10/10 service 🌟 Alanna and Martin were fantastic to deal with!

Avis has always been my ‘go to’ and now I know why. I hired a car from Belfast international as my own was getting repaired. Had to do a 40 mile journey and when I got up to 60 mph the wheel wobble was awful, probably just needed balancing. I got home and rang there office, helpful young lad called Evan answered and couldn’t have been more helpful. Asked if I would mind bringing it up to swap for a different one, 5 minutes later I was there and the car was swapped. Excellent customer service 5*****

Hiring a car with Avis is quick and easy. I found the process very straight forward and wasn’t kept waiting at the desk. In my experience the staff member was friendly and helpful and returning the car was hassle free.

Very helpful, kind and professional. The lady was working the 17 of January 2025 at 10pm she was fantastic and made all the process of renting a car easy and quick. It was late night but she still patiently was working with us. Great company and we will go again defiantly.

Seamless service. Car waiting outside the airport. No fuss or waiting around.

The on line booking was straightforward. The assistant at the reception desk in Knock Airport was pleasant. I was told to walk around to a cabin about 400m away in the wind and rain to collect the car. There was no one at the cabin and there was no sign of anyone in the location. I waited for a long time until a representative showed up, but he was in a rush. He pointed to the car and then dashed off.
I mean ... Knock is hardly a busy airport.
The car was a little Skoda which transpired had a steering issue.
The car would veer off line with no particular warning. It was most disconcerting and felt dangerous.
Because of this issue, I did not use the car a lot during the hire. It felt unsafe.
I returned the car to Knock Airport on completion of the hire and again, there was no one at the Returns cabin to complete the hire. I waited for a long time again, eventually gave up and left the keys in the letterbox.
Overall... the booking was simple although the need for a 2000 Euro deposit was not made clear at the time of booking.
Reception in the airport was suitable but the service for collection and return was appalling. No one was available to talk to about the steering issue.
Avis... I think you need to brush up on the service

I was greeted by an extremely helpful and friendly service agent who ensured that I received exactly the right car for my needs, even during the Christmas rush. The car was clean and new. The return process was simple and pain free. I will be sticking with Avis in future.

Hired car from Derry. Top class service. Had no problems even though arrived late in the evening and dropped off very early in the morning. Made a mistake with my booking also, and customer service fixed it promptly over the phone.

Price convenience & professional staff

Good competitive rate, nice staff in Airport, free extra driver, no hard sell on extra insurance (a big plus), gave us an upgrade, in terminal desk, easy drop-off, totally hassle free experience and will use again!
