It's a rip off
It's a rip off:
Initital premium: £60
Excess on the claim: £50
Recorded postage to repair centre with insurance: £13.50
Not having a phone for a minimum of three weeks whilst the claim is processed and the phone repaired: priceless!
All compared to a £200 quote from the manufacturer
To top it off, they don't even gaurantee that the repairers will use genuine parts and they treat you like a criminal by asking for excessive amounts of evidences (proof of purchase, connection letter from your network provider etc.)

Good price but poor customer service
Good price but poor customer service. No policy documents received despite premium being taken from my bank account. It took 4 phone calls to sort it out. First two calls to 'Option 1' just - agent said the problem would be passed on to her manager and email details I gave her were inaccurately quoted back. Third call (using Option 2 in desperation) resulted in sensible conversation but a blank document being sent. Fourth call, also to Option 2, very informative and finally resulted in documents being received.

No premium collected and policy cancelled without notification
Signed up for insurance last year and recently realised I was intending to pay monthly as opposed to annually.
No premium has ever been collected and when I emailed better buy they stated they had problems when entering my direct debit details upon setting the policy up and an email had been sent asking for myself to resubmit them.
Thing is I never received any further email despite receiving the initial confirmation fine...and why wouldn't they call to chase this up? Instead, they cancelled the policy without my knowledge, so I have spent the past 6 months uninsured.
The mobile phone insurance market is very competitive. Look elsewhere..
