We are not a scam and it is defemination to say so. You kindly ordered cufflinks when we were relocating and you would have been informed of this in your order confirmation via email, we also advertised it on our website, on every page.

Your order was dispatched to Portugal on Monday with the tracking number emailed to you. Here it is just in case - LE345650962GB, dispatched with Royal Mail.

We removed you from Instagram for spreading false information.

It could be Ana, that you inputted an incorrect email address, it could be as simple as that, a business isn't always at fault but I do appreciate we can operate a lot better and I hope in the future we can.

I havnt recieved my order

I havnt recieved my order. I need it for my wedding and have had silence when trying to call 23 times, no answer. Emailed around 8 times... had no apology just that it'll be in next week? That was last week.

You kindly ordered a sterling silver ring in size P a few weeks back. We informed you straight away that we'd ran out of that size and that we're currently producing more. The rings have been made and will be ready for engraving next week.

You'll not get hold of anyone via that number, we've moved offices! I have removed the number from the website, presumably you're calling a number that's on our email signatures.

We have communicated via email since the initial purchase a couple of times. Due to the relocation I've had to recruit a new administrator who will commence work on June 2nd. Until then I do not have the resources or time myself to answer all emails and queries.

DISGUSTING COMMUNICATION

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE. COMPANY ONLY CONTACTED ME ONCE I POSTED A BAD REVIEW. BLAMED ME FOR NOT ENTERING MY FULL ADDRESS, EVEN THOUGH THE POSTCODE AND DOOR NUMBER WERE PROVIDED, WHICH WOULD BE ENOUGH IN THE UK. WHOEVER MESSAGED FROM YOUR COMPANY TOOK NO RESPONSIBILITY, REPLIED WITH LAUGHING EMOJIS. GENUINELY FELT LIKE I WAS COMMUNICATING WITH A TEENAGER. DONT EVEN KNOW IF I WILL GET MY MONEY BACK.

Using a number and postal code is not enough. Not enough for the Royal Mail, I do not control how they operate.

I kindly asked for you to remove the first review (as none of this is the fault of Badger & Brown) in return for a refund or a new product being sent out, and you refused. That offer still stands. If not, you'll need to wait for the order to be returned to us. This was your error and nobody else's.

I ordered a place of ivory cufflinks…

I ordered a place of ivory cufflinks for our 14th wedding anniversary. I paid for 1-2 postage which didn’t make the deadline. When I raised it I was told the order could not be found. When I questioned it, I was reprimanded to immediately for doing so pointing out ‘technology happened’. My order was simply cancelled. Having read other negative reviews, it would appear the general theme is that Chris is always on his high horse and rather fancies himself as a mark of excellence in customer service. He lacks basic etiquette in dealing with customers which clearly shows his inability to be a true businessman.

It’s not about the positive reviews it’s actually about the negative reviews I’d worry about as even one is a mark on one’s business is a sign of failure and not striving to hold a good reputation.

Very pleased now he didn’t get my business

Because Afaya, it's technology and believe it or not, technology can go wrong...... You can see from the order confirmation there is no product showing, it's very odd.

However, I've found your emails quite aggressive and there's no need for it, so with that in mind I have issued you a full refund and you can purchase elsewhere.

My emails were not rude and simply because I didn’t greet you didn’t mean I was aggressive. Same token by saying ‘ kind regards’ doesn’t make you politer.

there is no justification how you treated me and the long protracted email re-informed everything I said about you being or a high horse.

All you had to do was look at my order and let me know what had happened. Refund request was reasonable. You addressed it in a wholly inappropriate way.

You kindly placed an order with us on Wednesday 30th April. We then exchanged the following emails on Sunday 4th May.

Customer: I ordered this first thing on Wednesday 30 April and paid for 1-2 day delivery.  I have still not received my order. I should be refunded my delivery charge as you didn’t meet the deadline and also where is the order? 

Chris: Good morning. There's no info re: your order, no product info. What have you purchased please?

Customer: Personalised ivory cuff links with a silver engraved box.
Are you not able to see the order number and price paid?
How can an order just be missing?????

Now from my perspective I have never spoken with you before, or met with you. You have emailed me without a greeting, no hello, or good morning/afternoon. You've also been quite demanding and instantly jumping to conclusions. Personally, I would never email a company or a stranger and speak with them that way. I would be polite, and respectful.

There can be a number of reasons why an order didn't arrive in time, and it's not always the fault of the business owner. I'm growing quite tired of it all.

In this rare situation, the customers payment failed and when they paid the 2nd time the website didn't pick up on the product, so in theory there was no order. This is an isolated case and it's never happened before, but it can when we rely so much on technology.

There are people out there who think once they part their money with you, they can speak and treat you how they wish, so I simply didn't want the business. I told Mr Syed this (it was him emailing), and I informed him I will refund the order in full and they can take their money elsewhere.

I will always offer a good service, it's in my make up. I'm a very conscientious person and we (my team and I) do offer this. It is also in my make up to stand up for myself and what I believe in, which you'll see from other reviews on Trustpilot.

If you're wanting a high quality product at affordable prices then please don't be put off. If you are then simply give me a call and we can have a wee chat.

*In response - No, that's incorrect. My reply to you was as above, I greeted you Good morning and then asked for more information. Please take what I'm saying with some consideration, most people who email in with a query are a lot politer than you came across to me. Take care.

Absolutely Shocking Customer Service

I had an absolutely terrible experience with this company. I placed an order for a pair of cufflinks that were shown as in stock on their website. A few days later, I received an email — not even an apology — just a notification that the item wasn’t actually in stock and that I was being refunded. No explanation, no offer of an alternative, just a refund out of nowhere.

This was supposed to be a personalized gift for a birthday party, and the way this was handled ruined the plan entirely. When I contacted customer service to ask what happened, instead of being understanding or helpful, I was lectured in a rude tone about how I should have ordered earlier if I wanted it on time. Excuse me? The website clearly stated the item was available. How is this my fault?
The representative’s tone was dismissive and completely lacking in empathy. I felt like I was being blamed for their poor stock management and misleading website. No customer should be treated this way. Honestly, it was one of the worst shopping experiences I’ve ever had. I won’t be ordering from them again, and I strongly advise others to avoid them too.

Thank you for your review, and the order that you kindly placed.

You kindly ordered at the start of the bank holiday weekend for an urgent birthday present, a gift for the following Wednesday I believe.

The system was in error. We only had 0.5 pairs of the running cufflinks in stock, but the website stated we had one pair left. A staff member may have not edited the stock after finding a faulty product, leaving us only half a pair.

I realised the error on the Tuesday so refunded you immediately. You then called the office within the hour and spoke with myself (I really need to stop taking the phone calls) demanding why we have refunded you. I explained why and your response was 'it's not good enough'....
As the owner of the business all I can do is apologise, for which I did, and that should be enough. We all try and run a smooth ship here but sometimes it can go amiss.
What followed was an upset customer giving me the guilt trip.
I explained that the responsibility for the late gift should be on her shoulders, and not mine. Donata left it late to buy a gift, six days prior to the birthday in fact, and four of those days were non working days.

We constantly get upset from customers in situations like these, usually for postage issues, for which are completely out of our control.

We do our best, in fact we all do a stellar job, 99% of the time.

I recently purchased some cufflinks…

I recently purchased some cufflinks from this website. The product itself was nice, delivery time as expected however the engraving a bit small and not exactly what I wanted therefore I requested to return the item.

Even though the product listing stated Free returns on all UK orders, it turns out that wasn’t the case, and after contacting the company I was informed that the item is non returnable because it is supposedly a “personalised item” (merely by the fact it’s engraved even though no personalisation was requested, and the item was purchased exactly as it’s listed on the website). I would understand if I’d requested a name to be engraved on the item, that would be non-returnable, but I hadn’t.

I was disappointed that after several back and forth emails (and eventually no response from the company), no return or even partial return was offered, even when I pointed out that the product listing states “free returns on all Uk orders”, it doesn’t state “free returns on all UK orders but only if we decide it’s eligible for a return”. By their definition this item would never be eligible for a return as it’s engraved… so why advertise it as eligible for free UK returns!

Personally I think the product description is very misleading, the returns policy is open to interpretation and I would advise anyone purchasing from this website, to query whether the item can be returned before they purchase it, because I didn’t realise that an item which I haven’t personalised in any way is apparently classed as personalised!

UPDATE: Following my review the company has now removed the statement of “Free returns on all UK orders” from the product listing, so they clearly agree with my review that it was misleading yet still no acknowledgement or refund to me!

Confusing and Deceitful Website

Having read some of the worrying reviews on here, I decided I had better check before ordering a set of the rower engraved cufflinks. Despite the product description reading 'Free returns on all UK orders', the person on the phone clarified that this was not the case for this product. When I asked why the description would list this as true when it in fact wasn't, she replied that this was 'just the way the listing is written'. It doesn't seem to be a default listing feature, as the majority of other products do not state this, just a select few where it has been added, but actually doesn’t apply - I wonder why…

But the deceit doesn't end there! Just a few minutes earlier I had called to clarify some other details about the product. I questioned how quickly the engraving could be completed and then the product sent out, to which the lady replied that given 'it is a machine with a needle' that does the engraving, it is very quick and could be sent today. Great to hear that the 'design that we've handcrafted' will be 'carried out by an experienced and professional engraver' - pressing a button on a machine!

I'm hugely relieved I checked these details and discovered the product was not as it was described, as I thus managed to avoid the experience of dealing with Chris (see plenty of other reviews). A business person who claims to 'want to keep customers happy', but instead of dealing with bad reviews, simply gets upset and pays a different company to handle reviews, is someone I am thankful to have not done business with.

EDIT: Absolutely baffling customer service to further support other reviews on here - not answering the review just rambling about something else entirely.
Thankfully I HAVEN’T bought any products from you, I am reviewing your website and telephone customer service. I rang up your company at 12:05 and 12:14 yesterday to clarify some of the details of the ROWER ENGRAVED CUFFLINKS, and in both instances discovered that your website was plain and simply lying about the service you could provide. 1) A machine engraved item is GCSE level D&T at best, and hardly ‘handcrafting’. 2) False advertising free returns on a product.

1. Engraved products are non-refundable, please refer to our returns/delivery page, or the tab on every product page.
2. The products themselves are described as handcrafted, not the engraving. This is done by a specialised machine, which our staff use.
3. I (chris) will never make everyone happy, although I do try. You'll always get people who don't agree with how I run things.

I've never used this site until last…

I've never used this site until last week. I ordered some horse racing cufflinks for my dad's 60th.. so happy to of found this site , the cufflinks are stunning , the packaging is gorgeous and my dad is absolutely going to love them.. amazing quality and quick delivery thank you so much I will be returning

We no longer use Trustpilot for collating reviews and only request reviews from all customers via Reviews.io, so there's more of a balance on there. Generally speaking we only receive negative reviews on Trustpilot nowadays.

We find Reviews.io very helpful and they have real people to talk with. Trustpilot charge over double and only have bots to help you.

Shocking customer service and false…

Shocking customer service and false advertising. I purchased an engraved ring for a gift. Ring didn’t fit despite me measuring according to website. I ordered a bigger size and sent the original ring back requesting a refund. I was told that I couldn’t be refunded as ring was personalised. Ring was not personalised in any way but engraved as advertised on website. Chris Lee was incredibly rude and disrespectful as others have stated. He tried to bribe me with a partial refund if I left a glowing feedback on Trust Pilot! Unbelievable. I ended up having to pay postage to get original ring back.
I can’t believe anyone runs a business with this attitude and behaviour. I would avoid at all costs. Only wish I’d read the other awful feedback about this company and this man before I ordered.

You kindly ordered an engraved ring over Christmas, and you ordered an incorrect size. Without contacting us you went ahead and ordered the correct size thinking you could return the original purchase. Sadly, as the ring had been engraved we weren't able to refund it, for which you didn't take too kindly to.

I wasn't rude but I had to take control over the matter as you were constantly harassing Chloe about the issue.

Awful Customer Service

I ordered a pair of personalised cufflinks with an additional grey box and paid extra for speedy delivery to arrive before christmas. When the order arrived (before christmas) it was missing the additional grey box. I immediately emailed and asked for this to be sent out which they did. I then got a slip through the post (after christmas) which said the sender did not pay the delivery in full and there was an additional £7 to pay. I paid the fee and this turned out to be for the grey box. This was extremely disappointing so I decided to email with the expectation to receive some money back. I emailed on 08/01/25 and received a reply on the 09/01/25 asking about the stickers on the parcel to which I replied to on 11/01/25 then did not hear anything until I called the company on 23/01/25. When I called I spoke to a gentleman called Chris Lee who I found to be very rude, he said “well, have you ever made a mistake at work and are you expected to pay money for it?”. I tried to explain that I was prepared to drop it initially as I understand christmas pressures but then I got the additional charge. He ended the conversation by saying he would sort it - it is now 28/01/25 and I have heard nothing.

Quality Customer Service

Whilst my son inadvertently ordered the wrong shirt for me, the quality was absolutely fantastic. Even more impressive, they (Davy) followed up with an email of goodwill to replace it with the correct one!
I would totally recommend this seller!

Very helpful and accommodating team

After my initial mistake of putting a much too detailed design of my family crest to be engraved on a signet ring, Chris and the team were very accommodating in allowing me to send back the ring (which did not turn out as I had hoped) and work out a compromise to create a new one with a much simpler design at half of the original price. I would recommend being absolutely sure of the design you submit initially as I had hoped and asked for mock ups from the team but understandably at this time of year they were very busy and so they could not do so and the ring ended up being engraved with the exact design I had submitted which was too detailed and busy.
As mentioned though, Chris was exceptionally accommodating and communicative and we were able to work out a compromise and hopefully my new and improved signet ring will arrive very soon.
