i bought a pair of airpods second generation and i recieved a pair of sendem which is a chinese branded pair of wireless earphones that look like airpods inside and airpods sealed box and the earphones had scratches and they wouldnt turn on after a day of leaving them on charge the box had a green light on for fully charged and back market wouldnt give me a refund

I purchased an S23 Ultra. Turned out the phone i ordered was a US spec version, this means that it will not recieve software updates unless done manually by a professional and be more buggy/unreliable when connecting to EU networks. Overall disappointed by the lack of transparency, i was able to figure this out because i am familar with this sort of thing but for anyone else by the time they figure it out the return and refund window will have long since passed. I intend to replace with an EU version or refund in full.

Warranty was not honoured and responsibility avoided citing consumer-caused damage. The return process was mishandled, with broken chain of custody. Back Market refused to accept accountability and did not meet EU consumer protection standards.

Quick snappy delivery

I bought a refurbished laptop from this company, for my company. Having a ".ie" I wasn't sure if they were an Irish registered company (they are not). Before I purchased, I asked them if I get a VAT invoice with an Irish VAT number and they confirmed that I do (I didn't) so I cannot now reclaim the VAT. This company are really just a middleman, Appimac are the company that supply, and back market completely wash their hands of responsibility and expect you to resolve with a third party. They have no phone number to contact. Their replies are generic and totally contradictory. After 2 months of trying to get my money back, I now have to gather all the information and open a VISA claim. You'll probably read a generic reply from them on how they aim to provide the best service and they are sorry that I experienced an problem blah blah blah. Don't be fooled. If something goes wrong, you won't get help.

The Apple Watch arrived promptly and is in perfect condition - I am very pleased with the service, thank you.
