Engagement ring

Ordered an engagement ring, with a specific diamond in mind. Initially was impressed with customer service and communication, but once the ring arrived was left disappointed. Firstly, the claws weren't symmetrical. Got sent away and rectified, fair enough. Once it came back I checked the certificate and turns out the diamond was not the one I specifically ordered. (Both issues I pointed out myself upon collection by the way, not by the store).
Turns out the diamond I wanted was no longer available, so they chose a different one without informing me. The ring itself was beautiful and well made, just let down by how things turned out.

We have looked into your order details and can see you were in correspondence with your sales representative regarding a few diamond options. The one that was settled on unfortunately sold out before our diamond department were able to successfully purchase. As diamond are purchased on a live market globally unfortunately another company managed to secure the diamond before we did. In these instances our diamonds department update our customer sales representatives to discuss alternative options of the next best option based on your chosen specifications.
On this occasion however I cannot see any corespondance between departments and yourself leading to the conclusion that this was unfortunetelty missed and a replacement was selected without your approval. We do sincerely apologise about this lack of communication and can understand your frustration.
Your new diamond matches the exact specification of your original but we can understand that customers would like to give the final approval or at least be notified.

We are however pleased to hear you appreciate your final item and enjoyed your service received from the showroom.

Once again we apologise for the situation and the way that you feel towards Austen and Blake. Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us.

Newcastle Eldon store & service

We worked with Hazel in the Newcastle Eldon store to custom make a wedding ring to match my partners - The service was efficient and got us exactly what we needed and the ring itself was gorgeous. Hazel was incredibly helpful and communicative throughout the process and kept us up to date, she was also very friendly and informative which we both really appreciated. Quick turnaround and overall fantastic experience, would recommend.

Fab experience with Hazel, will be back!

Me and my partner went in to buy a ring together, we had already seen the one we wanted on the website and Hazel was so friendly and professional and even got some different styles for me to try on and see what I preferred. The ring I wanted wasn't available and with the style I was hoping to have an idea of what it would look like on given the shape of it so Hazel had a very similar one I could try on. We also got my ring measured and good job too as the size we thought I was, I wasn't.
We picked it up about 2-3 weeks later and made sure it fit well and we were happy with it, it was Hazel we had again and once again she was professional, friendly and just really lovely in general, even to receive an email afterwards to congratulate us on the soon to be engagement, she also went through the insurance with me which was very helpful.
We are now engaged and I'm loving my ring and super happy with the service we received from A&B and we will definitely be back for our wedding bands!

Bespoke Ring

5 Star Experience

Austen and Blake Newcastle were absolutely brilliant and went above and beyond to make sure the engagement ring which I picked for my now fiancé was perfect. I initially chose a different size and band of engagement ring which I quickly found out was not exactly the style she wanted, which proved to be absolutely no problem for Hannah and the amazing A&B team. Hannah quickly arranged for me to pop into the store and choose another ring. Even with 3 weeks before our trip away to pop the big question, the team worked to get the ring to me before the week we travelled. Absolutely amazing. Thank you to Hannah and the team in Newcastle, I cannot stress how amazing my experience was and the quality of ring too. Absolutely recommend

Great staff and beautiful ring.

The staff in Branch were excellent they explained the whole process and timescales, there was a friendly no rush feeling about the experience. I was kept up to date with expected delivery times as well as the collection, the collection went seamlessly and before the expected date which was excellent. The after care emails have also been a good source of knowledge and support. The staff even took the time to explain other bespoke options in relation to a pair of earrings I was interested in. Hopefully it’s not too long before my next purchase..

Great service and really friendly staff and a beautiful ring

I chose to design my own ring on Austen & Blake's website, really easy to do and a great step by step service. I opted to pick the ring up in store to make sure I kept everything secret and the staff were fantastic! Very welcoming and explained everything to me about the ring, the included documentation, what happened if I needed any resizing work and cleaning. The ring looked amazing and my now fiancée couldn't be happier with it. Even the presentation box it came in was amazing quality and looks stunning! (If not a little difficult to keep hidden as it was quite large)
