Having recently been a litigant in person in Schedule 1 proceedings, I booked an hour consultation to review the judgement handed down. Abigail met me quickly and provided sound advice moving forwards. Really helpful to seek another opinion, there was no pressure for further instruction, and it didn't cost the earth.

My Austin Kemp Family Law solicitor had many years of experience and was broadly helpful through the process but her experience was outdated and she made some very costly errors including errors in forms submitted which ended up extending the process and costing a LOT more in time, stress and cost. SA did not advise me well of all the latest processes for digital communication with the courts which I believe also extended the process and increased cost. I DO NOT recommend SA or Austin Kemp - total cost result was 2-3 times national average. Recommend to seek a more modern solution such as Amicable, Divorce Surgery or consider the forthcoming separatespace once live

I used Austin Kemp Divorce Solicitors to handle my divorce, which was handled by Keith Wivell. And thinking back sometimes it looked endless, as if it was never going to be completed, but that was not Keith‘s fault. The fault lies with my ex-wife. She made it very hard for things to be sorted out. She fought me every step of the way through from retrieving personal items, selling the house to sorting out my Private Pension, but I finally got things sorted. i used Austin Kemp for my Divorce , my case was handled by Keith Wivell. Unfortunately i began divorce proceedings during Covid which meant it was longer and felt more complicated . My ex Husband did make things quite difficult too. But Keith was professional at all times and most importantly i felt he was sensitive to my situation . I communicated via email in the main but when things were more complicated i scheduled in a teams call usually taking approx 15- 30 mins .
