Cheap Car Hire.??? Debatable.
Easy to use web Page and you know what you are getting.
Second occasion to book had a problem with Stansted Airport and flight arrival of 23,30. would not accept the reservation. Also at Stansted Airport the main car hire companies are in the Car Village a free bus is provided to get there. Auto Europe have not corrected their info, still states collect Airport. Often booking with airlines works out cheaper.

An ok basic service
This is a website. How can I possibly think it is anything but ok. There is nothing special about a website though I did not like being told that the "free changes and amendments" actual means no changes possible within 48 hours of collecting the car. Another con from another con artist?

i just rented yesterday in Malaga (spain) a car through autoeurope.es website. i was going to Almería (220kms, and founded a car for 40 euros, fair price even if the distance is short). i complete all the process and pay online. and right after the payment, autoeurope informs me that i have to pay 80 euros extra before taking my car in Malaga because i give back the car in another city than Malaga....
They must have informed me of this amount before my payment, not after.
so i consider this is a complete racket.
i rent cars very often in all Europe, with all different kind of rental services and nothing similar happened to me.
i would never ever again use Auto europe...obviously, and advise you to do so..

we try to be as transparent as we can on our website by showing the One Way fee for each car rental during the booking process BEFORE SUBMITTING THE PAYMENT.
You can check yourself on our website, that on the first booking step our customers are warned about possible One Way fees if they introduce different pick-up and drop-off locations.
In the second booking step, after choosing a car rental offer, our customers can find the amount of the One way fee at the top of the screen. They can also read, where do the customer has to pay the this fee. Please feel free to check for yourself on our website. If you cannot find it, please let us know. We will send you a screenshot to the email address you want.

Avoid this company!
Looks as if they try to charge a (small) scratch that almost certainly was there already.
Just didn't see it in their dark & unattend parking, unlike other issues that should have been seen by their own personal already! Extremly disappointing!
