refund you."
Their own returns policy allows 90 days for return claims for refund, and the UK consumer rights allows a 14 day period within which to change one's mind and ask to return the goods for a refund, so this response from Aspirato is borderline fraudulent, in part because the delivery of the goods was so fast there is no chance it was shipped from China.
I have registered this incident at ActionFraud.police.uk, and I sugggest anyone in a similar situation do the same.
Update at 28/07/2023: Aspirato have continued to deny me the return/refund, instead offering only a discount of 10%, at first, and, today, 15%. They still insist it will have to be shipped to China , even though they shipped it to me within 2 days when I placed the order.

I wouldn’t even give this 1 star. Absolutely useless from beginning. Stopped working within 2 weeks. Been chasing for refund or for them to sort it… just given runaround. This is a scam company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Trying to get refunded by Klarna. They are the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with.

A big con,company only care about your money,the quality of machine is sub standard,even for stuff made in china,and if your not happy,returning hoover back to china,it costs more than to purchase, please save your money,this hoover is a piece of s--t.

Don't understand the bad reviews. They would've put me off if I'd read them before ordering but I'm glad I ordered it.
Sure, it may not be as sturdy etc as some of the more expensive ones but it does the job for our bungalow.
It arrived on time and works fine and is lightweight. Sure you have to read the instructions, but then you should always!
I'm a bit suspicious of some of the bad reviews....

Firstly, why are many of the 5* reviews from people who've only reviewed this one product? Hmmmm. I'll leave you to make your mind up about that!

I wish that I hadn't taken the "sponsored" webpage that comes up when googling 'best cordless vacuum cleaner' at face value. It gave such a glowing review. After reading reviews here (too late, I'd already parted with my cash!) I dived into the rest of that website, topguidance. It's primarily a 'beauty' website and clicking on the email link of the reviewer of the vacuum cleaners 'David Brown', merely sends you to another website.... Hmm.... I did however copy that email address and I've sent a message to 'David Brown' to ask, just how did he come to his conclusions about this cleaner? I'll update when, or if, 'David' responds.

UPDATE: the following day - guess what? "Delivery incomplete. There was a temporary problem while delivering your message to david(at)topguidance.org.". Now, there's a shocker!

I wish, instead, I'd come to trustpilot first... My stupid mistake! You'd think in this day and age I'd be more 'savvy' before parting with money, but hey these sites are very clever!

OK, so what DO I like? Well, it's light and easy to push. It's got a light on the cleaner head. It's bagless.

What DON'T I like?

Example: after ONE use, the tiny, flimsy looking 'rollers' have already shown signs of wear. I doubt they'll see out the summer. It's light, but it doesn't feel 'solid'. You can't switch the carpet beater off, and the bristles are too soft to tackle anything that's a bit stubborn. For instance, there was a small black bit of 'sock fluff' on the carpet which it simply could not handle. The floor cleaner head is very hard to remove to replace with the other tools. The 'on' button is inside the handle, right under your finger, so it's so easy to accidentally keep switching it on and off. The battery took almost 4 hours to recharge when it was exhausted. Oh yes, and the replacement batteries on the site are 'out of stock' as are the replacement brush heads!

The main thing is that I sincerely doubt its suction claims because it only picked up the lightest stuff on the floor and merely flung bigger (but not huge!) bits around.

I'd recommend going into their website and looking at the returns policy section - the poor grammar ought to be a big 'red flag' as to the professionalism and origins of this company.

I won't be getting in to trying to return for a refund because, having read others here, I sincerely doubt it'll prove to be anything but fruitless and I don't think I could take the stress at my age!

Let's get one thing clear: this vacuum cleaner is being heralded as being 'the best' by a page on a website that is 'sponsored', has no obvious credentials for presenting this review and by a person that is uncontactable - please come forward David Brown! The cleaner itself might be 'OK', but that's not the whole point, it's the sneaky subterfuge to get you to buy this product that I object to. And you should, too! It seems that even people who are generally 'switched on' to dubious internet claims can be caught out.

My advice to anyone reading this: buy from a reputable website such as Amazon, AO etc because you CAN return your products, you CAN speak to real people on the phone and you CAN get satisfaction. Also: use your credit card for such purchases because essentially, your problem with purchases is THEIR problem too!

Update: we sold this on to someone with a small holiday place that it's probably better suited to. We lost money on the whole experience, but less than we could have.

The vacuum broke within a few months of light use. I contacted customer support which was very easy with quick responses. They ask for the batch number. I had a whole new vacuum in about a week. The new vacuum works as it should but only time will tell if this one will last longer than a few months but at least the customer service is very responsible.

I do not do reviews my wife has but myself I mean NEVER but I had to on this occasion. This is a complete SCAM you will receive a vacuum like stick but good luck in using it hovering it is the worst of the worst. Then good luck trying for a refund or even getting an address to send it back to PLEASE READ ALL THESE REVIEWS BECAUSE ALL OF THEM ARE 100% TRUE IF YOU FIND A GOOD ONE ITS A PLANT BY ASPIRATO THEMSELVES PLEASE DONT BUY THIS CORDLESS HOVER. I am doing an investigation into this firm who they are where their from I will find out all I can and post it everywhere I will do everything I can to stop these scum from taking money from hard working people. One thing I can tell you. They are not a UK company they are using a virtual office that itself is based in the UK but it’s not staffed by anyone belonging to Aspirato They just pay a fee so they can use a .co.uk when you send a email it redirects to China. I hope I have put you off buying from Aspirato as this is what I want to do. And when they change their company name which they will do I will go after the new company. I already have found two previous names they have used plus the same hover is sold under at least 5 other brands the exact bundle of crap sold under 5 other names same colours red and blue same battery same bundle off CRAP. DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP.

I WOULD THINK THIS IS A WARNING FROM ASPIRATO IN A ROUNDABOUT WAY SAYING GOOD LUCK GETTING YOUR MONEY BACK !!!!

I had the same problem as
The last person. Ordered it then saw the reviews. So cancelled it more or less straight away which they said to me it had been shipped. I’m still in the process of getting me money back as I paid through Klarna so they can’t cancel my payment. It’s still an on going dispute and I’m still out of pocket.

Ordered a vacuum cleaner then read the reviews here. Cancelled my order within 3 minutes, in line with my consumer rights, Aspirato refused, stating that the vacuum had already shipped within 3 minutes! Payment was still pending with my credit card company so they have cancelled it for me, avoid this brand.

I just purchased this ‘hoover’ on 25th June before a lot of these reviews were posted and I can only say that my experience has been identical. A product that is not fit for purpose, refusal to refund or even send me an address. I am now pursuing a refund through my credit card company. Please take notice of these reviews and completely avoid!

Agree with the others, its total rubbish and they won't give you any money back it's a CON!

I asked for a return which was IMPOSSIBLE because of the cost to send back the product TO CHINA. After lots of emails where I was asking to send back to France, THEY GAVE ME A FRENCH CUSTOMER ADRESS, EMAIL, PHONE NUMBER and ask me to send to this adress. I call just to confirm it was a real andtess and it was a customer who just placed an order. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY

Total Fraud!!! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
The vacuum is a weak, flimsy, toy. They pretend to be in UK (using a UK-sounding website). But are actually in China and expect you to return there.
And as others have noted there is no intention for them to help you or honour the 90-day return policy. They start by offering increasing % discounts - 10, 15, 20, 25% because: "Returning the product is a hassle because you need to send it back to China and we don't think both of us want it to happen."

USED TO BE STOVGER - AVOID
I was trying to get a full refund because this product is beyond rubbish - not only had the Hoover that they sent me been used it was cheap, flimsy, no power and the battery life is awful.. the company were begging me not to send it back offering me a second Hoover then offering me 50% refund. When I realised it was going to cost me nearly £100 to send back and there was no guarantee of me getting that money back. I agreed to 50% refund and they are now completely ignoring me. Steer clear BIG TIME. I am now pursuing through my bank to bring charges against the company who used to be called stovger - check their trustpilot review too

I am not at all happy with my Aspirato vacumn. It has very little suction. It is not fit for purpose as far as I am concerned, I could do a better job sucking up the bits with a straw! I have gone back to using my dust pan and brush on the few rugs that I own. It also runs out of battery incredibly quickly.

incredibly dissapointed so sent an email to the company and asked to send it back for a full refund. It cost £179.
They returned my email offering me 10 percent discount if I kept it and gave me a few tips for the Vacumn use.
I followed the tips and my opinion of its fit for use did not change. I returned an email asking for a larger refund as I would need to by a new Vacumn or alternatively a return address. The reply was similar to the review below. They offered me 15 percent refund and explained how costly it would be for me to return the item to CHINA.
I am very unhappy.
This is not a Vacumn it is jut a Vacumn shaped object . Aspirato are not sympathetic or helpful. DO NOT PURCHASE
