A very easy pleasant experience
A very easy pleasant experience. Our car was in very good condition,clean and ready to go. Service was friendly,helpful and efficient. This is our second time booking Bargain Car Hire in Darwin and would not hesitate to book again

Do not book a vehicle for pickup or return on a sunday morning
The pick up experience on the Sunday morning was far from being satisfactory, Only one staff member was on duty in the office with a queue of people waiting to pick up their vehicles and at the same time others were returning their vehicles which had to be checked for damage by the same individual in the office, thus all customers involved were seriously delayed, my personal delay to collect my vehicle was 2 hours. Also the vehicles for collection were not ready, still requiring vaccuming and washing by again only one staf member which added to the delays caused by the lack of staff in the office. This delay soured my overall experience with Bargain Car Rentals in Darwin.

I booked a car with unlimited klms then found that Bargain cars without my authority debit my credit card for extra klms travelled. I am still seeking a refund without no satisfaction with this company. Would never book with them again

I’m really sorry to hear about the billing issue - we understand there was an error with the booking and it has been rectified during your interaction with our staff.
These can take a few days to get through everything due to bank movements but rest assured everything is on its way.
We were never told about the free250km…
We were never told about the free250km & .30c per km over the 250km. The way we found out was when we noticed $47 taken from our account. We then received 2 emails after the car return. 1st one was invoice for the $47 then a minute later we received the 2nd for all the information on the car rental which stated the information on the 250 free km & additional km.

Adeliade rental was great, Darwin was poor. No cars ready, lines out the door, alot of were sorry but very frustrating not only for us but the others waiting for their car to be ready

The staff member we dealt with was absolutely fantastic. He was very helpful and friendly, professional and prompt. The car was perfect, clean and ran like a dream. The cost was so reasonable especially for the size of the car we hired. Highly recommended Bargain car rentals Darwin city.
