Disappointed!
As the organiser for our group I was quite embarrassed at what I’d booked.
One of the bars had run out of one type of beer when we arrived at around 7pm. Also one beer wasn’t available at all so drinks not as advertised we’d paid £50 each for unlimited drinks wristbands but couldn’t even get the drinks we wanted.
The tables were crammed so close together you couldn’t walk between them.
The food was ok, but very long gap between the starter and main course, didn’t try the dessert stations & the doughnut wall looked quite sad.
Apparently there was some entertainment but the singer was at the very far end of the room & couldn’t be seen, let along heard it certainly looked nothing like what you see on the website! The casino was just one table & there was no sign of any dodgems!
Overall considering we paid £140 each including wristbands we expected it to be much better, I would never book with this company again, Hype Agency parties are much better.

Freezing cold and a nice 15 minute queue just to get in! Long queues for both toilets most of the night. The one good thing about the queue for the toilet was that it was the one warm place at the venue. Spent the whole night freezing cold as there was no warm air. There was massive long gaps between courses and the main course half the table got their meal about 15 minutes before the second group of the table. Long queues for the bar early on. Then on the menu was bacons rolls at 12am. These never came and no one knew why. Place is a complete rip off. Book your Christmas parties elsewhere. Worse Christmas party I've ever been on. Because you are nearly always in the middle of nowhere, its not like you can even move onto somewhere else easily to bring the night to life.

The Kent Event Centre rent the building to Best Parties Ever to hold a number of Christmas Parties and we are always so thrilled to be able to invite our team of volunteers to a meal and evening on bumper cars! I am unable to comment on the circus entertainment as we keep our night simple however the feedback has been that its the best theming they have seen and the food was fantastic, you couldn't keep them off the bumper cars. The team did an amazing job looking after us and we wish you all the best with the ongoing festivities!

Extremely helpful staff throughout the process from booking to the actual night of our Christmas Party. The set up looked amazing, the staff were friendly and very helpful, the food was fantastic and the entertainment. Thank you for making it a wonderful evening - I have received lots of thanks and compliments on the night. Well done Best Parties I would use you again and fully recommend you.

The event was advertised as a circus when in reality it could barely be classed as that - most of the acts were just 4 girls dancing and waving ribbons around. There were some aerial acts which were impressive at first, but then they did the same act 2 more times and everyone was frankly bored of it at the end.

The food they served was amazing though, the soufflé was to die for and the drinks were pretty good value compared to some other events I've been to.

The DJ was all over the place at points, some parts were very fun but they would switch to a slow song straight away and everyone would leave the dance floor straight away.

Overall I wouldn't recommend it for the cost, it was advertised as far more grand than it actually was, and you could get the same or better experience just booking at a hotel or something.

Very good atmosphere, perfect for a company do. The circus show is great and the entertainment in between dishes at dinner is funny and gets everybody involved. Definitely recomend!

We last came to this event in 2019, the night was really good along with the entertainment. The service was also good, food served on time, hot and well presented. We also had someone come to the table to ask if we wanted drinks etc.

Fast forward to 3rd December 2022!!!!!
Oh how things had changed. The tent still looked well, however that's about the only thing that hadn't changed. WOW I never thought a small bottle of bear could be £6 with most of the other drinks being £9 we were well and truly ripped off. We couldn't even have a tap water, to have water was a further £4.50!!!
We had bread on the table, but no plates to put the rolls on. We should have been served our starter at approximately 8.30pm. There was only 10 people serving our half of the room and we were 3 rows in from the kitchen. Just after 9pm, we got our starters, or rather half of our table did, the remaining starters arrived 10 minutes later. Oh by the way, whilst this was happening, the DJ started to play games????? probably to hide the fact the service was poor? anyway, it didn't get any better. We then had to wait for the main course, which arrived 40 minutes later. Half of the table had no knives or forks, so we had to wait for them to arrive. The food was cold, which was a shame as it was very tasty. So then on to the sweet. We had 2 tables with 10 people on each. There was a selection of different sweets, however ONLY 9 on each table. When questioned i was told there is more on some station or other? I made them fetch some more. If you add that up per table its a clever way of saving on cost??? So on to the crumble station and donut wall, or rather a table in the corner that was as inviting a wall paper table, and there was no donuts left!! This took about 3 hours to get the food etc.
I could go on and on about how bad this was, let alone how much my company had paid for it and the drinks and we left at 12.30am and NOT ONE Christmas record, I think the DJ thought he was at some cool night club somewhere in Ibiza.

"Best Rip Off ever" should be the name. Shame on you for allowing this to happen. Those who went to the Nottingham venue on the 3rd December should get a refund under the trades description act!!!
Last time ever (that could be a good name) and it will be.

Booked initially for approx 16 and paid deposit and told this could be amended later once numbers were definite, only to find out two months before when I contacted them to say it was now 14 people, not only were we told we’d lose deposit ( half expected this despite initial assurances), the company said as it was under ten weeks to the party , we had to pay full price for the two cancellations or they wouldn’t release anyone’s tickets. As a group of nhs staff this added a lot onto already an expensive ticket price. Tried to order drink wristbands to be told everyone had to be on the same wristband, which was crazy as which group of 14-16 individuals all want the same drinks package??
On the night the tent looked lovely and the dancers and acrobats were decent, however the food was served cold, vegan meals delayed, drinks overpriced, long queues at bar and it was clear that we had been well and truly ripped off. Two of the cheapest alcoholic drinks at the bar were listed at £6, I was told at 9pm they didn’t have this and most of the other drinks were £9. The donut wall, crumble station and midnight breakfast all sounded great however was in reality very drab.
Our taxi driver said every he had picked up had said similar comments to ours and had expressed disappointment. Best parties ever’ definitely needs to be renamed , I suggest , ‘mediocre -overpriced -take advantage of people party’. Seriously underwhelming. Luckily I was in good company, saving the night.

Firstly, the event was good, the entertainment was top class and the venue was extremely well designed and built, you certainly didn't know you were stuck in a tent in a field! However, that's where the good ends, we arrived at 7pm and sat at our table, at 7:30pm a member of the catering staff handed us a plate of bread rolls, great we thought, dinner will be served at 8:00pm as advertised, ha-ha definitely not, at 8:30 (one hour later) we received our starters (which were nice), and we then had to wait until 10:30pm (2 hours later) for our main course (3 hours since the bread rolls arrived) - totally unacceptable.

Whilst we were waiting for our meal the entertainment was in full throw, my wife decided to stand up and film one of the entertainers, this is when one of the security staff named Liz (the most aggressive, rude bouncer I have ever experienced in my life) told my wife to sit down because she was not allowed to dance with the entertainer, my wife said I am not dancing with them I am taking video! She let it go and she sat down.

Midnight came and went and there were no signs of the bacon rolls we had been promised as part of the package, we hunted high and low for 30 minutes but to no avail, eventually we found a member of staff and told them no one had been to our table with bacon rolls, approximately 15 minutes later a member of staff bought the bacon rolls to our table and apologised.

At about 1pm we left the venue and my wife took a full bottle of wine with her that we had paid your extortionately high prices for, unfortunately, and as if by magic, Liz the aggressive bouncer stopped my wife and told her that NO alcohol could leave the premises, even though at the same time we were walking out there were others walking out with bottles of Prosecco, Liz the rude bouncer told us that they had won those and that they could take them, therefore, her statement of NO alcohol could leave the premises was clearly wrong and she just had an issue with my wife and our group.

Liz the aggressive bouncer then proceeded to make a number of rude comments about "just because we’ve paid a little bit of money doesn't entitle us to take bottles of alcohol with us", things then got heated with our group and Liz and she wanted to fight us at the venue with comments like “come here and say that”, of which other patrons thought was totally outrageous.

We attended the 4th night of your event in Milton Keynes, and my advice to you is to get a handle on Liz the bully bouncer or you're going to have a lot of pi**ed off punters on your hands, she's out of control, and Liz certainly put a downer on our night, and we'll be sure to never return!

Fantastic evening of great entertainment, fab (vegetarian) food (how did they manage perfect soufflé starters for so many?!), and seamless, friendly and well organised staff. To be honest I didn't hv too high expectations of the eve, but it was amazing, ended up staying later than intended as music was great too. Thank you for a great start to Xmas celebrations and the opportunity to put aside
if for a short few hours, the troubles and strife in the world.

Good party, fun was had by all.

Having missed out on our 2020 party, we were really looking forward to our 2021 event.
The Best Parties Ever team were so helpful in the lead up to our booking and answered my many questions to give the best options and ensure I had all the information I needed.
Some of the staff had been a bit worried about covid but having the option to go straight to our table really helped with this, and we used this as our base for the night.
We had all inclusive wristbands and there were a selection of drinks on the table when we arrived. Some of our guests had allergies which the staff checked with us on the night to make sure they had the correct options.
The entertainment was fantastic and the DJ was great and we really enjoyed the dodgems.
It would have been good to have some extra dessert options and we missed the survivors breakfast, but that may have been because we were too busy on the dance floor!

Awful Covid policy - I can understand not getting the ticket money back, but not getting drinks money back after were weren't able to attend due to Covid isolations rules is just a scam. We won't be coming back for a 3rd time and all the units around us at the business park who also have previously gone wont be going either.

We had an amazing night the whole group loved it, the food were fantastic, we had members of the group with dietary requirements and were catered to. The donut wall and ice cream stall where a nice and quirky touch to the evening. Had a real laugh on the dodgems. Will definitely be back next year!!.

Prior to booking…. Best Parties Ever’s advertising campaign made this sound like it was gonna be an Xmas party to remember……oh and it was…..but for ALL the wrong reasons!

The food was appalling……not the fine dining experience we were sold the event on!! The entertainment mediocre……the pan n ice station…..nonexistent …..doughnut wall nonexistent!! Drinks were so over priced it was crazy! And they didn’t even have any Cola!!!!

Honestly…..this company are fraudulent……they promised a spectacular Xmas celebration……delicious food with top class entertainment!!!! There was not one thing spectacular about this event (except the people I came with)……..it was SPECTACULARLY crap!!!

Dec 17th 2021 Newcastle race course .best parties ever. The setting was fine .that’s it very over priced .drinks .food. .all the things they say are GLAMOURISED.CASINO DISCO ALL PRETTY BASIC .TO BE HONEST STAY WELL CLEAR

It's such a shame that 'best parties ever' couldn't deliver what was promised, as there was so much potential for it to be a great party.
The 2 stars are for the venue (Windsor) & the entertainment was good. As for everything else - terrible. Paid extra for 'all inclusive' drinks wristbands and all cocktails were gone by 8.30pm, then no gin. Such a waste of money paying for drinks when none were available anyway. Bar staff had no clue what they were doing and there were big queues for drinks. The food was very disappointing and there was no organisation when it came to dietary requirements.

This company is clearly just out to make as much money as they can without caring about their customers because once they have your money, there's no way you will get any of it back! Huge lack of customer service, every time I emailed I got a short, often rude reply. I had so many questions before the night as was never given enough information. You have to pay your 'deposit' for each person attending, which you never get back even if you give plenty of notice when adjusting numbers. You also have to pay for the same wristband for every person attending - so even though we had some people in the party not drinking alcohol, we were still obliged to pay £66 for them to have a wristband. Which as mentioned before was a waste of money as barely any drinks were available!

I am genuinely disappointed as overall enjoyed the venue, music and good company but the rest was an absolute let down and pure greed. Avoid

Absolutely brilliant night. Entertaining throughout the night. Food very nice. Staff brilliant and worked very hard. Venue was lovely and the circus theme enjoyed by us all. Definitely booking again next year

Leaving was the best bit. What a shambles!!!! It looked like a run down legion, was out of alcohol by 9pm on one bar, out of all premium spirits before the night started, and the ‘casino’ resembled my kitchen table!!!

Dietary requirements were poorly looked after, and I was at risk of a reaction the way desserts were delivered (good job I didn’t eat them).

The excuses came thick and fast from the staff, “it’s our last night”, “we tried to get more drink but we couldn’t”

DO. NOT. ATTEND these events. Literal robbery! I find these 5 star event reviews impossible to believe. You’d have a better time in a Wetherspoons
