What to expect with Asprays from a customers perspective
From the initial contact with Iain Speedie at Asprays to the work being completed on my apartment, I have been incredibly impressed by the high level of customer service provided. Ian's attention to detail is such that the apartment is now at a standard higher than the specification it was before. He went above and beyond to source specific flooring types and a particular style of wallpaper which I had from many years ago. At all times he kept me up to date with the progress of the work. He was also on call constantly to allay any of my worries regarding some of the damage that had taken place and how it would be rectified. Moreover, he is a thoroughly pleasant guy to deal with given the stress I was under after the extensive water damage that had occurred to my home. I can't thank him enough for the fantastic service.

Underground water leak
After an underground water leak in our utility room Mark proved to be invaluable in managing a very unhelpful insurance company and contracting for the subsequent room removal, drying and refitting.
He had his finger on the pulse throughout the claim with timely and prompt interactions.

Awful situation made better by great service
If you are in the position of needing the services of Mark at Aspray, then do not think about it, just contact him. You will not be disappointed, actually you will be totally delighted, as we are. Mark was contacted due to our property flooding with sewerage, due to negligence at Thames Water. A horrible position to be in. After contacting Mark, we were able to then relax, stand back and leave it in Marks capable hands. He handled every thing from there and ensured that the work was carried out to the best of standards. Best of all, this is a free service.
Terrible communication. Had to chase for callbacks
I called and spoke to Sarah who asked me to send all of the details via email which I did. She didn't return my call on 3 occasions and said she needed time to look at my case and then said she couldn't help me as we were claiming through our builders insurance and they could only help with policy holder claims. This is completely misleading on your website. We are now back to square one. Terrible communication

Following a leak being identified I got in touch with Bill from Aspray to help guide me through this really worrying time. I was given details for a company to help identify the leak and they guided me through the process with my insurance company. From start to end they were on hand taking all the hassle of progressing the matter, even attending our home to liaise with the Halifax assessor. Superb service and definitely recommend them.

Asprey have been a complete god send since a leak from the flat above left our entire ceiling collapsed and damage to walls and floors. The flat had just been prepped to go on the market and thousands of pounds spent getting it ready.
Nicky took the reigns on everything and bought had the work carried out with no need for us to get involved at all. It cost us nothing and definitely saved us time and a whole lot of hassle having to deal with insurers and labourers etc.
Cannot recommend them enough it’s a brilliant service and if I’m unfortunate enough to need them again I wouldn’t hesitate to get in touch with Nicky.

Aspray's have been handling my claim in a very proactive and efficient manner and I am very happy with the work so far.
The work is not yet completed but given the progress to date, I have every confidence that I will be delighted with the reinstatement of my bathroom after a very destructive leak.
Terrific support after fire
Immediately after our house fire we felt lost and overwhelmed. Thank goodness we found a link to Aspray and Mario. Mario project managed the whole process, battled with the insurance company on our behalf and made the whole process a thousand times less stressful. If you’re having to make an insurance claim call Mario, he is amazing.
Highly Recommended
After my home was flooded from a burst pipe, I contacted Aspray for help with my insurance claim. Bill immediately arranged an appointment within a short time. He inspected the damage and was very helpful with his advice and guidance, giving me an accurate assessment of the figure I should expect from my insurers (he was right too!). Bill was more than happy to answer further queries for me via the phone afterwards too. He also kindly recommended some building contactors, one of which I selected to complete the restorations works. I would highly recommend Aspray.
Totally Brilliant
After a vehicle severely damaged my tenant's house I was struggling to even get started with the claim and had never heard of a loss assessor. The (big) insurance company just passed it off to loss adjusters who were impossible to get hold of. I felt I was at a huge disadvantage and heading for a disaster. I found Aspray and they just took over the same day. George simply told me to leave it to him. So I did. He was local and assessed the damage, dealt with the loss adjuster and insurance company, agreed the claim, arranged the work which included everything from relaying the wall to painting the hallway. He liaised with the tenants and supervised the work to the end keeping me and my tenants informed every step of the way. I felt completely reassured and very relieved. It was far quicker than I'd anticipated and the cost was covered in the claim. George, and Aspray, really fought my corner and they're very good at it.

Exceptional service from Aspray
Having suffered a significant fire in my garage, Aspray and in particular Andre Van der Walt were exceptional in dealing with the repairs including a new roof and door. I admit to being somewhat sceptical at first about the value that Apray could bring, especially without any cost to myself, but once signed up the service from Aspray and Andre was fantastic. They dealt with every element of the repair and the liaison with my insurance company. This is something that I am sure would have taken me many painful hours if I had been forced to do it myself, which was frankly the only option suggested by my insurer. This was all done at my convenience despite me having a busy job and not being available on frequent occasions. A huge thanks to Andre and the Aspray team for doing such a wonderful job.

Outstanding Service!
In early May 2022 we awoke in the wee hours of the morning to what sounded like a waterfall on our first-floor landing, which turned out to be a burst mains pipe embedded in the bathroom/hallway wall. Based on the time the electricity went out it was clear that water had been gushing from this burst pipe for at least two hours before we discovered it and as a result, the damage it caused was significant.
First thing in the morning I contacted Ian O'Neill at Aspray Glasgow West to seek his assistance with the imminent insurance claim. Ian responded immediately and was at the property by 10am that morning.
Ian’s absolute commitment to ensuring we received a fair and reasonable settlement, and that our home was fully reinstated to a high standard was both impressive and reassuring and doubtless helped us to avoid what would have otherwise been a highly stressful and potentially expensive situation.
The service Ian O’Neill and Aspray Glasgow West provided throughout was outstanding and I cannot recommend Ian and the team at Aspray Glasgow West highly enough and would encourage anyone needing to make an insurance claim for damage to their property, domestic or commercial, to contact Aspray Glasgow West now!
Very happy with the whole process
Aspray handled my insurance claim thoroughly well, and I'm incredible happy with the completion of repair work to our communal fencing after a car reversed through it. I would certainly recommend and use them again.
Terrible service and communication once contract was signed
My agent was recommended by a structural engineer and everything was great to begin with - she was very helpful, communicated a lot to get me to sign the contract. But since then I have to chase and chase her and can only assume she can't be bothered because my claim is too complicated and might not be paid out. I hired the loss adjustor for the very reason that this is not straight forward and I didn't want the ongoing stress of dealing with it. And I now have the stress of chasing and chasing the loss adjustor and the claim having virtually nothing done for 5 months. If you live in Kent don't bother with Aspray. I can only assume the good reviews are for other adjustors and I've been very unlucky!
