Hidden costs
I just booked a car, to be picked up at Heathrow and dropped off at Gatwick. Nowhere did it say prior to booking that there would be an additional charge of 41GBP on top of the "Total price" advertised price until the booking went through and it appeared very clearly on the voucher.
We all know there are one-way drop-off charges, it´s standard. Auto Europe know how much they are. So why not be up front about it and include them in the offer price?
The 2 star rating is because this booking is now going to be cancelled, needless to say, and AE don´t charge for cancellations. Otherwise it would´ve been a 1 star rating.

Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry that we could not assist you with a suitable booking price. When you need to collect and return a vehicle to different locations the system flags this as a 'one way hire'.
In most cases the suppliers will need to apply a fee for this, our website has a pop up message box that alerts you to this rule. The message states that once the locations have been selected the one way fee will be advised.
I will ensure that our feedback is passed to the online team, so that they can look at making this message clearer at the time of booking.
