improved sound quality but mobile data issues

There is a definite improvement in sound quality compared to my previous sim with virgin Mobile
However I had great problems with mobile data which could not be connected whilst abroad. Despite the efforts of the tech team nothing could be done. Another issue was the lack of technical support at weekends.
The staff are extremely pleasant and try to be helpful. The Chief Tech officer called me personally. You would not find this with larger network companies. Problem disappeared on return to uk. Fingers crossed for future trips!

Poor or no signal

Help has been good, but although the EE web site gives me a 4G coverage with 4 bars I cannot get a signal in my house. Even outside it can only 1 bar which drops out. No solution to improve this have been given to date.

Great idea

A great idea. They have a really useful Sound Check tool on the website which gives you a hearing test and shows you how the service works for those with hearing difficulties. Worth checking out!

It works but you need a good mobile signal morning

Concept of the improved hearing was great
Unfortunately the mobile signal from sim in my area is poor so couldn't make use of it.

Sound quality

Also the helpline people are pleasant and helpful and my first months bill was less than expected. Highly recommended.

Good experience so far

Great idea 💡 that really works !

At last I can hear people on the other end of the phone so clearly - I wear 2 hearing aids and I've tried so many different phones to try and hear the calls more clearly: but theres no need now - just use the audacious sim in ANY phone . It's a great idea that really works.

At long last help for the hard of hearing

I must admit I was dubious at first, but decided to give the taster a go and am I glad I did, what a difference, okay it is not a miracle cure but at least I can hear and have a descent conversation at last, as in the past my brain gave up after a couple of minutes on the phone and I was for ever asking the person on the other end to repeat numerous times. Now I can hear much better and to be able to retake your hearing test whenever you want as your hearing deteriorates is a bonus, may not help everyone but me I'm in heaven.

What an innovative concept and pretty…

What an innovative concept and pretty good value too. I found the sign-up process to be straightforward and the SIM card arrived promptly. I've spoken to a couple of different customer service agents and found them to answer the phone quickly, and to be knowledgeable and courteous. The sound quality of the calls is noticeably better so their promises are true!
Overall - a very happy customer.

Clever and clear

How clever! It really does give me clearer-sounding calls that are easier to hear. If you're after better clarity or volume, then definitely worth trying this service before you resort to testing out new handsets.

Is all pretty easy. You sign up, get an Audacious SIM card, put it in your phone. You do a short (and interesting) 'sound check', and then your calls are automatically adjusted so the sound coming through the handset is suited to your personal hearing.

That's it. It's a neat way to get boosted sound quality on whatever mobile phone you have.

The Audacious SIM card has helped me to…

The Audacious SIM card has helped me to change my phone call habits. I have always held my phone to my left ear, put the volume on full, or change it to loud speaker. Now, with the better quality of sound, I can use my phone on my left and right ear, without having to put the volume up. This, I feel, should be available to all mobile phone customers.

Audacious SIM Card

Audacious is a fantastic and inclusive idea to help the 11m people in the UK with a hearing loss. It’s incredibly easy to set up and the difference in sound quality is astonishing. I only realised after using an Audacious SIM how calls on a mobile could, and should, sound. The technology can revolutionise the experience of using mobiles for people with a hearing loss and I would thoroughly recommend them.

I’ve struggled with Hearing all my…

I’ve struggled with Hearing all my life, I have Tinnitus and 43% hearing. One thing I find very difficult is telephone conversations as I can’t hear all of the conversation and it’s very patchy for me. Audacious quite simple have solved this for me and us. With a quick online test to see what the strengths and weaknesses are with my hearing it then adapts the frequency of the sound that unique to you to you’re mobile so your call becomes clearer.
