Starter problems after driving down from Alnwick Northumberland to visit relatives.
Battery shop were prompt, efficient, and reasonable cost.
New battery needed, problem solved.
Highly recommended.

Do not be fooled! Following excitement that I could revive old tools, placed order mid October in the sum of £88. Following first enquiry they answered 'stock taking delay'. no response to 2 further enquiries. Lodged claim 7th Jan 22 for refund via credit card Co.

sent back batteries that did not fit refuse refund i will be sure to tell everyone not to buy anything from you they were sent back the day after receiving them

Website is a scam like everyone said dont use it, they scammed out of a charger and claim to be uk based company but are from China, avoid at all cost.

It is a complete scam. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Ordered paid by PayPal no confirmation email no reply to subsequent emails enquiry about delivery etc

This appears to be a UK based company... I bought a Macbook charger... then get email stating item shipped from China and to expect about 15 day delivery! Tried to email but address rejected by my server as invalid. After 18 days, contacted seller via PayPal and they replied stating item en-route and giving tracking. This shows item in Holland 8 days after order and as part of an NL Post 'semi tracked mixed bag'. All misleading and frustrating. Avoid this company.

Ordered a samsung laptop charger. After one month and some email exchanges, the product is still in the warehouse. I've asked for a refund and they said it will be issued within 5 to 7 days.

Unfortunately I didn't see these reviews before purchasing a Laptop battery - it arrived but failed after a couple of months. No reply to emails, so I guess I'm going to have to write off my money. Lesson learned.

They sent the wrong product and when I ask to return it they asked me extremely unreasonable technical questions about the product. Even if you order the right product they will send whatever they have. This is not a UK shop so it is almost imposible to recover your money or return the product if it doesn't work or if they messed up your order

Unfortunately i didn't read these reviews before ordering a battery from these cowboys. Much the same as the people on here, robbed blind. no UK address to send battery back so a postage cost (£6 less than the cost of the battery), with no promise of a return. They even have UK in their title! So deliberately misleading. Absolute disgrace of a 'company'.

I rate this company ZERO stars. They pretend to be a UK company and use a name closely resembling another that is UK based. I ordered batteries from them and they sent the wrong ones - their error. After contacting them they wanted the incorrect battereis sent back to China (£10 my cost) and also asked for photos etc to verify that my claim was correct. They said that I would be refunded when they received the batteries. FOUR MONTHS later, after monthly follow-ups, they admitted that the batteries had been received there and promised a refund the following week. Nothing arrived. Every week I chased and they replied with excuses about system changes, updates to their systems etc, each time committing to refund the next week. Now NINE MONTHS later I am still chasing and sometimes get another 'next week' reply and sometimes nothing at all. We in the UK are helpless as complaining to Trading Standards does nothing.
I would love to find out how to get some action from the Chinese Trade Delegation but they seem to be anonymous. JUST STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

battery-shop.co.uk is based in China and they will not deliver. I have waited over 6 weeks and still nothing!
I contacted customer service and they said that the parcel was involved in an accident.
They supplied a tracking number that dose not work.

Do yourself a favour and AVOID this despicable website.

If I could rate them with I minus I would. They don't deserve even one star. They have a UK domain but emails come with Chinese characters. This is misleading. I ordered the item, got some dodgy email about the order being processed the following working day. I contacted them yesterday and they replied that the sending was delayed due to "stock-tacking". I've been scammed once already, should have looked here before ordering. I suspect that the reviews that are over 1 star are fake too.

Well, after reading so many negative reviews of this company, I was really concerned, but, my order did arrive on the third day as promised; so well done Battery Shop.
I would say that communication was lacking and could have been better, but the correct battery arrived and within the predicted timeframe.

Ordered a laptop battery in the belief it was from a UK based company on 26th Feb 21. To date NO delivery.

Emailed me 26.2.21 saying this is being sent from China via China Post and takes about 15 days.

22.3.21 I emailed them chasing the order & they responded same day saying it had been resent and because of the reduced flights to Europe due to Covid-19 but will be with me in 10-20 working days.

NOTE while passengers flights have vastly reduced in numbers due to Covid-19 CARGO FLIGHTS REMAIN LARGELY UNAFFECTED. ( I should know. I work in operations management for a worldwide delivery company. 30 years plus experience)

I replied asking them who the carrier is in the UK. They replied with a link to the tracking which showed the a link but doesn't say who the carrier is in the UK

30.3.21 another email sent chasing the order

They responded with

"Really sorry for all inconvenience. it seems there is something wrong with the delivery and the shipping company. We will contact the company to check what is the problem and where is the parcel. We beg you wait for some more days and we will solve the problem for you.

Sorry again and thank you for your kind understanding."

Ordered a drill battery assuming from Uk company. A day later I got an email saying order shipped from China and would take minimum of 15 days. Immediately asked to cancel order and get refund but I was told it had been shipped so I'd have to return it for a refund.
I will see if the battery ever arrives but it's a highly unsatisfactory service. Obviously I wanted the battery for a DIY job and now have to wait or shell out again with some other company for another battery or a new drill.

Ordered mac laptop charger in end of April 2020 as according to their website is a UK company and next day delivery guaranteed. Email received saying being delivered from China but didn't receive the chargers until late June 2020, then it was the wrong charger sent, returned to them beginning of July 2021, despite numerous emails they claim it was not received until end of December 2021, still awaiting refund even though I am consistently emailing them. Mind I did have an email response at the end of December, and nothing since.
