I was very unsutisfied by that company

I was very unsutisfied by that company. I paid for addittional insurance, but car rental company required me to pay extra 75eur for insurance (

2nd problem. I paid for better car, but car rental company gave me older and cheaper car (instead of minicouper - old audi 1)

Next time I am going toi rent a car directly in car rental agencies and do not use such middle layer services (

Very bad service

Very bad service. Contractual conditions of Auto Escape did not match rental conditions of car rental company. Won't use them again.

Don't use this company !

Rented a Mercedes C cabriolet and prepaid everything - 1.721.46 euro.

The car was very nice and present for the time of rental - and the desk personnel was very nice and polite. So no problem yet.

However - even though everything was included according to the voucher, they told us, that the insurance was not good enough, and they advised to get 'absolutely fully covered' for 'only 13 euros pr. day.

Sadly we agreed to that.

No problems during the rental period of 19 days (had to refill with 'Add Blue' though), no damages at all.

When we returned the car, we were told, that everything was absolutely fine, and no problems.

But when we returned home, the company suddenly withdraw 456,90 euro, which was not near the agreed amount.

They charged us 20 euros pr day for the insurance.

They added 15 euros surcharge, which is clearly included due to the voucher.

And they claimed, that we just prepaid 1.636,96 euro instead of the 1.721,46 euros, that they draw from my account.

All in all at least a discrepancy of more than 233 euros.

Off course, I called them - three times - but got no understanding, and also I've mailed them three times, with no answer.

So right now, they claim, that they will answer in appr. 8 weeks - but this answer might just be a 'no' to all, and what then.

My voucher nr. is 12821957, if the company reads this and should feel the need to answer.

Thanks for your answer, which however does not help me.
Your local supplier states, that they will not answer before 6-8 weeks !!!!
Is this reasonable ?
And if they choose just to say 'no' - then what ?

Fact still stands, that you have withdrawn a considerable amount, that was not agreed upon !

All is a lie once you get to the car …

All is a lie once you get to the car rental company they charge you extra per everything, like 50€ rent become 250€ and once there yo have no choice to cancel.

Double cost

I rented a car from Budget through Auto Europe in Malaga this summer. The final bill came to double of what I thought I booked for on the Auto Europe website. I added no extras upon picking up the key (although they tried to push it on me, believe me). The customer service-department dissmissed my complaints. Will never use them again.

Always the best choice and best price, with an excellent additional insurance coverage (excess refund) wherever I rented a vehicle in Europe, Africa or South America.

Auto Europe not helping terrible service

we are picking up a car from inter rent which we booked through auto Europe. They have a ticketing system and the queue is hours long everyone is sitting or standing glumly. The staff are rude the boss refuses to help he's just sitting there. One worker has just left even though people have been waiting hours. We called auto Europe to cancel our booking as we don't want to wait 3 plus hours in the airport. Auto Europe who we have a contract with have refused to cancel it even though the law states it is what is reasonable and waiting 3 hours plus is not reasaobable when they do not have enough staff. We called auto Europe who promised to call back so far no luck. Auto Europe you should not use inter rent as a supplier the boss clearly does not want to do his job and the company is a shambles.
