The website says "ethically produced", but the package came straight from China. Bought a "waterproof" ring that lost its color in two weeks. Got a replacement, and it's basically the same ring, b... See more

False advertising and poor quality
False advertising and poor quality – do not trust this brand
I purchased earrings from Avaria after reading on their website that their products are “high quality” and backed by a lifetime color warranty. The truth is very different. The earrings tarnished after just a few days of use — not once, but twice, since I already went through one replacement.
This is not a matter of bad luck or a single defective item. It clearly shows that the products are not what the company advertises. The quality is extremely poor, and it feels like customers are being misled into believing they are buying something authentic, when in reality it is not.
To make matters worse, Avaria refuses to issue a refund, even though the problem is clearly on their side. They insist on offering replacements, which is pointless since the issue happens again and again.
I am writing this review as a warning to others: do not trust the marketing claims on their website. What you will receive does not match the description, and the company does not stand behind its promises.
My original order was fine
My original order was fine. So placed another order. But was sent tracking number and it was supposedly out for delivery. Then I got a txt saying delivery was held up. Numerous emails have gone back and forth but am still without my goods and they have my money. STAY CLEAR. It is now 3rd September. Avaria jewellery replied to say they have resent the order and would send tracking number. But not had this. Still not received my order.

My order never arrived, poor customer service
My order never arrived. I had about 12-15 emails back and forth with customer service. They finally said they’d start the refund, but nothing ever came through so I to had to take it up with Affirm. It’s been nearly 2 months and I still haven’t received my refund
Quality of product is cheap and flimsy
Quality of product is cheap and flimsy.
In my case, the bracelet didn't fit and it took me over 3 weeks to get the appropriate response to be able to return it.
Their website states returns are free, however I was told to return product to Manchester England, which will cost about half the price of the product. I would avoid this website!!
AVOID!!
AVOID!!! SCAM SITE!!
They pretend to be a US brand, package shipped from China.. Horrible, cheap, costume jewlery. The "ethically sourced gemstone" that was supposed to be amethyst was a badly painted, badly glued piece of plastic/gravel/metal. The layering necklace, advertised as 3 chains in 1 fastening came as 3 chains. I have no doubt these items will fall apart at first use. They look cheap and feel cheap. I have a suspicion they are buying positive reviews because no grown person would think this is good quality. AVOID!!!!

Bracelet snapped
I bought 4 pieces (3rings, 1 bracelet). Jewellery was aesthetically okay but bracelet snapped within 2 months. They do not respond to any contact, I've emailed twice. They also delete any comments you make on their social media ads if you don't just praise how great their Jewellery is.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM
DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! I'm trying my hardest to believe that I will get my package because I know that getting a refund from them won't likely happen. Their website states that they are stateside and use USPS for shipments. So I trusted their shipment times posted on their site. However, I ordered a month ago and my shipment information still hasn't updated! It says my package is in China. Any time I email them about it, the shipment info magically changes the dates and times but not the location. It feels like a SCAM!!!!

Do not order
Do not order, they ship from China. I placed my order a month ago and still have not received it and when I contact them they just tell me to wait. They are deceiving and dishonest
First off they sent the wrong size of…
First off they sent the wrong size of bracelets, purchased four bracelets 7 1/2 received 7 in. tried to return. Emailed the company they sent me an address to return them to package was returned back to me. No such address. Be careful with this company. I’m out $74.
Do not buy their jewelry
Do not buy their jewelry. I bought 4 pieces. Two out of the four was broken. They wouldn’t refund my money until they received the items. The products come from out of country and they want tracking which cost 80 dollars . That is where they get you. So they won’t refund the money. Do NOT BUY . The other two pieces looks so cheap… I mean very cheap. I wanted to return everything. I lost money. They are crooks and selling poor quality jewelry. STAY AWAY!
Do. Not. Order. From. This. Company.
*Not tarnish free like it’s stated, and not lifetime guarantee either!!* I ordered 2 bracelets and both have changed colors and smell like old pennies. Old nasty loose change. Worried about the toxic metal of copper or nickel in it with such the strong odor of cheap jewelry that also broke my arm out into a rash.
I had high hopes for this brand, but at the end of the day… it’s just your typical cheap costume jewelry that they’re slapping a decent price tag on. Please ship elsewhere and avoid Avaria at all costs.

I want to return my items for a return
I want to return my items for a return. Avaria told me to ship them from New York to Manchester, England, to get a return. Are you kidding me? You have no return department in the US?
They claim free Returns!!!
They claim free Returns!!!! You have to pay for shipping when your item probably cost half of what the shipping cost is is that what they call free returns.
I call it fraud and reporting them

Tarnished after a month
Bracket tarnished in less than a month and necklace broke after a couple of wears. Items have still not been replaced

Shipping time inaccurate
I ordered 5 necklaces for $100 on 4/30/25, and was told it takes 8-14 days for items to arrive. I was hoping to wear them on my vacation in May. It's now over 31 days and I'm still waiting. I emailed them twice, when it went over 14 days, and then again when it went over 30 days. On the 1st inquiry I was told there's a slight delay due to our local postal service. On the 2nd inquiry I was then told a bunch of shipment was lost by USPS. They will send a replacement to me free of charge and I can keep the other items since it may still arrive. I'm starting to get a feeling I may have just been robbed. I hope I'm wrong, but this certainly doesn't give me confidence in this company one bit.

I have given this company 1 star now …
I have given this company three stars because I purchased two rings from them which were too small. Unfortunately I had deleted quite a few emails, one of them being my order . When I contacted them, and asked for replacements ,despite giving them all relevant info, email address, even sending them a photo of the rings in the original box, they kept fobbing me off , asking for the same information I had already given them, and stating that they could not locate an order from me in their system. How is it possible to send me these rings unless I was in their system???
In the box there was no order slip with order no and refund status as is usual in other companies’ packages.
I have asked for either replacements having now given the correct diameter of rings or refund, and address, but still no helpful response.
I just wondered whether anyone else had had a similar experience?
1/6.(edited since above)
As everyone can see , below is their response to this email, asking me exactly the same questions , even to the extent of asking me to send them a picture of the box ! You will observe than in my original review above I had already sent them everything that they had asked before.
How, in the name of sanity can this firm
pretend that they have addressed this problem?
Come on guys, either send me replacements or refund me. You DON’T need my order no, I am on your system . You are not doing yourself any favours for potential customers checking you out with this disgraceful state of affairs . I will also expose this in social media if need be!!!!
3/6 This is beginning to look like a blog, because they haven’t responded to my requests , so no address to return and no response at all .Avaria, as I have no Instagram , why not trying an email which you were using before. I wait to have a comment from you below !!!!!!!!

Very disappointing.
Negative five (-5) stars for truth in advertising, authenticity of descriptions and quality of materials.
3.5 stars for cute jewelry design.
I ordered four pairs of earrings on the special Mother’s Day Sale. What could possibly go wrong with paying only $87 for FOUR pairs of beautiful "Ethically sourced Gold plated s925 Sterling Silver, Water, Sweat, and Heat Resistant” earrings? Well unfortunately one of the four pairs was totally defective with the fake diamond strip detached from one of the pair and glued on crooked on the second of the pair and beginning to detach, which emphasized how cheaply constructed they were. The other three pairs look adorable but it was very clear that they are NOT gold plated or water resistant. They are very cheaply made but nicely designed sets.
I wrote to the company and provided a photo of the defective pair. I explained that I wanted a full refund for the defective pair and a discount for all of the items as they are clearly not what was advertised. I received an automated response saying they always reply within 48 hours. Within 48 hours, they did respond saying that they would give me a 30% discount, or I could pay to return them, but I would have to send them to the UK (I am located in the US as is the company).
I replied to this with a final offer, I would pay $10 per non-defective pair, so a total of $30 and receive a refund of $57 or file a fraud claim with my credit card. To which I received no response for a few days, so I filed a fraud claim and supplied receipts including photos and email correspondence. Several days later the company informed me that they would be crediting me $57, which they now have done, so I am guessing my credit card company reached out to them.
I do like the aesthetic of their cheap costume pieces very much! But even with their big “sale” they are greatly overpriced. In addition I believe the inaccurate advertising claims are actually fraudulent. Very disappointing.

Never again
I ordered a ring which arrived without any tags and completely the wrong size. Contacted customer service and I have to pay to return it to the States despite it being their fault, was given 2 other options 30 per cent refund and keep the item I can’t wear or 50 per cent of the value in store credit, which would mean me spending more money with them which I definitely don’t want to do. So now they have my money and I have an item I can’t use !!!
Do not buy from them
Do not buy from them. What you see is not what you get. Customer services is not great! No live ppl to talk to. And they don’t stand behind their products. You end up getting stuck with items you can’t use plus the cost!! I purchased 3 items and they gave me a pair of earrings for free. When I received them only one item was what it appeared to be in the photo. And the free earrings were awful. I understood why it was free. I am not even gonna talk about the delivery. Trust me on this don’t waste your time or money
