Aurora, our service representative was extremely helpful and courteous. I recommend booking directly from Autovia and not through a third party, such as Bookings.com, which we did, as their policies are ridiculous and non sensical. The vehicle was booked under my shortened name i.e. Dave instead of David on my driver’s license and Autovia was forbidden by Bookings.com to release the vehicle. Bookings.com refused to make the correction and forced us to cancel the booking at a 50% charge which they refused to reverse stating that we had to cancel 2 hours before pickup. We were on a plane from Rome at the time and had no knowledge we would be faced with the name fiasco. We could not cancel within the allotted time because we were in flight and expired when we arrived to pickup the car, could not change the name because of their policy and got stuck with the penalty. We are active travelers and will never use Bookings.com ever again. Aurora tried to help us with Bookings.com but all our efforts fell on deaf ears. Autovia is great, however, and we will use them again. :)

Very friendly staff, especially Aurora. Didn’t push the insurance upcharges on us. We were served quickly and with no hassle despite a very busy September travel season. Car was clean and met our needs. We were quickly on our way to enjoy our holiday destination.

Very friendly, did not try to sell insurances I did not need. Car almost new and in good condition, free upgrade, though it is a mixed blessing to drive a large car in southern Italy :-)
Return fast and without problems, signalization of the return position could be clearer

Everything worked out fine. We ordered a SEAT but got only a FIAT 500 XL. No big deal. Pickup and return was flawless, I´d recommend Autovia and would book with them again.
