I’ve had a great service from Baked Earth and my floor tiles are absolutely beautiful. Communication has been excellent and the company kept me updated on the delivery of my tiles, as they were made to order. I have no complaints and would order from them again.

The tiles are beautiful, the rug is thick and stylish, and the prices were so much better than other places I looked at.

Really disappointed with the customer service of this company. The tiles I ordered look great and I am really happy with them. However, the size varied in length by around 15% making many of the tiles unusable for parquet flooring. Many were also broken or crumbly. I would expect a certain amount of this and many of the tiles were used as offcuts but this still left a significant number that could not be used. With most companies it is simple to return any tiles that are broken. However, baked earth will only accept returns if you pay for the return and will also deduct their delivery cost from any refund. This makes it almost pointless to return them. I really don’t understand why I am liable to return tiles that were delivered to me in a broken state. Such a shame as the tiles look amazing but the customer service has put me off using these again.

Update in response to reply:
To confirm I did not ask them to collect surplus tiles just broken ones. Because of the issues with so many of the tiles being unusable we opted to tile a smaller area rather than waiting for replacement tiles. I asked for these to be collected and refunded to which I was told they would not collect them.

We are undertaking a large renovation project in the Highlands and Adam at Baked Earth has been invaluable in providing advice and expertise to support this project over the past few months. Professional, knowledgeable, timely, and personable. Will continue to seek their input and would happily recommend to others.

Excellent customer service and prompt delivery by the delivery company. The tiles are exquisite and flawless, plus I received a 10% discount from them as well as our project was over 50sqm. Would recommend others to order a sample and compare quality as we save substantially compared to other companies.

I’m an interior designer based in London. I have purchased terracotta flooring here several times over the years and have always been very satisfied with the products and service I have received. This most recent purchase was even better. Not only am I very happy with the tile we bought but when the project was completed and we found that we had over bought on tile, they took it back. No questions asked. Despite my being 2 days past their return policy time limit.

Good clay product, smooth purchase online, friendly customer service team. I found Baked Earth online and ordered sample which arrived very quickly. The main order was also delivered on time. Unfortunately, the stock of this product was not enough for my project, but the friendly person on the phone found a very similar one for me next day, which I was happy to purchase. Also, few tiles happened to be broken and they offered me the full refund for them. So, I'm happy to recommend this place to others.

We have been searching on the internet for these pale terracotta parquet tiles and ordered multiple samples from various companies, after comparisons we concluded that they tiles were often of the same quality but we refused to pay such staggering prices other companies were charging.We asked Baked Earth why their prices were so much lower than others. Adam was very honest and explained this range is sourced from Bangladesh and Baked Earth import directly from their family owned factory. The customer service you receive from the Baked Earth team is amazing, they are very honest people, and their professionalism really ignites a sense of comfort in you as a customer when ordering. We would highly recommend Baked Earth.

Beautiful tiles that were shipped almost as soon as I ordered. Very happy with the quality. I was not at home for the initial delivery attempt (I expected them to take longer) but this was quickly rearranged for the following day. Great customer service. I would definitely order from here again.

Adam at Baked Earth provided us with the best customer service and we can't thank him enough. His expertise and knowledge helped us tremendously with the design and selection of our tile purchase for our living room and kitchen. The tile has been installed and it looks beautiful! I was happy with the option to be able to order sample tile, most costing nothing or a small charge, plus free postage. The samples were delivered very promptly with good communication from the supplier all the way along...helped me make my decision and I will be ordering from this company based on the choice availability and the competitive pricing.

I found lovely tiles for my kitchen at an excellent price compared to other companies. Many people have complimented them, including the builders. Delivery was fast and items were very well packed. I would definitely use Baked Earth again.

Perfect for My Bathroom,I used the hexagonal tiles in my bathroom, and they’re absolutely gorgeous. The soft terracotta colors give it a cozy, spa-like feel. Plus, the delivery was super quick!

The product I bought from this company is great quality and shipped quickly. There was a problem with the order where one of the terracotta box delivered was the wrong style. I contacted their customer service where Adam was extremely helpful in resolving the issue.

We were so pleased to find these tiles at Baked Earth, they cost less than the same tiles from other retailers.
The tiles arrived when we were told to expect them and to our delight, only a handful of the 72m2 were actually damaged.
We were very happy with the communication and information from the team. Perfect!

I ordered 25x25 presealed terracotta tiles and they arrived 5 to a box and were stacked up to be laid to make a Spanish style staircase with coloured porcelain tiles from Valencia going on the uprisers. The first box was open to check the finish and the top tile looked exactly as I wanted and I was pleased with the overall appearance. When they came to be laid though, dozens were broken and they sadly are now discontinued. I was very disappointed in the response from Adam in Baked Earth as I would consider the tile was not fit for function if so many were written off in transport. Interestingly, my other porcelain tiles arrived all the way from Valencia 100% intact. What I have managed to salvage looks beautiful but I have not been able to complete my project and they are hiding behind their terms and conditions. Only purchade from them if you are unpacking and laying out your tiles within 5 days of having them delivered - not likely in most renovations ! Very disappointing !

A Companies House search on this company and its director would be advisable. No accounts filed since incorporation and more than one of the directors companies is marked for Compulsory Striking Off! Other companies associated have already been dissolved. They have already put a company of the same name into liquidation, owing £96,501.00 to creditors. There is a trail of dissolved companies linked to this family and they keep re starting with either new names or using previous names.

The company has updated their response so as to mislead the public even further. The company were trading using a slightly different company name. The previous company No: 13773322 was dissolved via compulsory striking off in June 2024. This confirmed our initial fears.

They are now trading under “Baked Earth Ltd” 15286706 incorporated 15/11/23 with the same family that put the previous “Baked Earth Ltd” 11849217 into administration on 24/01/23 owing £96,501.00 to creditors.

As we said previously, to protect the public and indeed any potential creditor, research these people before you have anything to do with them and make your own educated decisions.

Not only do the tiles look better than in the pictures, but the customer service has been impeccable. I have had to contact them to place orders on three separate occasions. Emails are responded to extremely quickly, delivery is made in lightning time, and no question goes unanswered. Would 10000% recommend.
