Beer Sniffers 

Ordered over a month ago and still not received anything. Sent two emails, tried to call 7 times and never heard anything from them.

Delivery was a little slow, after I contacted them I was told that fresh stock was on the way, would have been better if they had notified in advance the stock situation. The beer is great, genuine US beer is hard to find.

Wonderful service, very personal.

Ordered large amount of beer on 23 August via website and delivery was stated 01 September. Received order confirmation but no details about delivery. Emailed on due date to enquire. They replied next day stating only incorrect version of beer had been received from supplier but they were expecting it on 04 Sept and it would be shipped asap. I replied same day to enquire what timescale was deemed as asap. Emailed again on 05 Sept as heard nothing, no reply.
Beer arrived unexpectedly on 09 Sept with no comms from Beer Sniffers beforehand (or since) regarding the order.
Obviously, the outcome this time was good as I received what I had paid for, but shame about their lack of correspondence with keeping their customers informed and updated.

I order a variety of beers on 16th July 2025.
Nothing arrived including a confirmation note. I received a very apologetic reply after my second chase saying they would send the beers very soon. Still nothing arrived. Two more chases and no beer!!! Is this a scam??? Can’t reclaim the money via my credit card as I don’t have full details of the beer. Very angry that I’ve be scammed!!!

Do not use this company! Wrong items sent with no explanation. If the beers I ordered were out of stock why not show this on the website before I ordered them. Numerous emails sent with only one reply and now nothing. Will definitely not be using this company again.

Ordered some beers for my friend as a birthday gift. Sent the wrong beer and they ignore all emails to correct it. Crooks. £27 out of pocket and my friend let down. They even got his name wrong on the birthday message, or we have Ben's birthday beers! Who knows.

I ordered 6 beers. 5 of one specific kind for my friends birthday and another additional for something a bit different. I was given no indication of how long it would take to arrive and when it finally arrived I received a note saying that the beers I had ordered were out of stock and I was sent 6 of the additional as opposed to 1. If I had known this was out of stock, I would not have purchased.

Shocking from start to finish. Sent items that I had not ordered, assuredly as a replacement for items out of stock, however did not contact me in advance to discuss or confirm I was happy with this. The items were part of a birthday present and were not appropriate as they were both low/non alcoholic.

I’ve sent numerous emails over the last few weeks with no response. The website states you have to contact them for returns yet no response has been received.

I would avoid this company at all costs because they clearly do not value customer service or transparency. I will be trying to recoup my money via my bank and will be reporting them further as I’ve had no response to my attempted contact

No confirmation of the order, no response to communication and unsurprisingly- no actual product delivered.

Don't go near them

Great products and good choice. A small substitution made but a note was placed with the order to contact them if this was an issue, it wasn’t. Only small point I would make is there was no update to say the order has been despatched or was on its way as usually happens with online orders. Would order again.

No confirmation of order placed, poor customer service - over a week for an email response, answerphone and no response when message left. Over a month of promises and still no beer!

Ordered beer from here which wasn’t delivered. A couple of weeks later we were asked if we would like something different or a refund. We asked for the refund but never received it. I would avoid.

Really slow delivery and order was wrong. Called 3 times and sent numerous emails. No responses. Gave up, drank the beer I didn't really want and decided not to use this company again.

I have used this company before and was very pleased with them so I placed another order. I do not know what has happened to them but my order was never acknowledged, I had to chase it up by email over a week after placing it. This email was not responded to for 4 days; I then got an apology, an explanation and an offer of free additional beers for my inconvenience. And then ………nothing happened. I left a voicemail, no call returned and a further email, unanswered. Finally, three weeks after making the order I asked for a refund via PayPal. This seemed to prompt an email suggesting delivery by courier, I no longer wanted the beers and told them so on another voicemail which was never replied to. PayPal have settled my claim finding in my favour, as the tracking number provided for my order was apparently not traceable. Thank goodness I paid via PayPal!
So sad for a company that had once been very good.
I will not attempt to use again and would suggest avoidance

I was delivered beers post their best before date. Did raise it with them but no response till date. Their customer service used to be great and I have order multiple times in the past but no more. Not ordering again.

Put in my order over a month ago, was told it was being dispatched, then heard nothing for weeks and received no reply to my emails or phone calls. Eventually 10 beers (instead of the 4 ordered) arrived, only one was correct, and 6 were non-alcoholic when I'd ordered alcoholic beers. I emailed for a refund and received no reply. This could have all been solved, and they could have saved themselves a bad review, if they had just emailed in the first instance to say they couldn't fulfil the order. Just awful all round.

Completely wrong order, left multiple emails with no response.

They did not respond to my emails about my order at all. Alternative beers substituted for what I ordered without communication or choice. It took two weeks for my order to arrive. I have no trust in this company I'm afraid and would not order from them again.

The last two orders have contained many substitutes. They put in some extra beers but I really wanted the ones I ordered so I've stopped using them.
