Christmas Party at Southampton Trojans
I had a great time at our work Christmas party this year at Southampton Trojans Club. This was the first year the company I work for have been and the food and entertainment were great. Any issues during service were sorted out quickly by the floor staff. It was good to see how quickly any problems were solved on the night, the team were working incredibly hard!

Very enjoyable night
What a great night at Milton Keynes for the Dream Circus Christmas party. Great deal taking into account the price and what was on offer, this was my first proper Christmas party since the pandemic ended and what a way to return.

I attended a Best Parties Ever party for the first time and it did not disappoint. The entertainment and the atmosphere was brilliant and the staff were extremely helpful prior to the evening and on the night itself. Will definitely be returning!

Packed, extortionate, slow
The venue was extremely packed. There was barely any space to move around the tables, you had to continually ask people on neighbouring tables to shuffle around if you wanted to leave your seat. It is clear the company saw capacity limit as a goal to reach.
That being said, queues for the bar weren't that long, but this might be because of the drink prices - £6.50 for a 330ml bottle of Peroni. If you do the maths, that equates to £11.17 a pint!! If you wanted any other beer or cider, you were out of luck because that is all they sold other than wines or spirits.
Their cheapest red wine was CYT Cabernet Sauvignon at £26.60 a bottle - this is normally £7.45 from a shop.
For one of those corporate Christmas parties, the starter and main course were alright in terms of quality, though they weren't that big. Unfortunately it took ages to eat. The starters came out at 21:00, the mains came out at 22:07 and the desserts came out at 22:35. Whilst the starters and mains were ok, the desserts were poor. It was a tray of brownies, tarts or doughnuts you had to pass around the table.
There was also a 'dessert station' which consisted of the cheapest ring doughnuts you can buy in Tesco pinned against a wooden board.
There was live entertainment but it was very far away from the tables so you couldn't really enjoy it. It consisted of three girls singing twenties songs, and then a girl doing an act with a hula hoop.
The leaflet on the table said there would be dodgems starting at 21:40 although as far as I could see there weren't any, but then I was still waiting for my main course at that point..
The bacon roll 'survivors breakfast' was good though and the cloak room was free.
This event might have been acceptable if it was a lot cheaper, but as well as the prices I mentioned, I paid nearly £60 for a ticket. The whole thing is an absolute rip off.

Milton Keynes - Company doesn't seem to care
Milton Keynes - Food didn't arrive until nearly 10:00 and all tables were complaining. And when it did come out the food was being so rushed to be served that my suit jacket was ruined when part contents of my plate were poured down the back of it.
When I tried to talk to someone front of house, they were disinterested and told me to speak to Head Office. Head Office do not return any emails or messages and even the CEO (who I have contacted) doesn't want to follow up on my complaint.
That said, the entertainment and venue was quite good, but the company that is running it needs to take a long look at how important the complete Customer Experience is, and not just how well they perform based on the night.
*** Thanks for the reply below but I note still no offer to compensate for a ruined suit due to negligence. An offer of your insurance companies details would suffice. As mentioned above, I recommend focusing more on the complete customer experience and leave a lasting memory and not just focus on what is delivered on the day.

Amazing night! Great fun!
It was an incredible night! The staff were lovely and so attentive, they catered to all my friends and colleagues dietary requirements and anything we needed they went above and beyond to ensure we got with a smile. We had a great night at Southampton…
We had a great night at Southampton staff were very helpful, food was great. My favourite part was the Entertainment particularly at the end when the dancers got us up and dancing too!

Fantastic Night
Had a fun night with colleagues while enjoying the fantastic ambiance, music, and entertainment. I also appreciated that the food was catered considering our varying dietary restrictions. great Xmas night out for big groups!
Great choice for a Xmas night out for a big group. We had green wristbands which meant drinks at the bar were included even cocktails! We were pleasantly surprised to find wine and bottled water waiting for us on our table when we arrived as well. The entertainment was great and we enjoyed the 1920s theme, people made a good effort to dress up. The food was lovey with vegan options for some of our group, the staff did so well getting it out to so many people we didn’t have to wait long for anything all night. Overall would recommend this night for any groups or companies looking to celebrate Xmas

Amazing night at Barleylands…
Amazing night at Barleylands Billericay.
What a fantastic night everyone in our party enjoyed themselves from start to finish. The food was fresh and well presented. The only slight downside was the drink selection could have been a bit better, also the non-alcoholic selection (J20) run out far to quickly, it would be nice to have a selection of non alcoholic spirits available. We cannot wait to book for next year!!

Amazing night at Knowsley Safari Park
Amazing night at Knowsley Safari Park! Considering the amount of people in there, the set up and staff worked extremely hard to accommodate everyone there. Drinks all night and 100% was worth upgrading to all inclusive. Will be returning next year!

Doesn't live up to its name, this year Reading had the circus theme. The performances were not all that impressive and were all white women, clearly aimed at a very singular audience, would have been nice to see some male and bame performers. Pacing between acts and dining service was all over the place.
My colleague also witnessed a fight in the male toilets which led to them leaving.
Tickets were also corrupted when sent out on the day, was only fixed within hours of needing them not that there was any security to check them. Anyone could have got in.
