The team turned up on move out day early, prepared and smashed through the removal in rapid time. Likewise on the move in the team smashed through the removals in a really efficient way.

Right from the start it was a very easy process, with a video call on Skype to make an estimation of the job.
Then the dates were booked and the team came around and packed up all my things with great care.
The move in was also done very well.

The whole team at Astra were brilliant throughout the entirety of my move.

Right from the initial communication, the virtual assessment survey to the lads that turned up on the day for the pack up and drop off - both of which happened in absolutely atrocious weather.

Great experience all round; Jeffrey in the Office was excellent and communicated so well with us throughout the whole process. The team sent to do the physical removals were all friendly, professional and in good spirits. Can't fault the service at all. We ended up having several smaller vans rather than one big one, but this didn't hamper the moving process at all, as Astra Removals made sure that we had the vans containing the essentials (beds & mattresses!) arrive first, so the moving-in process at the other end was as stress-free as possible. Ricky's crew did all the packing and loading. They were meticulous with fragile items and very careful overall. After unloading, they unpacked some of the boxes per my request, treating them as though the items were their own. Then they came by three times to pick up empty boxes. Today I referred Astra Removals to a friend and then saw reviews on Trustpilot which in no way describe my experience. It's for that reason that I am repeating the review that I originally gave them. Driver was driving like a maniac in Wilton on Friday, wrong side of the road racing another van from same company, nearly caused a head on collision. Registration WV23RGY. Video has bee sent to the police.

Stuff was stolen. Owner could not have cared less. Had to get the police involved.

I would struggle to give 1 star to be honest. Company sent the wrong size truck and items got damaged and broken which didn’t bother the removal men at all. I was supposed to get sent a feedback form - that never arrived!
Terrible….
