I can only reiterate what others have said. They are a very friendly bunch who explained every single aspect in simple and easily understandable terms, and communicated regularly to keep me in the loop, before, during, and after the sale. I will certainly recommend them to others. 100%.

A pleasure to deal with , they are helpful and communicate well but of most importance - their advice is good : a pre auction offer was received which exceeded the reserve but they advised against accepting it judging that a better price would be achieved at auction given their assessment of the strength and reliability of the interest. They were right, the sale price achieved considerably exceeded the offer!

I would really recommend this auction house. Chris Jackson who was really friendly kept me fully informed from start to finish. Also his colleague Stephen Schofield was also of great help.

I have previously bought through the Auction House, so i have full confidence in them as a whole. But since the change of going on line to bid, i have needed extra TLC. I have called them so many times, to confirm, if i am doing the right thing etc and they have been so friendly, so patient with me, especially Stephen. You are great at your job, i can imagine you get some demanding people expecting the world, but i so appreciate you, giving me the confidence and help when needed, i am on the right path. Ps thanks to the lady whom also has patience and Chris, who was very helpful too.

I was passed onto Auction House West Yorkshire by my estate agent as my property was not suitable for a normal sale, due to its condition. Stephen and Jon were my points of contact and managed all aspects of the process of sale from arranging my EPC, brochure, house viewings, giving feedback from viewings etc. and all the way through to the auction itself on 14/12/22. I was very impressed with how they supported and helped me throughout, which was most appreciated as I did not have any prior knowledge or experience of house selling by auction. I felt that they went the extra mile for me as they provided meter readings several times that I required for my energy provider, as I was unable to get them myself due to living in Buckinghamshire. I was most grateful for this and not having to make a special journey up to Yorkshire to do this saved me both a lot of money and time.
I would thoroughly recommend Auction House West Yorkshire to anyone who is selling a property that requires a sale by auction.

I bought I property through AHWY in Dec 2022. Easy viewing with helpful viewer. Good communication with AHWY office staff in the run up to auction to try to make an offer prior to auction (which didn’t get accepted). The house was taken to the room and luckily I was the successful bidder. The team were quick to confirm exchange, take payment and issue documents so that conveyancing could start as it only had a 14 day completion. I prefer AHWY to many of the other national auction houses as they really know the area, communicate well and don’t tend to allow ridiculous additional fees, although this property did come with £3k of extras by the time I’d paid a buyer premium, a buyer fee and the seller’s search costs, then add auction fee, stamp duty and legal costs! But this is always clearly listed out in the legal packs. Thanks AHWY for a great service, i would highly recommend.

The professionalism, service and price achieved by West Yorkshire Auction House in their 14th December auction more than exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

Chris said he had a list of property developers/ builders to buy this property….
Steven explain they did not …
No viewings. No bids . No sale …
Chris tells lies and waffles…
Beware….. now my property has a red mark against it online …as unsold ……bad news …

What a waste of time…
The only advertising they do is put your property on Rightmove.
And they charge you £250 or £500 for this plus 2% including taxes on the sale price ..
Full of promise then full of waffle….
Avoid…
Ring round estate agent’s in the area as no one has a good word about how Chris works …
He agrees a high reserve price then as no marketing is done so no response they want to lower the sales price
I had no sale as not one viewing, not one bid ..just a load of waffle…
