I keep maintaining my opinion that it…
I keep maintaining my opinion that it is simply not fair to not offer a payment options which doesn't cost your customer. As you will agree we are all going through testing times and that you make a profit in charging for credit card usage where you don't have any other option without a fee for the customer is simply not good. You will create revenue through this process. There is simply enough evidence that your banking system will not charge you to use them. You are simply too big and will be too smart paying a bank using them. Sure, you might pay a monthly fee, but this will be so small you should honor the charge. Anyway, the last of my 6 hires or so was ok. The greeting process of the lady on duty can do with some more training. We were three people in the office when she entered after I waited for 15 minutes already and she couldn't get herself to say good morning. I think this is rude and shouldn't happen. What is wrong with people in the hospitality not to say "Hi"? Anyway, she did her job and actually surprised me when she walked out with me to the car. All other CSO's during my 8 weeks in Darwin have not done this. I found the power steering was very stiff, however she didn't think so as the car was only serviced recently. What she may not have considered is that even a car service can create more issues after than before,,,, anyway the gent who took the car back from me agreed the steering was stiff. I hope I could assist you in finding an issue if there is one. One last thing: I have entered your office three times where there was no staff in the office. The door wasn't locked and I think Darwin is not the best place to invite people who have the wrong intention to enter freely an office. At one instance there were all keys in a box available for anyone who wanted them......you can do better.

The company and service was good
The company and service was good. However the MG drove like it had never been serviced and sounded like a much heavier car. It has put me off ever buying that model MG

DISAPPOINTINGLY IMPOSSIBLE TO RECOMMEND
After many years of renting cars in Australia and overseas, this has been the first ever to be, to say the least, unsatisfactory.
Some hours after returning the vehicle to the depot, the representative handling the return called to say that the documentation given at the beginning of the hire period was in fact for a car different from the one we were given. The document given showed damage that matched that was evident on the car used. Supposedly, none of this was shown on the “correct” document not provided. Requests for a copy of the proper document were met with assurances that it would be provided the following day when the manager would also make contact. Neither ever happened and no apology was ever forthcoming.
During the period of hire the vehicle communication system repeatedly announced that a service was overdue. On return, the representative’s response was that the logbook showed the service had been done. The obvious question is whether it was the car or the logbook that was faulty.
The arrogant attitude of the company representative throughout all communications did not help either.
It must be added here that dealings with the Head Office couldn’t be faulted in terms of efficiency, helpfulness and attitude toward the customer. Lessons that should be a model for the staff of the Darwin city depot.

Not supplied with a full tank
The vehicle was not supplied with a full tank. It had just over 500ks of fuel, which we assumed was full but turned out the vehicle required around 600k plus to be full. On returning the vehicle we filled it to more than what was supplied to us, however we were charged almost $30 extra for the fuel top up plus an $85 refuelling charge. Advised Bargain of this issue and they requested a photo of the fuel gauge from when we picked up the vehicle. We hadn’t taken a photo as we wrongly assumed it was full. We only noticed how much was fuel in the tank as we were looking at how many kms of fuel/driving we were about to do to work out when we next might need to fuel up. Not the best experience.
