OMG I wish I had of read these reviews before purchasing what a crap company. Tried to cancel my order after seeing my invoice for $213.93 shoot up to $259.32 supposed to be a nz company What the hell??

They totally refuse to get back to you - they just go ahead and take my money and more!!!

How do they keep trading?

I feel totally shattered I fell for their scam.

such a bad company no replies at all I bought a cat flea collar and it lasted one week then my cat caught them again i tried constantly to contact them and no reply

This company sold me a DVD player that doesn't power up. They asked me to record a video showing the fault. I have done this, now they don't respond to emails I have sent them. Do not use this company you will get ripped off!

DONT USE THIS SITE, IT IS A FULL ON SCAM, THEY ARE WANTING YOUR MONEY AND WILL NOT SEND OUT YOUR ITEMS, ALL THE 5 STARS IS AT LEAST ONE OF THE TEAM MEMBERS KEEPING THEIR RATES HIGH WHEN INFACT ITS NOT HIGH AT ALL.

A SCAMMED CUSTOMER

Awful experience! Ordered a Pokemon folder for my son's birthday and the item was delivered with a torn front cover! I immediately notified best deals and they asked for a picture of the folder in the bin, and then they would replace the folder. I sent the picture straight away and I am still waiting for a replacement folder. I have emailed three times to chase the delivery and keep getting some lame excuse about needing to talk to the warehouse. Avoid this company!! Pay extra for good service and better quality items.

Ordered a bug/light bulb. Waited 7-15 days as they said. Never arrived rang up really hard to get hold of anyone to be told bulb was broken by Courier service. Never contacted and told us. The operator said we would get a refund as no more in stock. Still waiting for refund. Will never use them again...

I had bought 2 electric lamps. However, they do not meet my expectations, so I want to return them. But customer service doesn't care. No response to my email. And the chat just cuts off. This is very bad. Never buy anything here ‼️‼️

WASTE OF TIME AND $, BAD SERVICE, POOR QUALITY AND WILL NOT HONOUR WARRANTY ON FAULTY GOODS. I bought a 76800amphr power bank $250. the on off switch broke in the first month. It pushed in and stayed in, luckily in the on position so i can still use it. I emailed and advised of issue, they asked for repeated video of the same thing. Asking me to push button in. The button is broken it can not be pushed in! Absolutly hopeless. Im expecting it to be well broken and completely useless well within the 1yr warranty. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM BEST DEALS!

We ordered gym equipment from Best Deals and the order arrived in two deliveries different days and still manage not to send everything. We followed up and being send back and forth every time asking for more info. I got the feeling they looking for an excuse not to rectify the issue. I would not recommend buying from these people.

Do not order from this company! They say based in NZ but they aren't. They need to be shut down! Absolutely no communication, can't get hold of them and goods are not in NZ they are liers and need to be removed from the Internet. 😠

Customer after-sales service is not even deserving of 1 star. We bought a massage chair which decided to stop working. We are perfectly aware it is out of warranty but I could not find anyone who can possibly repair so I rang best deals hoping to get some help only to be told it's up to the customer to find one. And if it was still under warranty, they said they do not repair meaning their massage chairs are as good as disposable. Once they stop working, nothing more you can do about it. When you thought you bought their product at a good deal as like most of what they sell, you actually bought it for way more than its actual value in terms of functionality. Apart from not getting my money's worth, I am also concerned with the environmental damage all these faulty Homasa massage chairs contribute as they end up at the dump.

I thought they were based in nz and there website said next day delivery but this was not the case took close to a month to receive the product , it works but could have for cheaper from Temu but thought I’d receive it faster so if you want an item fast don’t order from this site

So best deals is based in Auckland however the stock is from China The stuff is the same as aliexpress. Wish and timu however they hike up the price they will not send you a confirmation email on your order they will send you a track and trace that won't work until the item arrives in New Zealand My biggest beef is the fact I was like to about a product As when I called them about the product they said it was coming from Australia I said that's fine I order it I call back the next day as I never received a confirmation email they told me it was from China I said them to cancel the order they said no problem however they sent it anyway after calling them back I was assured it was coming from Australia Onlyt o get a confirmation email to say it's coming from China. So they breach the consumer guarantees act under misrepresentation buyer be warned against best deals NZ not only that but the item did arrive from China but it was completely the wrong item wrong specs

When I made my order all I was given was an ID number. No tax invoice or confirmation was received. Have messaged twice but no response. Money gone from my account. Very disappointed. My advice is don't deal with this company

Ordered with Afterpay. Started a dispute with afterpay as I never received a confirmation or shipping email. I ended up receiving the item, which looks exactly to what I ordered, so I'm happy, BUT I strongly believe it is because I didn't pay in full straight away and was able to threaten the money with the dispute. I won't risk it again

Brought a table. Could not be made up due to a fault in the making. Took a long time but received a refund. Still waiting for a refund to dispose of the table pieces as they expected me to take to landfill. Promises and promises and still nothing. Customer service is overseas not nz...you can tell by the written answers. The table was junk and I will never buy from them again.

Ordered a Stand up paddleboard after browsing many online stores. Was happy with price etc. Placed order online via laybuy then read the reveiws for Best Deals. Clearly there are alot of unhappy customers,so I got super worried.Contacted the customer support number,got given slightly incorrect info,so wanted to cancel order,but was advised I couldnt ( communication with laybuy great,but best deals not ) Eventully after a week I received a confirmation/purchase email and tracking number.10 days later my item arrived and its great. Even though my purchase was fine, I probably wouldnt risk buying from the company due to their communication styles.

Best deals quite good to deal with in general but the dance mat I bought was such poor quality I didn't give it as a present as it looked so cheap. Packaging was terrible. Box is battered so not sure the mat will even work!!!! Very dissapointed to be honest. 😤

orderesd fan had workrd for 6months..then faulty stopped working had electrician diagnose faulty..video best deals proof of fault..6 weeks later still battling replacement bedroom fan and light..if this was my 80yearold parents with no light for 6 weeks ..would be terribly dangerous for them..
excuses .poor communication, no action ,taken legal action now

I ordered a queensize bed and was delivered to rural west coast within a week....bed is good quality and looks great....I look forward to many more purchases from best deals nz
