Avoid at all costs.
After using Air Products for several months I decided to switch suppliers as the pricing was relatively competitive with BalloonHelium.co.uk and as a smaller business, I thought that I would give them a chance. What a mistake that was. You are absolutely better off using a reputable supplier as you will be treated with a lot more respect.
On Friday 30th July I purchased a V-Fill Canister, I inflated 60 x 10" & 11" latex balloons. After this use, I went to use again to fill 11" latex balloons and the canister was completely empty. Despite being stored and used correctly.
V fill canisters are advertised for filling 250 x 10" Latex or 125 12" Latex, this did neither which I would argue is misleading marketing in this situation
I rang balloon helium for advise whilst I was quite upset, I was essentially told that no one could help me and that it is not their problem, all I can do is wait 4 weeks and suck it up. As a first time customer this is not the service you would expect, no reassurance, no explanation, to offer to help me obtain a new canister - nothing, she did not want to know.
Balloon Helium have advised that will need to test and investigate to see if the canister was faulty before being able to assist me any further. I completely appreciate why this is the case, but it is immoral expecting small businesses to part with a larger sum of money, for poor service and no product.
The way in which this has been handled by balloon helium has genuinely made me feel like a criminal and taken a huge toll on my financial health and stress levels. I know how to correctly inflate and store helium, I know that this canister is faulty. If my customer had faced a financial loss due to my service, I would do everything possible to correct this.
This company has absolutely no duty of care for their customers, considering a large number of businesses that use their services are small businesses just trying to get by.
As a small business I can only afford to purchase 1 helium canister a month, and without fail it has always lasted me. Unfortunately, on this occasion for whatever reason it has not, whether it is due to quality or fault. Either way it is out of my control and myself and my customers are the only people to pay for it.
With 2 wedding events that I have commitment for this week and other customers in between I am now going to have to let my customers down or find money via a credit facility. I am the only person who is now suffering as result of this service & still no care from Balloon Helium.
I honestly believe that Balloon Helium need to invest in some customer service training for their staff, as I have received better service from a statue.
Please please please I urge anyone to avoid. Stay with BOC or Air Products, they will look after you and help you as much as they can.

We have discussed your concerns with our representatives and I'm afraid we do need to disagree with some of the points raised as we would never use such remarks with our customers. We must point out that we did our very best to help you whilst on the phone with you despite the way you chose to speak to our staff. We do of course appreciate that you were upset with the situation however we cannot tolerate shouting and swearing. We are a small but very experienced team and pride ourselves in offering a very high level of customer service so we can only apologise if you feel that this fell short of our usual standards.
There are a wide number of variables that can affect the number of balloons inflated by a cylinder which is why our suppliers must have the opportunity to test the cylinder for any faults should any concerns be raised. We must stress that this would be the same whether your order was directly with the suppliers or through ourselves. Once the faulty cylinder has been logged we will contact customers directly with any updates.

Perfect for foil balloons.
I was looking for some foil helium balloons, but I noticed that buying them already inflated at the shop would have been much expensive than doing it by my self. Despite the disappointing reviews about the helium tank, I decided to buy it.
I filled some foil balloons and some latex one.
The foil are still floating after more than 24 hours, whilst the latex lasted about 10 hours.
This is to say that I highly recommend this helium if you need to fill foil balloons but not latex one.

It is unfortunately less than the foil balloons as the material is more porous so the gas leaks through more quickly than with the foil balloons.

Fantastic company that really saved my daughters 13th and 16th birthdays from being a disappointment.
I struggled to find helium in the shops and no one else could deliver helium the next day until I came across this amazing company, a very speedy next day delivery of helium, so my daughters birthdays were saved and i gained mum points for amazing decorations 🙏

Fast delivery, bit fiddly to use
Good price, fast delivery. Inflate valve is a bit fiddly to use and I wasted a lot of gas before getting it right. Overall, it did what I wanted. Filled a small number of balloons and was delivered in a day or two. Easy to recycle at the local tip.

Brilliant service purchased this because I brought them online before and the helium doesn’t seem to work for as long these balloons we use for 21st in lockdown the foil ones lasted well over a week and the latex lasted for at least 24 hours can highly recommend

Didn't fill enough balloons
I bought a helium canister that should do up to 30 balloons... it did 7. Not very happy.
On the plus side the staff were helpful and quick to reply before I made my purchase.
