This company is claiming to be British. They even have a British flag on its site. WELL ITS NOT. It IS in fact a complete con. I ordered a battery 21/06/18 with a promise of delivery a week or so later. Realising my mistake 2 days after the delivery date I sent an email to the company. They sent an email back with someone elses order on it for two batteries. After questioning this they sent me an email apologising but with new delivery dates of 7 to 8 working days with the possibility of 10 to 15 working days AND that it was in the post and gave me a tracking number. The tracking number was false of course. I raised a complaint with PayPal, who luckily, i had bought it through. After about a week my money was returned. I therefor urge you not to buy Chinese, check thoroughly where the company is and don't buy batteries through ebay. I bought through another company on AMAZON and received my battery 2 working days later. Thanks PayPal that's not the first time they came up trumps and thanks Amazon even though I needed to pay postage it turned out cheaper and I also received my battery. which works great and my computer is now charging as it's supposed to.

Beware this company. Indeed if it is a company, not some minor go-between. Items you purchase are dispatched from China, arriving up to ten days later than you are told to expect.

Woe betide you if you need to return the item. The 'contact us' link, on their website doesn't work. you can only expect a reply to the odd email. When eventually you get a reply from them telling you to return it, they politely tell you not to return the item from where it was sent, but fail to tell you where to send it to.

After eventually returning the item by post unopened and in original packaging, they deny having received it, despite proof of it being delivered by Royal Mail.

What a sham. It is now seven weeks and still no satisfaction. Avoid these people like the plague.

I ordered a battery for my old Porsche Boxster. It arrived and I fitted it. After a few weeks it failed and checking I found that the body of the battery was split. I sent photographs of the split and battery ID and expected it would be exchanged under guarantee.
I was informed that as during its life part of the serial number on a thin piece of had been damaged by abrasion and was unreadable they would have nothing to do with it.
I was able to buy a similar priced battery from a local supplier.

Having read other customers reviews, I can empathise with some of their concerns about this company. I ordered a charger for my ibook and was immediately sent an email stating that my order would be processed the next working day. All seemed well and good. For some reason I typed battery-shop.co.uk review into google and suddenly found very negative reviews about the company and how it wasn't based in the UK and how it was all a scam.

On the face of it, the company did appear to be UK based, they gave a UK address for returns and had a .co.uk registered domain. However soon after placing the order, i too received a second email stating that it may take up to 15 days to have my order shipped from China. At this point alarm bells started ringing. I felt I had been scammed.

However, just a few days after placing my order, the charger I ordered did arrive. It seems to work ok and i have no reason to be negative about my transaction with this company. To the best of my knowledge, I don't believe this is a fraudulent company, however I do agree that they may appear to be misleading customers about where they are actually based.

Website said "fast delivery," but company then says 15 days delivery.
.co.uk website implied UK company. Return address on package says Southall, London. In fact they DEMAND that you return the package at your own expense to CHINA before considering a refund. This is a total SCAM.
Please go elsewhere, in fact anywhere else. These are not good people and from my experience, you, if you have a problem are virtually guaranteed to be disappointed!! If I could have awarded ZERO Stars or MINUS Stars then I would have.

Do not touch!! I did not realise they are based in China. I need to return a battery - they said send to china!!

Stupid company from China. Don't buy from them, they don't understand the concept of warranty and their products are shitttttty as hell.
