We recently enjoyed a short stay in Cinder Cottage, Ringstead. The cottage is in a lovely rural setting. It is extremely well furnished and equipped and very comfortable in every respect.
I would just mention two things. Firstly the stairs are a little tricky in that they are somewhat steep and narrow with a sharp turn at the bottom of the first set and a similar sharp turn at the top of the second set. Getting a suitcase to the top could be a little difficult. Secondly there is not much room in one of the bedrooms on the first floor. There is a large (very comfortable) bed so only a very small amount of space around the bed - certainly nowhere for any luggage though this can be stored in a cupboard in the other bedroom on this floor. I slept there on my own which was OK but I felt it would be quite a squeeze for a couple. The plus is that this room enjoys a beautiful view over the countryside. We had a meal at The Gin Trap which is virtually next door and would thoroughly recommend it. Beautiful food in a lovely setting,

If you're looking for people you can trust to find a Norfolk property you'll probably end up wanting to buy if you could, then you're in the right place. I doubt we'd ever go with anyone else. Thank you, Nick, the family & Waffle the dog.

The house was wonderful and my family and friends really enjoyed our stay with every amenity available for our use. All facilities were a very high quality and it made it easy to just concentrate on enjoying ourselves. It's perfectly located for visiting the towns and villages of North Norfolk and the beach - and we had lovely meals and hospitality in the local pubs: The White Horse and The Lifeboat Inn.

We have been holidaying in North Norfolk for close to 40 years and this house was the best one we have ever had the pleasure to stay in. Beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, it had comfortable beds and sofas, a good-sized garden with lovely outdoor furniture, a bathroom for every bedroom, and the kitchen with its 2 refrigerators, 2 freezers and 2 dishwashers was outstanding. Every utensil you could wish for was there. We really had a fabulous relaxing holiday due in no small part to this wonderful house. We have already booked it again for next year.

The house was fabulous. All queries and questions in the lead up to our few days were answered promptly and efficiently. The quality of linen/towels/cleanliness was superb. I would definitely use them again

Great well equipped clean accommodation in a lovely spot. Had sunshine all weekend so made use of all the outdoor furniture and beanbags. A good sized dog friendly garden as well.

2nd time with Barfoot, we decided to take a last minute 3 night away, last weekend, so glad we did! cottage at Ringsted was excellent, so clean, well equipped, well maintained & exceeded our expectations. Lovely village, not too far from all the attractions, beaches etc, loved The Gin Trap, service was brilliant & the cute little nursery at the bottom of the lane was brilliant, defiantly going back and will be using Barefoot for sure!

4th time booking with Barefoot and as always we were very happy. The process is very easy and the descriptions and photos of the properties are really clear. Booking was easy and the follow up. We had one minor issue at the property which was sorted immediately. Will be using them again and again. Thank you Barefoot!

We had a fabulous week at Stile Cottage in Burnham Market, the whole experience with Barefoot Retreats was excellent from start to finish. The cottage was beautifully furnished, and exactly as described, I would definitely recommend them.

Not quite the luxury cottage as advertised, clever marketing and pictures but was in a great location and offered good facilities. Downstairs was rather dark and the hot water was an issue in the bathroom but overall a well presented cottage in a beautiful part of Norfolk.

We stayed in a wonderful house in a beautiful area of North Norfolk. Barefoot Retreats were very helpful before, during and after our visit. Anything we wanted they could provide and assisted us whilst on holiday. The accommodation was exceptional, the best we have stayed in ever, from the welcome pack to the dressing gown and slippers we could not have wanted anything else. We hope to return. Thank you.

Barefoot Retreats were so professional from start to finish with our second booking of a superb large holiday house for our family get together. The booking was easy and they provided useful telephone support and advice so I chose the right holiday home. There was a few very small maintenance issues with the house which were dealt with professionally and very quickly. Thank you we will be booking again next year.

We love the little touches and attention to detail that we get from Barefoot Retreats. The service provided is very personal and communication is excellent. A winning formula!

I rented the most lovely house which had everything one needed. It was just like being at home. The kitchen was well appointed. The bed very comfortable and even dressing gowns were provided. This was the second time I used Barefoot Retreats and the third time will be booked very soon!

The Barefoot experience is exceptional ! You can guarantee all the properties are of an incredibly high standard, beautifully furnished and like “home from home”. I cannot recommend them enough and they have been a big part of so many happy family gatherings over the last 5 years.

Marshland Barn at Titchwell is an exceptional property. Very well equipped, spacious, contemporary, comfortable and spotless. Our family had a fantastic celebratory, long weekend here. Barefoot Retreats are such a professional, efficient and friendly company. Jeylan was so helpful throughout, from our initial enquiries to our arrival at Marshland. Nothing was too much trouble for her, including our deliveries of ordered balloons and a birthday cake to the property. I highly recommend this company and we shall be using them again.

Excellent house for 10 people. Plenty of space and really well appointed

The information provided by Barefoot Retreat is top notch. The house we stayed in was absolutely lovely. High end fittings and furnishings, comfortable beds, sofas and seating. All towels, linen and accessories of a very high standard.
The staff at the headquarters were friendly, helpful and n hand to answer any queries. I will definitely go back to the house and definitely use Barefoot again.
