Hard to say goodbye

We ordered a free beer box. Unfortunately, we understand that we don’t drink much right now (only had 2 cans for a month) and there is no sense in such subscription.
The company is not really friendly in this case. They make it so complicated to cancel subscription. You have to press button “cancel” million times and then you still haven’t cancelled it. At the end website offers you to call and cancel it.
It’s a very aggressive way to keep people.
I wouldn’t use this service only because of such actions.

Bordering on a scam

The "free beer" was advertised through Evri. I should have known this would be one terrible company promoting another. The cancellation procedure is ridiculous. You try to cancel through the website, and get bombarded with page after page of nonsense before you're told you need to call to cancel. When you call, nobody answers. So, you email instead. When you email, somebody calls you back but they do not cancel your order. Instead, they tell you someone will email you. This email is an attempt to persuade you not to cancel. Our subscription still hasn't been cancelled...

Awful company

Awful cancellation process and even when you do get through to someone, they fail to action it. I was very surprised to receive an email to say my next box was on the way without any forewarning after cancelling. They’ve then refused to refund it.

I have reported this company to the CMA

I have reported this company to my bank and to the CMA who protects consumers from illegal marketing practices which this clearly is from reading the other reviews. I got a free case of beer with my concert tickets and was only supposed to pay for the delivery. Like many I was unknowingly signed up to a subscription that I did not authorise and when I called to get this reversed I was told that I will not be refunded. I will be refusing the delivery when it arrives and I will not let this go. I run my own business and I am here trying to do it honestly and here is a company who just railroads people into false subscriptions and making money off innocent people. It's corrupt and I will not let this go

Be VERY CAREFUL before giving them your card details.

Signed up for the trial which also said I could cancel quick and easily on line. This is not true, it is neither quick nor easy to cancel, as other reviewers have stated - after page after page of offers, they finally tell you that you must call them, but only during the hours of Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. This is not possible for me - so I did what they suggested to other reviewers and I dropped them an email (one copy direct to their customer service email address and another copy on their website). After one week, I have had no response to either emails. I now have to call the bank to cancel my card to stop these people from taking money. The sad thing is, I liked the trial - I just can't afford it coming up to Christmas but would have gladly signed up again in the new year. After this experience I will never go near them again.

Total scam with crap beeers

Total scam! The initial offer is tempting 6 or 8 beers for £7. The beers were crap and they stored my card details without me knowing, even though there were no card details saved online in my account. Never sent any notice that it was a going to come out in a few days. Total scam!

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

Scam

Makes you jump through hoops to cancel, and then makes you phone them, and then pretends that they can't find your account. AVOID.

I hate that they make it so difficult…

I hate that they make it so difficult to cancel. The drinks are ok but definitely overpriced for what they are. Get the free box and just remember to cancel is my best advice related to this service.

Mixed feelings

It’s good if you want the beer but otherwise it’s very irritating. You’ll receive emails, letters, and generally find that you have to call to cancel because they’re a “small” company. They offer a wonderful magazine and selection of beers, so it’s worth trying but just be aware first.

Tasteless beer-Go to Lidl instead

Aside from the fact others seem to find it impossible to cancel (I uses a disposable card and deleted it), the beer is also an issue.
With all the fancy stick on labels and descriptions on the cans, the beer is next to tasteless in many cases (I had the asian one) and in those with any flavour, they would fall short of IPA's found in Lidl!(Which are good).Utterly underwhelming and utter shite!

An absolute subscription scam. AVIOD AVIOD AVOID!

An absolute subscription scam. Won a case of beer from deliveroo only to be subscribed to a beer subscription in the background. After realising that they are a subscription service, I tried to cancel subscription, only to be told to wait for delivery.

After waiting a few days, I went into their website to cancel, only to be subjected to around 5 attempts to stop me before telling me I must call in to cancel.

AVIOD AVIOD AVIOD!

Abysmal cancellation policy

Abysmal cancellation policy, following very poor value for money beers, bloated by a 15g bag of snacks and £8 "magazine". It's an absolute rip off.
They claim you can cancel it online, but then have to call them for some Muppet in marketing to do the hard sell on you for half an hour... Utter scam artists. Stay well clear.

Seem to make it impossible to cancel

I won a free case of wine (just paying for postage) which was really exciting until I realised I had been signed up for a subscription which I didn't want. I went through the full process to cancel only to then receive a "to cancel, call this number". I have now been on hold for nearly 30min, just for a simple cancellation request.

Like everyone else I fell for the free…

Like everyone else I fell for the free beers just paying postage, had no idea it was a rolling subscription,
Last night I received an email saying they had sent out my beers and was £27. Checked my bank account and yes £27 pending! Sent three emails cancelling but of course the bank will pay my £27 cos it’s pending and I cannot get it back. I’m fuming. I haven’t even had one of the beers yet, 75 year old female, I just bought them in case a guest fancied a beer. I’ve now cancelled 🤞but I’m going to try to get my money back 🤞 and refuse the delivery. Bunch of shysters.

Scammy company!

Didn’t receive my delivery as driver had left it in an ‘outhouse’ (we dont have an outhouse). I asked for a refund as im on holiday for the next 3 weeks. They said they don’t do refunds, just replacements (bs). I was then told to email them when im back from holiday but have just sent me out a replacement anyway. Do not use this company!
