Good service although it takes a while to sort the collection. No mention of how tolls will be charged, and the admin fee for each individual toll was horrendous.

I rented a car for more than two months. The staff are friendly, competent and efficient. The rental prices are great. They take care of tolls. The admin fee is fair. They were flexible with my return time which I had to keep extending. I’d recommend Bargain Car Rentals.

Airport pickup was convenient
Airport pickup was convenient, but the after-hours return process was poorly organised with no designated parking. I received no confirmation that the car had been returned and was later charged several unexplained debits. Very disappointing communication and lack of transparency.

While if necessary we can take out of hours drop offs for our vehicles it is not something we provision for due to our bookings only being booked for the office hours meaning our staff can discuss anything necessary with you on return.
After a return of the vehicle we do operate on a no news is good news basis, if you do not hear from us everything has been logged and would proceed as planned.
Any charges that do come through from us are always accompanied with an invoice/receipt that heads out to the email address we have on file, your booking being in Sydney that may have been for toll roads that were used during your booking and those do sometimes end up in your spam/junk folder.

Easy to pickup and shuttle service great.
Easy to pickup, shuttle driver courteous. Fast drop off and shuttle back to airport. Price definitely worth the extra step of getting their shuttle to the office outside the airport.

Great service, value and vehicle
Both the service and the vehicle were great. We booked a luxury standard size SUV and we were assigned with a brand new Mercedes Benz GLB. It just cost us AUD$230. Great deal! We had a great journey.

Great friendly staff with great prices, but unfortunately
Great friendly staff with great prices. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend if you want the ease of pick up and drop offs at the airport. The base is located out of the Sydney airport but they provide a free shuttle. It became a nightmare at drop off before hours as we have a 7 month old. Having to arrange a taxi with an infant car seat costed us more than anticipated and would have been cheaper to have booked a car rental AT the airport.

I originally booked a Kia SUV
I originally booked a Kia SUV, but when I arrived, I was given an MG instead. I understand that rental companies may substitute vehicles with a similar class if the booked model is unavailable. However, the branch had almost all MG vehicles available, while the only Kia on site was a 7-seater.
I was very disappointed with the replacement. The MG lacked power, was less fuel-efficient than expected, and the exterior even had visible rust. Overall, it did not provide a comparable driving experience to the Kia SUV I had booked.
I hope the company can improve its vehicle allocation process and ensure that replacement vehicles are of similar quality and condition in the future.
