We purchased a special pack of plants for Bees, Bugs and Butterflies from Beth Chatto to start off our brand new wildlife garden. Now into their third season, the bees, bugs and butterflies love them!

I am always excited when I receive an order from the Beth Chatto plant nursery. I had waited several months for the Alstroemerias to be propagated and received a email letting me know they were available. The plants arrived beautifully packed and in excellent condition.

I recently bought some plants from here and was extremely happy with my order. The plants were carefully and effectively wrapped and in sustainable packaging. They were in good condition because although dormant when they arrived, they have grown on really well now they are planted out in the garden. They arrived quickly and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy further plants from the Beth Chatto Nursery and to recommend it to others.

Lovely healthy plants, all doing well since planting out. Well packaged, and the packaging was easy to recycle. I love the interesting range of plants, they have so many varieties I haven't seen before. My new garden is a mix of sunny gravel and shade so Beth Chatto's categories of plants are perfect for me. So much inspiration for tricky places.

Had a small problem with some snowdrop bulbs but after contacting by email it was sorted out quickly and much to my benefit as well. Otherwise excellent quality.

Excellent quality of plants and packed securely so that they arrived in great condition although the courier did not deliver on the correct day. Would recommend.

I have placed two orders with this nursery now. Both have survived the winter and are growing well in the garden. I would be happy to continue ordering from Beth Chatto as I have been very happy with the quality of the plants and the recyclable packaging.

I’ve bought some perennial plants from this company in the autumn.
Brunnera which supposed to be in 1 litre pot came in 9cm pot, eaten by slugs. It is small but seems to be growing in the ground now.
Other plants looked poor. Japanese anemone did not survive in the ground planted in the early spring.
Viola is still recovering after being planted, it might not survive too.
Would never deal with them again.

Ordering from Beth Chatto’s was easy and had the plants I was looking for, unusual plants that other nurseries don’t stock yet are perfect for our change in weather pattern. The plants were lovingly packed by Jo who took the utmost care that every plant was going to arrive in perfect condition. The plants themselves are first rate good healthy plants which no doubt will do well in our garden. We look forward watching the plants develop and blossom next year!
The only disappointment was the postage to our address in Moray which was to be huge, luckily there was no postage to our son’s address in Aberdeenshire, where the plants were sent to.

I ordered 8 plants: a selection of Japanese Anemones, Rudbekia and Phlox approx. 10 days ago. They arrived yesterday in excellent condition, all beautifully packed to avoid any soil spillage or crushing and in a strong box. I have bought from this nursery in the past, sometimes unusual plants not available elsewhere, and have never been disappointed. Have recommended to the rest of my family.

Very happy with my plant order. The delivery was quick and you can tell they were all packaged with love. There is a big selection of unusual cultivars and varieties to choose from here. I will be ordering again in the future.

I have been using the nursery quite regularly since discovering them about 15 months ago. The plants always arrive well packaged and grow strongly when planted out. I have tried other online nurseries over the years and they often require potting on for months or just die. I strongly recommend Beth Chatto for all of your plant needs.

We visited Beth Chatto’s Garden and Nursery on my birthday last year in August and really loved it, just wished I lived a little closer so could visit more often. The nursery does stock plants that are rarer and more special than a lot of other nurseries. I bought an Agastache when I visited and have just ordered 3 more to continue a theme in a newly planted up border. The packaging, quality and prompt arrival of the plants was faultless and they are now in their new home.
Keep doing what you’re doing, we love a family run nursery couldn’t be better.
