This company is a scam, positive reviews are blackmailed out of customers

I was forced to put a 4-5 star review by the company in order to cancel my subscription and get a refund, after being fraudulently signed up for their loyalty programme (long story short, I never made an account myself, don't know how they got my details, didn't know they existed until money started coming out of my account) I will paste the email they have sent me below. This company is a scam, it is absolutely disgusting. I have edited my review from a 4 star to a 1 star once I received confirmation that my account has been cancelled and a refund has been put in place. This is about 4 months AFTER my original call with them where they confirmed they would cancel my account.

"Help me close your case today. If we do not proceed with closing it, your account will still be active and continue to get debited. It is important to treat this with utmost urgency.

Simply follow the instructions outlined and send us the screenshot so I delete your account immediately.

If you do not follow the instructions as stated, I wouldn't be able to cancel your account or issue the refund.

Adding the review only shows proof of feedback after handling your case.

Honestly I believe its a scam, be careful.

Every time I tried to spend the money that was in my account, by placing an order, it was promptly cancelled. I have not been able to spend my money that this company has belonging me, and it was a large amount too.
On two occasions they refunded two payments due to no orders being processed.
The way this company operates is complex and complicated and the customer advisers don't help.
The website is the poorest I have seen and I now believe its a scam.
Please be careful on your first order that you sign up for money to be taken from your account. I fell into this trap.
I have been emailed and asked to put a good review on trustpilot and my money will be returned. Bribery. I can't do that when my experiences have been awful. Please avoid this company and website - bestlook.store

At first I was so frustrated and angry

At first I was so frustrated and angry, with myself and with the company. However, today at 10.40am I received a call from Angeline and my day was made. She was calm, professional and listened to me. This made me feel valued. She decided to refund me and I feel like the sun came out. What a great customer service agent. Thank you Angeline.

Honestly a money grabbing scam

I was signed up to this company automatically through I think TikTok, I never actively searched for it and signed up myself. I didn't even have a password for the "account" that was created for me.
There is no option to cancel your account on the website, just "skip the month" which is a disgusting and predatory practice in itself, because god forbid you forget to skip the month, or like me you don't even know you have an account, and you get charged money automatically.
Using the chat is a pain, there is a clear time delay in the messages, I was kicked from the chat after 6 minutes of "inactivity" while waiting for a response from a representative, but no response came while I was still in the chat. The response of the rep was only visible after the chat ended. In the chat I was told my account has been cancelled, but it could take time for the changes to be seen, but my account was still due to be charged within a couple of days, so I still had to skip the month for god knows what reason.
My account was never cancelled, I received a call from a number my phone thought was spam, so do what you want with that info, and turns out it was the company calling me. From this call I found out that my account is in fact NOT cancelled.
Grace (the lady that called me) was nice and helpful and had cancelled the account for me.
Hopefully this cancellation sticks unlike the last one.
I was however very strongly urged to leave a review whilst on the phone with her, and explaining that I couldn't do so that very minute as I've already taken a phone call at work which I shouldn't have, it took a couple of tries to convince her to let me go.

All in all, terrible experience, definitely a scam website. Never trust a website that takes money from you monthly for in-store credits, you can't get the money refunded, not easily at least, they're just trying to force you to spend money monthly with them, and although I never checked out or purchased directly through them, I would bet that if you brought only enough items to cover the total of your credits, the site won't let you check out unless you plan on spending at least £10 more, as seems to be common practice with scammy sites like this.
Would give 0/10 if it was possible.
