Very smooth service.

The price point was excellent. I rented an Audi Q5 at a very competitive rate, which was a big plus. However, the car wasn’t as well-maintained as expected—it felt a bit bumpy even on the highway, which is unusual for a Q5 and unfortunately caused some car sickness for my wife while she was sitting in the back.

Aside from that, the overall experience was decent. One thing to note is that during peak periods, collecting the car can take quite a while, so it’s best to allow extra time for pickup.

Overall, good value for money, but there’s room for improvement in vehicle condition and wait times.

I am an Australian citizen. If you're from overseas, i suggest you book direct and not go through third parties website. Go direct and buy extra insurance from the company website. This will save you the insurance troubles(if any).
If you go hire a car from a third party and you get into an accident, you need to pay $$$ first to the hire car company then get reimbursed later by your third party.
I picked up in Hobart downtown and returned the car at Hobart airport. Was breezy easy. Also it will be faster than if you fill in all your details on your mobile before you pick up the car. This will save you heaps of time. I saw people having to stand at the register and fill in details.

I used Bargain Car Rentals for a 15 day period with one of their cars. The process in the start and during the time, that I used the car, was smooth enough, but the trouble began at the end of the lease.

During my time using the car I scratched the front, one that I did not hide from them, as I have a third party insurance. The only thing my insurance wanted was to receive my contract and a damage report, which I was assured by a worker at the rental site that I would get.

So far, I have received my contract, and have written multiple times to receive the damage report, and to have questions answered about how and when they take the money from my account.

This gives no visibility into how they operate, and makes the whole process extremely irritable.

We got the same car. It was really nice new and awesome.

Check in and return was fast and easy, the car was fantastic, the price was great, and very helpful staff in Hobart City - thank you!

The person who processed us when we picked up our car was very thorough and personable

I ordered Hyundai Accent and got MG3. I was told it,'s the same category, but in reality it was junk made in China.
It's unbelievable that you call it a car. It can't handle hills, it's noisy, every bump in the road breaks the car apart, it's a fule guzzler, and it doesn't have an Android connection.
In short, it's a tin box on wheels.
How can you not be ashamed to provide such a car and call it compatible with Hyundai Accent?
The whole trip was ruined because of this!
The service of the rental staff at the airport in Hobart was also disgraceful

The team in Hobart City are always on point - they now recognise that I’m a frequent renter- the vehicle is always ready, always in excellent condition and whoever I deal with is friendly and helpful

Everything and everyone were great. The only problem was the windscreen wiper blades should have been replaced: they dragged awfully across the windscreen when in use. I forgot to mention to the staff member on return of vehicle.

Stacey at the Hobart office pickup was very helpful and good with customers including overseas drivers. On return I had another chap I've met before who's terrific with people. Great humour. Cars are OK. No great expectations from MGs. Good price at the time.

The car was very new. It was my first drive of a hybrid. But the fellow who served us, Stacey, was extremely helpful. I left there very pleased.

Ease of booking online,upon arrival at the depot contact was all perfect.

Waited a long time to get car not enough team members on could do with ar least one more the girl tried to frighten me into paying more money for insurance because I had with different company but the return was easy

Great. Very efficient office lady, reasonable prices, excellent car and easy pick up and drop off

Good price to hire a small car which was pretty ordinary but adequate.
Short staffed in the office and had to wait in a long line for almost an hour past the designated pickup time. When we were finally served the young lady was admirable and went above and beyond.

My only negative feedback…when I had an issue with the battery, the girl at the call center basically accused me of doing something to the car; to make the battery not work. She would not answer my questions.

But the battery got fixed without a hitch-:)
