The flight was delayed by two hours. There were no announcements and we had to wait just on floor.

Shame for Eurowings. They are using Avion Express, this pure company do not provide enough space for legs, i can't stand it!

One of the worst cabin crew experiences ever. On flight VJ282 (SGN-HPH, Feb 21), the Avion Express crew was extremely unprofessional and rude. Instead of guiding passengers, they were barked orders and used inappropriate hand gestures. They were incredibly noisy, with the constant clattering of high heels throughout the cabin. This crew needs serious retraining to meet basic aviation standards. Totally unacceptable!

The worst company i have ever seen ,the seat is so close you can't even move your hand

It has been our first flight with Avion today to Malta. I was scared about the reviews, but I have to say, that cabin crew was friendly and everything was okay. A bit cold in the cabin, but that’s nothing serious. Even my wife said, that she would fly with Avion again.

Horrible experience, the most uncomfortable and tight sits. Horrible flight , theres no place to move even a tiny bit and im not that tall( 178 cm) .

Old planes that haven't been maintained properly. The plane had pressurization issues, and the flight diverted back to Riga. AVOID THEIR PLANES!!!

Sears are so small it is very difficult for a normal person to actually fit in the seat. Plane from Zurich to Berlin was 90 minutes late (probably not their fault). Second star because the crew were not unfriendly, but the overall experience makes Ryanair look like Qatar Airways. Terrible move for the Eurowings and Lufthansa brands. Avoid if you can.

The plane was outdated and the crew was terrible ,one of the crew members started screaming to a passenger because he was waiting for the toilet and after he was seated he was still screaming at him. the crew was not friendly and looking at you with a angry face.we booked at Transavia but they hired this company bad mistake from Transavia.

Old plane, small chairs, the crew was verry loudly!!(nightfligt) speaking only with collega's no attention for passengers. 1 service moment in four hours

Eurowings flight STR-BDS operated by Avion Express Malta plane 9H-AMU.
Flight was late, APU not working at gate, hence it was unbearably hot in the cabin when we boarded (over 30°C!!!).
Cabin crew did apologize for this and they were suffering from the heat as well. Not sure if it's a wise idea to run a plane with APU inop during peak summer season...
Fortunately, it got better once the engines were running and we took off. Really cramped cabin, old WIZZ air plane, sub-standard legroom.
Generally, I have to say, that the crew was really nice and the flight itself was uneventful.
However, it's not LH Group experience you get on AVIONExpress...

Travelled with Avion (TUI) from Dublin to Lanzarote return. What a fantastic airline. Almost new plane. Brilliant cabin crew and a very comfortable flight.

We booked a package holiday to Turkey through TUI, but less than a week before we left we received an email stating that our return flight would be with Avion Express rather than with TUI, this made us a bit anxious as we had read the bad reviews, they weren’t wrong, as we were approaching the plane on the runway in Dalaman the first thing that caught everyone’s attention was that it was just a plain white, tatty looking plane with some paintwork missing around the cockpit windows, as we got inside it looked like something from the 70s, shabby, small and very outdated, after around a 30 min delay we prepared for takeoff, one of the air hostesses had to find a spare seat next to a passenger to sit in as she had nowhere to sit after showing us the safety briefing the old fashioned way as there were no screens onboard!! we accelerated down the runway and the noise was unbearable, and the plane was shaking all over the place, as we lifted off it was reall bumpy and swaying from side to side, we couldn’t understand the pilot when he spoke over the tannoy because the speakers were crackling and breaking up, once up in the air it was less nervy apart from some turbulence (not the airlines fault) then came the descent and landing, the descent felt like it was taking forever but at the same it literally felt like we were nose diving and everyone was looking concerned as our ears popped beyond belief, we seemed to be swerving around and descending at the same time and I actually felt nervous for touchdown, we hit the runway with a heavy thud and the whole plane was rattling and making a crackle noise, then as we came to a stop the smell of fuel filled the fuselage and made everyone feel sick. We couldn’t wait to get off and won’t be flying in one of those outdated planes again, a complaint has gone into TUI.

The only good thing about this plane is the crew.

Uncomfortable. Not suitable for anyone over 5ft 5. You can't eat on there as there's no room. I'm 5ft 2 and I struggled. If you're carrying a bit of weight you can forget it.

I hope I never have to fly on one again.

Greed over comfort with this plane. At the very least it should be a 2 hour flight or less only.

I felt like crying at one point.

We were booked return Business Class with KM Malta Airlines following the demise of Air Malta. However the flight would be operated by Avion Express but our enquiry to KM Malta assured us they had the same standards of service/comfort that KM described on their own web site.
Not true in our experience. A worn, economy class seat with the metal frame pressing through the excuse for a cushion, no extra pitch or recline, no curtain dividers for galley, WC area or aisle. Unwelcoming, disinterested cabin crew with no passenger interaction skills or passengers' expectation.
Looking at the Avion Express web site it appears that their aircraft are all basic tourist class layout used for ad-hoc lease and charter.
I urge anyone booked on a flight with an Avion Express aircraft to rebook if they can. I will certainly not travel with them again.

Recently, I found myself aboard an Avion Express flight due to a change by Wizz Air. While the journey was acceptable, there were notable areas ripe for enhancement.

Punctuality became a concern when our departure lagged behind by a staggering two hours. One hour in the terminal and another onboard, we anxiously waited, impacting our schedule significantly.

Comfort, necessary even during short-distance flights, unfortunately turned out to be insufficient. The seating configuration lacked the expected level of comfort, especially considering the brevity of the one-hour flight. Limited legroom added to the discomfort, detracting from what could have been a more pleasant journey.

Flew with Avion Express to Tenerife on 12 January 2024. Pleasant crew, smooth flight. Thank you!

They damaged my luggage and therefore 2 months off birocraty and submission is yes they will pay me for damage but in 3 months from this point - what in the earth you will wait 3 months, for bankruptcy? Laughters!

Dear Pilots. 

I myself had a very bad experience in Avion Express and also heard some of my friends having it aslo.
Writing this to warn others so they dont experience the same:
in short here is what I experienced: 
I payed 25000 euros to get at least 500 hours through EagleJet. 
I start line training and get 14.75 hours. I get stopped on my line training and sent home. No reason given why. 
I wait for about 1 month with no news on when I will continue line training. I get asked to be a support sim in prague on very short notice. It says start time on schedule and I was there then. I should have been there 2 hours before for briefing so after helping the company they decide to terminate me. 
I get no refund from Avion Express but get 5000 euros back from EagleJet. I loose 20000 euros on this and also they are evil enough to wait 3-4 weeks until Avion Express tell me I am terminated so I miss out on finding another pilot job for the summer season.
Never experienced such an unpleasant evil thing. 
Have heard this company have treated others bad also so please be aware.
