The design came very close to what I requested. My child was ecstatic. Seller was professional with communication and prompt with delivery.

It was totally well organized when you have something specific in mind. The bakers were prompt to get back to me with quotes. My only complaint was when you go to place your down payment, they charge you a considerable service charge which was never mentioned before you fell in love with a cake. $58 is a lot to pay extra when I figured that the service charge was included in the price of the cake (over $450).

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH A CAKE FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION!

You will NOT get the cake that you think you're getting.
My cake was poorly made. I don't care how many reviews they have claiming their cakes were great! NO! My cake didn't look like my design. Also, the cake fell apart after a 15 minute car drive! Almost $400 for a cake I could make at home! Go to a REAL BAKERY where you see actual bakers who are NOT working from home! You do NOT want to get screwed like we did with a $50 credit for a future cake! A future cake? Why would anyone order again after being misled thinking these bakers worked from a bakery and NOT their homes. I didn't realize these were HOME bakers until I paid my deposit. You've been warned.

This is my second time using BakeStreet and it was fabulous once again! Super easy to use and the baker was communicative throughout the process and delivery was on time! I will definitely use it for my custom cake needs!

I’ve always thought that the sign of great service is how mistakes and trickier issues are remedied. I ordered, from the UK, a birthday cake months before a trip to New York, after much planning and design. Literally two days before the birthday and the baker, for health reasons, messaged to say they couldn’t bake my personalised and designed cake. Bake Street, without fuss or drama organised another New York baker (Gilinda) on very short notice to deliver exactly what I wanted and designed. Superb stuff as I had zero options to rescue the situation when already in the US. Delighted with the service. It would have been easy for Bake Street to point simply to the original baker’s cancellation. They just got on and sorted it.

I was LISTENED to from the start! The mock-ups for the cake were spot on to my specifications and the promptness was very professional. Then, the magic happens as your cake is put up for bidding... At this point you can see the work of all the cake artists and interact with them prior to choosing the final artist and design. I would highly recommend BakeStreet!!

I don't even know where to begin. My cake was beautifully crafted and tasted just as good. I've never had a cake like this. It was such a crowd pleaser. I will definitely be coming back and ordering more in the future. Everything from order the cake to communication and of course the execution of such a beautifully crafted cake was exceptional. Such professionalism was exceptional and not to mention the talent was unbelievable.
