Contacted Mr Wales in April 2021 and paid the full £140 to make sure I got the written replies to my questions and a final conclusion after the consultation. The chat was about 20 minutes and despite me having sent Mr Wales many pages of documents beforehand, detailing my precise situation, it was clear Mr Wales did not know much about my particular Leasehold issue or how to solve it. However, he went on to gave me his ideas and advice -that has since turned out to be useless and incorrect anyway. He did promise to send the write-up (included in the price) and even a video that would help too. But, as you might guess, I have received nothing back whatsoever in the 4 months since and have given up waiting. All I ever get is the constant stream of 'simple' flat-rental issues he appears to specialise in, but which are irrelevant to me. Therefore I cannot recommend him, particularly for anything slightly out of the ordinary.
Update, Nov 2021: despite Mr Wales's reply below, I can assure everyone her, that my question was on how I can get the Freehold to my Leasehold property (dating from June 1786) where the Lease document has not been seen for a over a century and the Landlord is unknown, but a High Court case judgement has since 'extinguished all Freeholders' but that my property is still only 'Good Leasehold' and my questions certainly were not conserning any 'Freehold land' as he strangely states. It just shows how Mr Wales 'ducks and dives' to avoid looking out-of-his-depth and incompetent.

RTBL is the most effective concise professional guidance advice ever written. You may think reading a superior and head lease may be soooo boring ; but beware because as Bernie Wales says, most accountants and lawyers don't seem to really understand what happens in real life and therefore most advice given to residential management companies about the flats they live in is similar to an Agatha Christie novel, where crimes have been committed by not understanding the plot (lease).

Presented to me as the 'expert' in all things leaseholder - sadly never responds to my queries past my paid for meeting - I get emails almost daily upselling his 'expertise' I've made enquiries about Right to Manage, Freehold Enfranchisement on multiple occasions but nothing comes back.
I stand by my review, I was not expecting anything for 'nothing' or more input than was paid for - Bernie offered to review some paperwork as part of this meeting and I haven't been able to raise him since, on this or on other issues - absolutely no response whatsover until this reply to my review, It would have been far nicer to have spoken or emailed to iron out any misunderstanding but he was simply not interested. He does advertise as the person to go to with lease issues and does have 'click' responses to have a reply - absolutely zero response to anything
