BAM Clothing Reviews 

As a repeat customer (several times over), I have concluded that you really need to accept that BAM's Bamboo everyday socks should be regarded as a "throwaway" (in to the textile recycling bin) commodity. They are comfortable, come in attractive bright colours and fit well however they don't last... invariably developing holes in the heels within a few months. So disappointing!

I am now torn... do I continue to order replacements for all the aforementioned reasons or do I go elsewhere? I note that a US company is now offering socks that are guaranteed to last for life... granted that they're much more expensive but worth a thought?!

Happy with the items of clothing but I’ve found the whole process exasperating. Didn’t get the order for 10 days kept getting contradictory emails about delivery and when I emailed and asked for clarification they just sent an email saying if you don’t like receiving emails you can opt out !!! I replied saying please read as that was not what I was saying and they ignored me completely. Needed to return a couple of items and the returns instructions said fill out the delivery form found in parcel there was no delivery form anywhere in the parcel. I have made up my own as I knew there was no point in contacting customer services….we will see how quickly I get a refund.

The clothing is always excellent but I recently had an issue with a delivery. I sent an email and it was responded to and resolved within 24 hours, great customer service, Thank you BAM

Years after I first complained about their broken website, it's still broken. So many problems - don't try to order unless you are inside the UK (using a UK IP address) and shipping to the UK. Otherwise you can still look forward to: random extra shipping fees applied (regardless of where you send to, including UK), wrong language applied, wrong currency applied, wrong shipping dates applied.
Even when ordering from within the UK: the money for my order was taken 3 times, but no order actually recorded - whole process cancelled again and needed to restart. Don't bother.

I‘ve ordered quite a few items from Bam. They are great when new, but don’t wash well or last for long. I like what Bam is trying to do, but I’m coming to the conclusion that bamboo isn’t a great material for clothing. If we’re going to try to make our clothes more eco friendly, they have to last a long time. I get the issues with cotton, but I’ve got cotton t-shirts that have lasted 25 years of regular use. I believe that’s a strong argument in favour of cotton.

I ordered the roll top socks. Received delivery ok. First wearing - I was really impressed. Lovely soft colourful socks that don't dig into my legs. However, after washing and wearing the second time, they have stretched so big that they just roll down my legs and bunch under my feet when walking. Walked to my local shop and had to stop 6 times to pull my socks out of my shoes. Not impressed at paying all that money (2 packs of socks) for just one wear.

I have been buying Enduro leggings for many years. They are simply the best. I only wear natural and preferably organic fibres and leggings of course have to be opaque 😉. However I recently bought the Mallea leggings and Im now a convert. There are slightly thicker/heavier weight and are even more comfortable around the waist and ankles. The Enduro and Mallea leggings are worn every single day as I have MS and need clothing that is easy to pull on without belts and buckles. I now have 3 pairs of the Mallea. If you’re an Enduro fan, do try the Mallea!

The customer service from this company is excellent and that alone would encourage me to buy from them but when combined with the quality of their clothing then they are my go to provider.

I’ve been regularly buying BAM items for many years, including socks, knickers, tee-shirts and sweatshirts, and have usually been very happy.
The last socks ( my usual order) I purchased are extremely disappointing. The fit around the body of the sock is perfect, the fabric lovely quality, but the tops of the socks dig so deeply into my very slim legs that they would be very unhealthy to wear…the indentation left after wearing is deep, and cannot be good for the circulation in the legs…positively dangerous in fact. And to explain my slim legs: I am five feet ten inches tall, weighing 9 stone, with, not just slim, but thin and puny legs!
I suspect these socks would dig into the majority of legs.

Very good quality of yoga wear however shipping was slow, they didn’t do what it said on their mail which is annoying.

Excellent quality clothing, exact as advertised. Washed and tumble dried many times and kept shape and colour well. Not the fastest delivery but worth the wait!

Really pleased with the quality and fit. Order arrived really quickly, and returns process was the easiest I've experienced anywhere. Fingers crossed my exchange is processed without any hassle.

It was a strange experience ordering from bamboo. I ordered enough socks to get free delivery, initially got an "official looking" email receipt of order, but then nothing for 4 days when I got a strange plain text email from the "The BAM Team" apologising for the delay in dispatching my parcel. Finally 3 days after that another official looking email with a link to the Evri tracking details. They arrived fine, but for a good week I was worried I wasn't going to see anything for my £50. After reading other people's experience here I decided not to risk sending anything back.

I’ve got 2 pair of leggings and they are the comfiest, best fit I’ve ever had.
A small problem with one pair and customer service quickly resolved the issue and I have absolutely no complaints at all.

Really appreciate the great customer service. I had an issue with my order and Karen and the team organised a solution so quickly.
The email response was super helpful, kind and friendly. These socks never leave a smell, I've recommended them to my partner and friends.

Started off well and now I see all their other customers are suffering.. I will never be able to get my head around a company's decision to treat their loyal customers who are giving them lots of money appallingly like this. Really odd. Deeply unpleasant, combative employees who are maybe bored and enjoy tormenting its customers? Oh and the clothes in last delivery absolutely stank of an abattoir.. I dropped them a polite note but it is now plain to see they couldn't care less. How does this business still have customers?! And 'lady' behind the emails - goodness knows why they would choose to employ you.

Terrible company, take a medieval amount of time to deliver and harass you with emails and physical post that you never asked for, including pretentious copy and paste job emails from “David”, pretending this David has seen your personal order, decided to compose an email just for you and tell you absolutely nothing in that email you didn’t already have from your order receipt. Stop wasting resources on pointless stuff and maybe orders would arrive at the same time as any other company your size in 2024. If you’re going to be personal, David, get down to the warehouse and do some actual work, not sit waiting for orders behind a computer. I wonder what the bs reply will be.

I have ordered a number of items from Bam over the last couple of years. Always been happy with the clothing- really great quality. The ordering process went smoothly as well- with items being dispatched promptly with good email communication. NOT NOW THOUGH - just as the previous reviewer- no correspondence about delivery time- I contacted them and got a vague response about dispatch time. With my second contact to them I explained my concerns but just received a dispatch email- no attempt to deal with my concerns. There are so many other suppliers out there - if this is how they treat loyal customers- they are not going to survive.

Love their tops and leggings, super soft and great quality. Ideal for the gym
