Quick efficient and reasonably priced

Ben was helpful in explaining what I did -and did not - need to do to proceed with work in removing our chimney. He made sensible suggestions which we followed. Iwould happily use the company again.

My first interaction with Ben at Benco Design was for a steel calculation for my new bay window. Since he did a fantastic job of that I got him to do all the structural design and calculations for my loft conversion and rear extention.

I can honestly say he is very Professional and knowledgeable in what he does, at the same time he provides a very personal service. Whenever there were issues Ben was only a phone call to away advising us accordingly I will definitely use Ben for any future projects. I would highly recommend Benco Design for anyone looking for a professional structural engineer.

I have booked a structural engineer service for wall removal. Gentleman came in on time, did the scan and told me to that plan will be sent to me when ready. I can't remember now exactly how long I was told to wait, but I had my plan ready literally few days after, so I'm really impressed how quick they are!
Afterwards, every time I had any questions to my plan, they were always there to help and answer it with detailed explanation. Communication over WhatsApp is quick and really top level.
Would recommend to anyone based on my example. I have no knowledge about renovations/removing walls etc., and Benco just made my life easy.

I contacted BENCo late in the day because the engineer our architect had previously used couldn’t be contacted. Benco were absolutely wonderful. Michael arrived to to the measurements, very friendly and professional and then the building calculations were produced so swiftly and accurately allowing our builder to get started without delay. I cannot praise BENCo highly enough. It’s always a concern when you don’t know people but I am so VERY grateful for their fast service and hard work producing the engineering drawings. THANK YOU doesn’t come close. Do not hesitate to use this this company, I highly recommend them.

Ben supported us with engineering and structural calculations and documentation for our home renovation works. He was really thorough and produced the documents quickly. He is very personable and gave relevant advice to us and points we should consider which as first time home renovators is so helpful and made the process feel less daunting!

My Experience with Benco has been professional, skilled and efficient.

I needed a structural report to assist me with finding the root cause of mysterious cracks I was experiencing.

I contacted Benco and by the end of a day a qualified surveyor was at my house performing an inspection and giving me sound advice on how to proceed, with the full report arriving a couple of days later.

I would not hesitate to recommend Benco Design.

My dealings with Ben and his team have been first class. I needed a full structural report completed on my property in double quick time so I could proceed with the sale of my property and Benco most definitely delivered. Ben kept in regular contact with me over text, email and phone and both him and his associate were extremely professional and friendly. The report was detailed and came complete with pictures and accurate descriptions. A great job!

Professional service from start to finish.
Everybody else did not want to know, the rest just want to sit behind there desks and do the easy stuff.
BENCO did a site visit within days and had it drawn up within a couple of weeks.
Also did more visits to make sure everything was ok.
If I needed any advice they were only a phone call away.
I would highly recommend this firm they went above and beyond what they needed to do and at a VERY competitive price.

Ben came into sort out another engineers mistake , he was efficient, helpful and did a great job .

Outstanding.
We had Benco Design do all the structural calculations and drawings for our extension and they were outstanding from start to finish. Ben is very easy to talk to and was able to explain to us in simple terms exactly what would be required, why it would be required and then quickly produce the drawings for everyone’s approval.
He was always available at short notice to offer assistance and clarification when required from either the Builders or Building Control and was able to come up with quick and cost effective solutions when changes from original plans were required.
No delays, no chasing, no waiting, just straight forward professionalism.
I would not hesitate for a second to recommend them to anyone I know.

Ben supervised all our structural engineering calculations for our kitchen side return project, including complicated cranked steel work. It was produced quickly and at a competitive rate. He also helped during the build when the building inspector had more queries to sort out some quick solutions.
