Order was shipped really quickly. Delivery was with DHL or UPS by choice. I really like that Axel arigato offers a choice of rather sustainable delivery options without the companies that frequently are in bad press about sub-sub-subcontractors taking over the deliveries.
Also the packaging of the shoes itself was really nice and felt really luxurious given the price point of the shoes. I own shoes that are a bit more expensive and are not nearly as nice packaged.
Also the added shoe bag adds a nice touch to the packaging as well.

Absolutely horrendous experience
Absolutely horrendous experience. I originally received the shoes with a stain, so I returned them for a replacement. The replacement never arrived, and after informing them that I never received it, they claimed the courier confirmed delivery. To make matters worse, I later found an invoice showing the shoes were priced at $75, while I paid $345.
Despite all of this, they are refusing to issue a refund, leaving me no choice but to dispute the charge with my bank. Extremely disappointing customer service and overall experience.

They can't keep a promise
I’m writing this review to share my experience, as it may be useful for others considering a purchase.
I bought a pair of shoes which unfortunately turned out to be defective. Also the quality is rather questionable, especially at that price point.
After contacting customer support, they acknowledged the issue and confirmed that my size was available for a replacement. Before returning the item, I explicitly checked and received written confirmation that a replacement would be arranged.
Based on that assurance, I returned the shoes as instructed.
However, once the return was received at their warehouse, the situation changed. Instead of processing the agreed replacement, the case was automatically handled as a refund. I was then informed that a replacement was no longer possible due to internal system limitations, as the refund had already been completed and the transaction closed.
While I understand that companies have internal processes, this is not something a customer can control or even be aware of. I followed their instructions based on a confirmed solution, yet the final outcome was changed due to an internal issue on their side.
Customer support acknowledged the situation and apologized, but ultimately stated that nothing further could be done. The only option offered was a 20% discount on a new purchase, which does not reflect the original agreement and effectively requires me to pay again for the same product.
What is most disappointing is not the defect itself, but the way the resolution was handled. A replacement was clearly agreed upon, and I acted based on that confirmation. In the end, that agreement was not honored.
Overall, this experience felt inconsistent and unfair, and it has reduced my confidence in how customer issues are handled. I would recommend others to be cautious and ensure that any replacement arrangements are fully secured before returning an item.

Really worthless shoes
Really worthless shoes. The sole was wornout after 1.5 years and when I took this to their attention they say it is because wear and tear. Not a manufacturing fault. I have other sneakers that are 5-8 years old and they are still fine. So do not buy. Not worth the price tag of 2800SEK.

They caused a lot of pain
I bought the sneakers as a gift for my boyfriend. The design is nice and they look good, but they’re not comfortable at all. They caused a lot of pain in the left foot, and that doesn’t happen with other shoes. It’s a shame about the investment, because he won’t be able to wear them again.
