Friendly service and shuttle bus to and from airport

Great service and price

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the service. Everyone was very friendly, the vehicle was clean and in excellent condition, and the airport transfer for my family was comfortable and hassle-free. The return service was also very punctual. I will definitely continue using their services and would highly recommend them to others. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Thanks !!!!!

Had to call many times to get picked up from airport. Shuttle should run every hour or CSR need to be on top of pickup pertaining to customers flying in that particular day and time. Huge communication problems.

Unbelievable price! 5-day rental. Once I got to the location, getting the car was smooth and efficient. Shuttle service from the airport was unavailable as I did not have an Australian phone number. Some online scheduling service should be established. My compact MG had some concerning rattles on city roads, but was quiet on the highway. Return process was efficient and airport shuttle convenient. Staff was courteous and helpful. I recommend.

Extremely disappointing experience. Our rental van broke down during normal use and was towed, leaving our family stranded in Canberra — including an elderly uncle and a wheelchair user.
Despite multiple emails and phone calls, we received no response at all from Bargain Car Rentals. No update on the van, no offer of a replacement vehicle, no refund for the days we paid for but couldn’t use, and no assistance of any kind.
Their lack of communication caused real harm: my elderly uncle was rushed to hospital, and because they left us without a suitable vehicle, we were unable to visit him. We had to rely on Uber, Uber Eats, and eventually pay for bus tickets back to Sydney.
This company failed to provide a roadworthy vehicle and failed to provide any support when it broke down. I cannot recommend them.

Easy to deal with and convenient

The vehicle I received was missing or stuttering when driven any distance. I returned it to be given another vehicle that 'missed' less but was disconcerting to drive! Better maintenance required!

Staff and service excellent! Car was a new model- ready and clean. We utilized the shuttle both ways which does require a phone call but it was very reliable. The price was great!

I was told that my rental was fine by staff and still haven’t received my money back.

I was visiting from the US and had come from Melbourne after a 5 day stay. I had an MG in Melbourne and wanted something nicer in Sydney so I rented an Audi Q3 (I have a Q7 at home). The car was a 2022 and had 112687 km (70020 miles) on it, which I found to be high for a rental. The MG in Melbourne had 15000km on it and the Sorento I had in New Zealand only had 5000km. The Audi was clean and drove fine, we had no issues with it at all after driving 1200km. I got the full protection insurance and the road hazard protection but it would have been a little extra piece of mind if the vehicle had less km on it. This never was an issue but it always left a little doubt in my mind. The customer service and vehicle availability were great. I was slightly concerned due to some other reviews about this rental company due to people reserving a luxury car and getting down graded due to lack of inventory and not being reimbursed for the higher cost. There were other reviews of people who had received vehicles that weren't Road worthy and broke down during their rental. I had none of these issues but I can see that being a possibility with high km vehicles if they aren't maintaining their fleet. My experience was as easy as it can be, the vehicle worked as intended and was in great shape and we were able to explore Sydney and beyond with no issues. The price was also an incredible deal, I used CarJet as a third party to do all 3 rentals and their prices were the lowest by far. The 4 day Audi Q3 rental was $260 ASD or $65ASD a day that's $45.50 USD a day as of the rental date!
