E14 is exactly what you'd expect of a stockist with such a huge inventory... chances are they have what you need, naturally there's things you wish they did and they don't and there's the (frustratingly) inevitable "the computer says there's stock, but when we went looking for what you ordered, there's actually none..". The thing that makes them particularly nice for our far flung country though is their speed - (generally) next day delivery is very useful indeed!

As a design resource, I find myself relying on them more and more - both for suggestions of other similar/alternative parts, as a datasheet repository and as a technology awareness site. There are quite a few products I've designed using parts drawn only from their inventory or inspired by devices I've casually observed while filtering 1000's of MOSFETs (for example).

I would be sunk without their website and product range!

I've been buying components and tools from Element and have not had an issue with them being as described, shipped quickly and quick to arrive. Yes, their search engine needs a little work but once you understand their taxonomy it's not too bad.

Lots of things you can only get at element14 (unless you're ok with a massive mark-up). Since its a distributor of things, they tend to be as cheap as you'll find them. They're also remarkably fast, as long as the product is in stock (can be a little slow otherwise).

Great service and overnight delivery for parts in stock is always a winner
for keeping my customers happy about a quick turnaround for their repairs.Knowing some parts may take 5 days from overseas also keeps my customers happy rather than the 2-4 weeks some distributors quote.
I only wish they would keep a few more items in stock in Australia.

Quick service and delivery, but slightly more expensive than other large distributers in the market. Definitely a good choice if your business is in AU.

l have been using Element 14 for over 20 years and l cannot recall a problem. Very extensive range and reasonable freight rates.

I having been using Element 14 for years now and am very happy with service and speed of delivery. I have noticed that most parts i was able to get overnight are now a 6 day delivery as not much stock in Australia.

Ordering from online portal is a breeze. Detailed searchable specs allows the perfect choice for passives.
Delivery from Australian East Coast to West Coast is overnight.

Can't complain!

Order processed quickly and goods arrived so quickly considering I am on the opposite side of the country, a non-metro location and courier actually delivered to my door. (Most couriers don't deliver to my residence nor do Australia Post!) Especially as the freight cost was $0 for the size of my order I was very pleased with service.
One issue was one item (X 2)was on back order but they will have to come by road freight anyway and at no additional cost.
Other item was that one item ordered was supplied as a box full (X 12) but I was not charged for extra 11 so arranged for return again courier collected from my residence.

Very happy with their service. My only gripe is the postage charge for small items under $40 is pretty exorbitant. It doesn't cost $20 to post a single transistor!

fantastic customer service, with very fast and efficient shipping. element14 is my goto shop whenever i need parts as i usually receive my order in 1-2 days. i find element14 to be better priced then the other couple mainstream electronic distributors.

You can get the parts cheaper. Most other companies that are cheaper cannot match the overnight delivery. GREAT SERVICE
