I ordered a chest of drawers from Benhomes and waited weeks without any sign of it. When enquiring the phone number is left permanently unanswered, as are any emails sent to them. No reply at all.

Weeks became months and there was still no sign of the order. With no way of contacting them I resorted to messaging via their Facebook page, they did reply and said they would have a 'quick look' to see what the issue was. From there, days passed without any reply. Eventually I messaged them for a refund - still no answer.

It was only when I messaged them days later to say I would contact the credit card company to claim a refund and inform Mastercard that Benhomes were taking orders and payments via their card and not fulfilling the orders, that they eventually issued the refund.

Benhomes gave no explanation for the delay with the order, no alternative product, no reason, no apology - absolutely nothing, except to say that 'we dont use Facebook as a medium for communication'.

In all, dealing with Benhomes was a complete and utter waste of time. Benhomes may have a nice looking website with what appears to be accolades and endorsements on their site but the reality is they will take your money and leave you hanging, not knowing from one week to the next whether you'll actually get your order - with non-existent customer service. Never again.

I ordered 6 dining chairs in December which showed on their website as soon to be in stock. As I wasnt moving in to my new home yet I thought that "soon" would be a month or 2 and that would be okay.
A month later I asked for an update. No response. I email again 2 weeks later and I get an apology and an offer of alternative chairs. I decline because I wanted the chair that I had ordered and I was happy to.wait a bit longer.

A month later I email again and am again told that they did not have any idea when the chairs would be re stocked , although they still showed on their website as "soon in stock". Again I was offered alternatives. I declined again.

2 months later I email again asking for the order to be cancelled of the chairs were not in stock. We are in May by now. It's been 6 months. I get a response talking about the "global situation" offering a discount on different chairs but no response to my request for cancellation.

I send 2 further emails asking for a refund but do.not get a response

Eventually I raised a dispute with my credit card company.

I would not reccomend! Especially if the item is "soon in stock".

Ordered 4 dining chairs from Benhomes. Was kept informed at each stage of shipment including dispatch & delivery which was extremely useful. When the chairs arrived, they were even better than expected. Excellent quality, very comfortable and add a real touch of class to our dining area. So much so, we have just ordered two more! Thank you!

Product arrived quickly after ordering and fits in well with our decor. I was saved by Benhomes as I forgot to measure my doorways but was given good advice about taking the legs off the chair and replacing them and this worked brilliantly. I will be looking at their site again when making any future furniture purchases.

Item was despatched very quickly and was as described. Did not arrive on the day indicated, but this was down to the courier firm. Very pleased with item.

The quality is outstanding and I found them very easy to assemble. They have really exceeded my expectations, they're stunning and so SO much better then anything similar which I have seen in highstreet stores. Benhomes kept me informed from ordering through to delivery, their customer service skills spoke volumes!! The stools were delivered within the 1 hour time slot given and within 24hours of placing my order. Highly recommend. This is my 3rd time purchasing from them and I will be ordering from them again! Cannot fault them or their products in anyway :)

We have just purchased a solid wood rustic side board from BenHomes and honestly cannot rate them enough.
The furniture is top quality and well made.
The communication from them has been excellent, with speedy responses through out the process.
Would recommend to friends and family any time.
We will be back for more soon!!

Unfortunately Benhomes had an issue with a third party who was unable to fulfill my order.

This would not be a problem except the many hours I spent fruitlessly trying to contact them for a resolution, then the lies and false promises of a refund that never appeared.

In responses below they will claim they don't need to pay a refund for 14 days, however a) there was no communication to me in the 11 days I waited for a refund after I was told had already been made, and b) is only relevant to returns for distance selling, not where the supplier has cancelled the order.

Over and over again there was no communication, and then ignoring of the Paypal refund process resulting in me finally getting my money back 68 days after I paid it, for goods that never arrived.

The goods they couldn't send to me are still listed on the website.

I would highly discourage anyone who wants to have confidence their order will arrive or their money will be safe to avoid Benhomes.

I was endlessly polite and tolerant with Benhomes, and was treated by being ignored and lied to.

If they are unable to refund a simple order and have lost inventory to a third party going into administration, I would caution buyer beware.
