I sold my family home this year that has been in the family for generations. It was a difficult decision however I felt completely at ease with the whole process with auction house Glasgow. Ross McGinley arrived at the property explained the process, was absolutely fantastic. He was exactly the type of person the family needed when handing over the property after all of those years. I don’t have a bad word to say about the service. When offers came through for the property, the negotiators which I believe there is two (George and Nicola) - both were very helpful in going over the offers received and again made the whole process feel a lot lighter. Thank you!

Made it through in the end but the Auction House employee who facilitated the purchase made me feel like he didn’t care at all and basically did the bare minimum through out the process. And of course they charge an exorbitant rate much higher than an estate agent for not doing much at all. Sad that much money went to them.

An incredibly easy and cost-effective way to sell a property, with very good customer service from Auction House Scotland.

Great experience working alongside this team. Mainly dealt with Ross and George and they couldn't have done more for me. Despite being a bit over ambitious over the price we might have hoped for, we found them an excellent company to deal with and would recommend them.

Commenting as a buyer, Auction House felt friendly and safe. The two most important criteria for me. I have deducted one star because a) it was not always easy to search the website and find the particular property I was following and b) it was not apparent to me that I had to re-register after the property was delayed to a later auction. a) and b) might say more about me than AH though.

Scam. They lure you in with 'national in person auctions and huge success stories with quick sales. They say they will put your property on the auction but dont. Then when you dont get on the auction and want to stop the process they hit you with a 'withdrawl fee' for marketing costs plus other fees.

I even tried to speak to the Director but was told they 'are too busy for phone calls'... all they did was put the flat on Rightmove and try sell it with exorbitant agent fees on the market not at an Auction... why? Because they dont want to ruin their stats that they wax lyrical about to lure you in on the first place...



What waste of time, energy & money.
