Very fast (same day metro area) delivery, easy ordering..
You can find better prices somewhere else, but not the same service for the same money :)

I no sooner placed my order and we received a dispatched notice, was really impressed with the online purchase turnaround.
Though it is no real surprise as we have always received great service especially when we need to call their staff which are always on the ball.

Great now that they have fixed my delivery address problem,

Our business is not always direct, it has many indirect purchasers.

The order process was painless and the order arrived next day as promised.. The next time i ordered - same deal.
Although slightly more expensive than some other places they are certainly the quickest in dispatch times.

Quick service and delivery with great offers each month, but slightly more expensive than others in the market

My last order a couple of months ago was for Raspberry Pi - PiFace Digital2 IO and a PiFace Control and display, after two calls and a couple of emails including photos of the received products, I still have the two PiFace Digital 2's and no sign of the PiFace Control and display. Otherwise I am generally happy with the service.

Great selection, usually good service & local availability.

Two items needing addressing:
It used to be easier to see which items were next-day and 5-7 working days. Filtering on this criteria alone would be gold. I'll often be willing to pay several times as much for components, as long as I can get them pronto, so I don't see any incentive for E14 to obfuscate this data.

Occasionally orders placed before (sometimes several hours before) 6PM-Next Day Delivery cutoff aren't "confirmed" until the next day. This means Next Day Delivery becomes Next Day Dispatch, Day After-Next Delivery.

Got what I wanted, fast with ease.

I have bought a few items from Element14 and the experience has been a good one. The one time an order was not fulfilled correctly, I rang and the problem was resolved pretty much immediately.

While not the cheapest going around they have a massive product range ready for quick delivery.

Being a long time customer, for almost 30 years,I only have a couple of gripes.
I'm told by the reps, I could usually get better prices if I submit a parts list and wait a while. I prefer the "Better Prices" to be displayed as I generally have not the time or energy to spend shopping around. Please if you can give better prices, just display them!
And second, more and more stock seems to be from overseas so it takes longer to get here. That is a general problem, not just with Element 14.
Still, Element 14 is one of my main ports of call when I'm looking for parts.

Been a customer since the early Farnell days and have always found them to be a very "friendly" business to deal with, most efficient and normally overnight deliveries. However my last order took a week for items showing "In stock" Perhaps the web site could show "Local" stock levels not just global stocks ?

Got what we were after, got it quickly, and for a good price.

Excellent costumer service. Staff knows their product very well and answers my question professionally. They know what they're doin' there.

Super prompt shipping. Auto split order. Signature on receive option. Very cool. A+++. The range and stock levels are great. Specials are really specials. I would recommend this to anyone.
