Refund Denial After accidental Install

My wife wanted to try the app on the family plan. She hadn't realised she'd tried it once before. As soon as she went to install it, it instantly charged our account. We don't have money for this so we asked for a refund. After days of back and forth with Apple and Aura we were denied and told it was not feasible.

Not a chance to talk to a human being, just some abmient and faceless digital interaction. This hasn't made our mental health any better. We should have stuck with Insight Timer which is more customer forward and has business practices more attuned to mental health instead of commerce. Very dissapointing.
All in all, not worth spending £60 a year for.

Great Customer Service

I signed up on the trial and used it. However, I can’t afford it st the moment. When I was billed for the year, i asked to cancel. Customer service was so helpful. I will get it back when my medical expenses level off.

Aura changed my life!

Hello, my name is Jane. I have worked in Natural Medicine after suffering a spinal injury and began studying a Science Degree, over 35 years ago! Eleven years ago, I got breast cancer and retired and moved north to QLD, Australia. I used Aura during my Chemotherapy and decided to become a premium member. I have meditated daily with Aura for 2850 days which is nearly 8 yrs! Aura is amazing value for money and I have experienced its growth over the years. My day starts with the quote " Be kind whenever possible... it is always possible" Dalai Lama! I have many playlists I have developed for sleep, anxiety, joy, pain, friendship, family and so on! I can access Meditation, ASMR, Series, Coaching, Hypnosis, Emotions, Sounds, Therapy Breath work, Music, Programs, Series, New and Popular issues, Sound Healing and Podcasts, Health Coaching Favourites, Challenges, ... seriously what more would I want? I have tried a few other apps but none compared to the detailed and relevant information that Aura brings to my life. I have built resistance, understanding, love for myself, I sleep better, I'm calmer, and genuinely feel really happy and grateful!
I would be so sad to not have Aura in my life. The team at Aura are always there to help, a email away. I recently wrote to them to thank the team for providing me with such a great tool for my mental and physical health. Sincerely thank you!

Try it, you'll like it.

I have never been a good sleeper even with my sleep medication. Aura has sleep stories. Really!! I want to learn how to meditate. Aura has meditations at any level. Oh and Yoga too! And Music....

Worth using

Worth using! Highly recommend.
I suspect that some of the 1 star reviews are mistakenly reported for another company with the same name who offers identity protection services.
THIS Aura app is for wellness and has helped me relax and sleep better, and reduce anxiety over the past several months of use.

I have recently started using the app…

I have recently started using the app and have found it to be quite useful. I feel that while it may lack certain aspects that you may find in HeadSpace or Calm, there are still a lot of positives. My only critique at the moment is there should be more accessible ways to cancel your subscription or change them rather than having to email, however that being said, the customer support team was extremely prompt and helpful. Ellora replied to my email and made the required adjustments, I was very impressed and look forward to my journey with Aura Health!

Do not download this app! Like all your one star reviews I feel totally fooled by this app. My bank account shows 129€ charged and I seem to have no way of contacting this company. My first thought was that I had been charged twice and even before the “free trial” was over. I am now deleting it and will be down 129€. A most expensive lesson.

Reliable, calming support for sleep and mindfulness

I’ve been using the Aura Health app on and off for about four years, mainly for sleep sounds and guided meditations. It’s been a consistent, calming tool whenever I need help winding down at night or resetting during a stressful day.

The variety of content—from nature sounds to sleep stories to quick breathing exercises—makes it easy to find something that works in the moment. I also like that it’s not overly pushy with notifications or upsells like some wellness apps.

I’ve noticed some reviews mentioning poor customer support, but personally I haven’t had any negative experiences. On the few occasions I reached out, responses were reasonable and helpful.

One suggestion: it would be great if they offered the ability to pause a subscription during breaks. Since I tend to use it in waves depending on what’s going on in life, more flexible billing options could make it even easier to stick with long-term.

If you’re looking for a flexible app for sleep and mindfulness that you can dip in and out of as needed, Aura is worth trying.

Terrible customer service! Scam

Terrible customer service. Signed up for a free trial and they took $129 off of me without warning. I asked to have this refunded and they have ignored my emails and been very vague. A lot do people have had similar issues so clearly this is a scam.

Amazing customer service

Amazing customer servic! Had some issues with my account and was handle professionally and efficiently.

Its hard to find good customer service these days but was pleasantly surprised with the aura team.

Many contributors and impressive library of focused guided meditations.

This app has been incredibly helpful. While I’ve seen some negative reviews, my personal experience with their customer service has been nothing but positive—efficient, prompt, and courteous. The app itself is feature-rich, offering a wide range of tools for various needs. I use it daily for sleep meditations, relaxing music, and calming soundscapes.

At one point, I was mistakenly charged for a family plan, but after reaching out, I received an immediate refund with no hassle. I was genuinely impressed by how smoothly it was handled.

Overall, I truly love this app—it’s made a noticeable difference in my mental well-being. Highly recommended!

My card was fraudulently charged!

I don't remember downloading this app at all...but it's entirely possible since I do DL a lot of apps to go thru & find the one I want.

However, I am 100% positive that I never signed up for a subscription with Aura Health...so WHY does my bank acct show a $69.99 charge from AH?🤔 My Apple subs list shows that not only am I not currently subscribed...but I've NEVER been subscribed to Aura at all! It doesn't exist on my sub list.

Also, this was charged to MY debit card, the one we don't use. We only use my husband's card online~to prevent fraud showing up on both cards at the same time. That'd leave us stuck with no debit card while waiting for 2 new ones in the mail!

I am absolutely furious! Every time either of us gets a new debit card, it's not long before some random fraud charges show up! WTF?!? We just got new cards a few months ago...this cycle of "fraud on acct--we get new cards--repeat" is completely UNacceptable!!!

Now we have this fraudulent Aura Health charge on my card...along with 6mos of fraudulent charges on my husband's card from a well-known scammer company~ Total Adblock! (we already had fraudulent charges from them in the past & reported them to our bank...now they're back!?!?!) So we'll be without a debit card once again.😖 Super frustrating...& illegal! HOW do they keep getting away with this???

Please be cautious about even downloading this app. Looks like I'm just one of many who've had fraudulent charges from AH.

I bought a week's trial via Instagram…

I bought a week's trial via Instagram for £2.00 but my bank called me within minutes to say that AURA had tried to take £52.83 from my account with forecast renewal of the same amount to be taken each month. Card now been blocked. Please avoid at all costs. It is a SCAM.
