I've been going here for over a year, even taking my son because it's easier for me than seeing my PCP. However, Shaquaysha at the front desk is extremely rude! She even got an attitude and said, "Som... See more

The facility was very clean

The facility was very clean. The staff were were friendly and informative.
I did not expect the COVID test to take as long as it did. My previous experiences were much quicker. It would have been nice to have to be warned that I would be there for more than an hour.

EXCELLENT OVERALL; GLITCH ON ARRIVAL

Overall excellent service ON TESTING ITSELF. Seemed to be a glitch when we arrived and tried to call and announce our arrival, as instructed....but no one answered. WE were lucky to get the attention of a staff person who was assisting someone parked in the car next to ours. Not sure how long we would have sat there otherwise.

Wonderful Nurse

Was there for a Covid test and the nurse immediately noticed my problem breathing and sent me straight to the ER. I was admitted and because of her, was treated for breathing issues. Thank you.

Process and procedures

Over the course of Labor Day, your voice mail system did not accept messages in any of its voice mail boxes. Apparently they were full. You could not be reached on the general number, the covids results, nor the practice manager. Also, we had submitted drivers license and insurance information ahead of time, as requested. On the day of the test the receptionist could not find this.
It took 6 days to get the result, which was too late for our purpose.

In contrast to your office procedures, the technician who took the swab and the clinical person were very good.

We were asked to e-mail our driver…

We were asked to e-mail our driver licenses and insurance cards ahead of time, which we did a couple of days before our appointment. When we arrived they did not find them.
Also when we phoned to get our results, we got always the messages that mail box was full.
The people on the premises were very friendly.

Able to get Rapid COVID testing here…

Able to get Rapid COVID testing here when couldn’t elsewhere. However had to wait in car for over 45 min before called in to be seen. Nice personnel at all levels of process with timely follow-up on results.

Very efficient and friendly check in…

Very efficient and friendly check in process, nurse and doctor. I highly recommend this location! It was a much better experience than going to my primary care doctor (who wouldn’t allow me to schedule an appointment because it has been 5 years since I had been there and was therefore considered a “new” patient.)

Please get your scheduled Covid test somewhere else

For a scheduled Covid test, BetterMed made me wait 37 minutes past the appointment time only to tell me that I could not be tested for Covid because I only had cash and did not possess my credit card, even though the test was free. I recommend no one ever go to BetterMed, and instead use either PatientFirst or CVS MinuteClinic.

I arrived to the Regency BetterMed 10 minutes early for my 9am appt 9/3/20, for my pre-scheduled Covid test. I was the only one in the parking lot, I called the number, option 2. No answer. Waited 10 minutes. Called again. No answer. Called again. Was disconnected immediately. Walked inside. She said go back to the car. Waited 20 more minutes. 9:20, called again. She said she'd be with me shortly.

She finally called me at 9:37. Took my insurance information. Told me it was a free test, but she needed my credit card number. I told her I did not have my card with me, how much cash does she need for this free test. She said she could not do the Covid test without getting my credit card, to be used on "future" visits. She canceled my appointment, and I left without service. I'll never go to any BetterMed again for any reason. Dealing with BetterMed May Be Worse Than Getting Covid-19

Better than alternatives.

Very good service and quick response. Felt much more comfortable here than at other urgent care facilities. The nurses put me at ease about the testing and they explained everything before doing it.

Great experience once I got inside...

Great experience once I got to the clinic. Until that time, having no one to answer the phone for hours at a time due to staff shortage, was not convenient and takes away from the name Bettermedcare. It is always better to be helped swiftly than for the person who is ill to have to invest so much time in just getting to speak with someone. Having a designated person to answer the phones would make this a much BETTER place to come to in time of need.

With that said, once I did get inside, the care was ABSOLUTELY the best. Kendall is a tremendous asset to your organization both professionally and personally. She stays on task but makes it easy to trust her, to feel cared for and that you are the only person she is focusing on when we know she is juggling lots of patients. Her personality and good cheer act as a boost to make you feel better even if you still have the same symptoms or concerns.

Mukil is WONDERFUL as well. Professional, easy-going while making sure you understand the care he is offering, the reasons why he is doing what he is doing and the expectations of what will happen next. His relaxed presence is refreshing a many medical professionals seem to be in a hurry as soon as they walk through the examining room door.

If you could get that telephone situation worked out, you would have a TOP NOTCH urgent care center that could establish itself as THE place to go when things aren't going so well.
