No such thing as a free book!
I thought the free book was a trial (i.e. that you get to examine the free book first before deciding whether to continue with a monthly subscription). This isn't the case; they took the money for the subscription immediately. I cancelled, but am still out of pocket for a month's subscription, and haven't yet received a book (I'm told it will be three weeks from when I ordered). Once it does arrive, it will have cost a month's subscription - it will not be free. I can't comment on the books themselves as I haven't received one yet, but the 'free book' seems to me to be a misleading claim to get people to subscribe - you pay from the first book onwards, so there's no free trial. Hopefully the book will be worth the money once it arrives, but I would have liked the opportunity to examine one first.

Do not get suckered into their discounted book price. Even though you will have thought you have canceled your subscription right away, you have not and you WILL get charged.

Poor Service - Shady tactics
I ordered these for my grandkids under the special they had for $1. You had to cancel within the 30 day trial period. I tried several times to cancel on their site within the trial period. It would not recognize my email etc. Over and over I tried. Finally it worked after clicking another link other than login. I was billed $27.98 three times!! They acknowledged in their email response to me that they were aware of the glitch and refused any refunds. I finally got them to refund one after threatening a bad review. I don't like to be pushed to that point but $27.98 x 3 is not cheap. I am still fighting to get the other two charges refunded.

Took a long time to arrive, not great quality
Took four weeks for first book to arrive, slightly damaged from only being in a hardback envelope and smaller than I was expecting for the cost.

These are deceiving customers
These are deceiving customers. They provide cheap booklet and then charge for subscription. I paid for a single booklet. They are very sneaky. There responds to my query was basically sod off not our problem you got duped.
I do not recommend at all.

A Great Idea
The book I ordered arrived and it was better than I imagined, sadly that day my energy company informed consumers how much we were to be charged for energy over the next three months. I could not afford the book subscription and the increase in energy prices.
